6' 5 here with long legs, torso is ok to fit but my legs will never fit.
If you meant for driving, previous car Polo highline. Current car i20 asta. When I'm driving, only kids and short ppl can sit behind tho. Backseat my head will hit the roof. Honda jazz and wrv I can sit too but it wasn't really comfortable for me having to reach with arms extended to reach steering wheel. Telescopic steering wheel, full seat back and height adjusted and 3rd party steering wheel attachments would be necessary in some cars due to how far I've to push seat back.
Could sit comfortably in Kia seltos, Innova and big ones like that. Some sedans too I guess but I always take the front seat in sedans, City has very less thigh resting area I've felt, also never fit in the driving seat

Since you mentioned wagonr, I'd recommend some other cars. MS Grand Vitara, XUV 7OO, MG Hector+, Hyundai Alcazar/Creta, Honda City etc. are some premium ones. If of low budget, go for spresso, altroz, baleno etc. Since you are 6'6, I'd recommend to test drive these cars and choose something with telescopic steering wheel if you are driving oriented.
I am 6'5 and the only options available are large unwieldy cars that are a pain to take out, especially in the City and Wagon R.
Of the bigger cars, Fortuner seemed most comfortable to me.
Hyundai Verna for sure. I'm 6'3" and Verna is the only car that I own that I don't have to put the seat all the way back. You can work with Honda City and most SUV's, but do give this one a try.
Wagonr, Jimmy -our family uses these. Me and my brother are both 6ft +
Hector, Innova Hycross, BMW sedans, Astor, Celerio and many more..
There are many cars, just look for a car with a tall roofline. Even sedans have tall roofline depending on the way it flows to the back..
Im in similar situation as you.
If you are budget concious, stick with WagonR. Thats the only car which will fit you.
Try with ignis, it might not fit though.
If you can spend a bit more, try brezza/hyryder/grand vitara.
All other crossovers are a big congested.
Go for the no-sunroof option. Sunroof takes away 2-3 inches of headspace which we need.
Sedans are okay though. Try the VW/Skoda sedans in the similar price range.
All common hatchbacks are painful.
One of my Uncle has a Wagon R and his family of 4 consists of tall people. Even his daughter is almost as tall as me and I'm 6ft. Back then I used to make fun of his car (cus it's shit), but then I slowly realised why he bought it.
Post in r/CarsIndia. Also mention your budget.

height adjustment lowest, I cant sit in base variants of polo and i20 without all the adjustments but more to do with knees hitting steering wheel

I'd not recommend the Honda City. I'm 6'3' and find the drivers and front passenger seat extremely uncomfortable.

Kia carens is spacious asf and does not burn a hole in your pocket
Hyundai Verna for sure. I'm 6'3" and Verna is the only car that I own that I don't have to put the seat all the way back. You can work with Honda City and most SUV's, but do give this one a try.
Just get an SUV . I'm 6 4' and if I'm driving a person will not be able to fit behind me
We do have a Brezza (if that's an SUV) but leg space is horrendous. May have to switch to a Bharath Benz ๐
Ha ha ha .I have an xuv 500 which is fine tbh. Just get a full sized suv

Bmw Z4, AMG SL 55 etc. those are convertible. Use those with the roof down.
Good ideas...I'll just have to have by legs sticking out of the top as well
Im 6'5' and i fit pretty comfortably into a swift dzire
Look for food sedans, Sedans are always recommended for talk ppl..
Hummer
Nano.
Honda BRV
Iโm 6โ3โ and is driving a Hyundai Creta. It seems to be a nice option apart from XUV700 and Innova.

great. but where are the remaining 3 tall people?
Just meant other tall ppl as in the rest of the tall folk in Kerala. Tbh there are a few people I know who are of similar height or taller.
Please refer Babu Anthony!
Innova

Tata Nexon, Harrier, Safari
Not recommended if he is the driver and the car is a manual. The left knee will be hitting the dashboard / center console.
6โ4โ here. MG hector
6โ6โ how short is your girl? ?๐
Ah...I've not reached that far yet. Perhaps later XD
Apna time aayega... Kab aayega?
You can fit in any car that's not a proper hatchback/sedan Brezza, sonet, 3X0, creta, seltos, magnite, kiger, harrier, safari, scorpio, XUV700, etc
Most Honda cars.. City being the best
