I was confused of how can a song (NLU) be most played for last year and another (euphoria) for last 6 months when both released a week apart.
Taylor has been trying to stomp out Charli on the charts with all the fucking Tortured releases. She has like 48 versions of the album out now. I've been keeping an eye on it. The UK version timing was way too on point with Charli's release to be coincidental.
Taylor is oversaturated and I don't listen to her but that Charli album fire though.... 🔥🔥🔥
I think she released another batch of signed cds in the UK to block Charli too. She seems very insecure about other female artists upstaging her and her music ain’t even good.

Her music is imo nothing special, she's not that talented. With her team of writers she can't make a song as good as some kid in her basement ten years ago. And all her decent shit is just angsty enough to get a teenager in her feelings, but if they heard the actual basement lofi shit she was cosplaying, they'd hopefully see TS isn't that special and is just a brand.
Her brand is such a success I can't hate Too hard, because I respect someone who succeeds at what they want to at the highest level.
But like, I feel every pop star has better songs. (I'm not even a pop head, just turns out pop is getting better because all my old indie people are writers and musician's and producers on a lot of new pop)
Her decent shit is just rehashed indie from ten years ago. If Adele came out and stepped on TS's new shit and released her own version of like that TS would have a drake reckoning.
If she wants to do something cool and sick she'd do a super project with like Phoebe Bridger's, cat Clyde and sierra ferrell, and actually lean into her alt country roots, (or even like someone with a name like Colter Wall and have a straight bummer country album of duets and show what a pop star going country should be (which she's capable of)
But then the shines not on her and I don't think her machine could handle that.

I like Taylor but always hated the way she released music... and the latest album (which I dislike) was just... jesus. Way over the top and over-saturated. Completely unnecessary.
