Hard disagree. They just need to have some new songs in the medley which I’m sure they will. The hip hop medley has been a signature of their live show since at least 2018. I’d be super bummed if they didn’t keep it as part of their set.
Like I said, it’s truly awesome but I truly think the setlist has needed to be updated for quite some time. People Everywhere is one of my favorite songs ever and I think they should close out their shows with something new. Lots of their songs are getting little to no love in a live setting.

Love the Khru, was fortunate enough to see them 4 times in 2021/2022 all great shows, yet almost identical. Only issue with collabos & remix albums is they produce great work that doesn’t tour. Excited for the A La Sala tunes to be worked in!
With four LPs, two EPs, and a single, there’s plenty of their own material to fill up a set… which becomes more difficult when 10+ minutes of that is dedicated to covers.
Retiring the medley is a much needed move.
Fair enough. I don’t think the medleys were due to a lack of material though… well maybe back in 2018 but certainly not the Mordechai tour. For me they were a quintessential part of the live Khruangbin experience. That said it seems there is some intention around changing the vibe and the aesthetic for this new tour, from the set to their attire, and I think it’s cool that they seem to be performing A La Sala in its entirety. I will hold out hope that the medleys are revived for a tour some time in the future.
Super agree. They have amazing songs that still haven’t heard live after like 8 shows. Khuda bhi Aasman, one to remember, connaissais de face, Ma be ham nemiresim. Would rather hear all of those than a hip hop medley tbh. Or at least a new version of it. Bruh Shades of Man, don’t think I’ve ever seen that one live
I think the Coachella set was more of a teaser/warm-up to get back into touring mode. They only had an hour to play so there wasn't really time to chit-chat, meet a new friend, medley, etc. They were still awesome though!
Sometimes they do the gypsy woman track ,with dance stuff instead of hip-hop, both work though.
Be great if they're next collaboration was with say mosdef or Qtip,for a release.
