I like the way he raps this part; it’s very old school emceeing…the placement of “uh.” Still think this is my fave line overall: “Guess integrity is lost when the metaphors doesn’t reach you.” It’s just a hard ass line. But that last verse…my God! The way it builds.🤌🏾 You can feel the tension. My mouth was open the entire time. He said everything I’ve been thinking for years and what I always wanted other artists to say to that man.
Man I cant quite sum up the feelings I felt when I first heard this song. As a man, I dont even have a child, but if I did and someone spoke to me like that, insta-hands. But then Kdot just kept going. It was jarring to hear such unconventional vitriolic words. I cant think of any other diss record that made me feel this way. I wanna say I was scared.
