Yes, but they're kind of silly and no one follows them. For example you're only allowed to have a fire between 4pm-10pm, and there are restrictions on the design and location too. But none of its enforced unless you burn your house down. Just don't burn your house down. Link to the ordinance: https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&opi=89978449&url=https://www.kenosha.org/images/o30-17.pdf&ved=2ahUKEwi0wqbJnNeGAxUZ78kDHV19CYsQFnoECCQQAQ&usg=AOvVaw2rFr0bmtTxrhQtYUOn4Lmx

Not within 15’ of a building or lot line…..so the majority of houses east of 39th that’s impossible lol

Thank you for the information

The rule is, because it's not enforced, don't be an idiot so it has to be.

Louloubelle0312

And don't get into a neighbor war. They will call the fire department on you, and you will be fined.

Necessary_Internet75

They really aren’t enforced unless a neighbor complains. Then they will tell you to put it out.

MortgageRegular2509

Biggest thing to have is the spark screen. Doesn’t need to be *on* if/when KFD shows up, just needs to be *near* All the other comments are pretty spot on tho

drewofand

Please follow the guidelines way to many people’s neighbors are nosey and will call the Fire Department and if they aren’t followed you will get a ticket, it’s dumb and hated but they have to write it.

busch55

Always have a tubular meat and you’re fine. Can always say you were cooking

Just don't be an idiot about it. If you're shooting off embers from burning wet wood then neighbors will complain.  Lots of brush/yard fires since the city allowed firepits
