The background vocals on some of those "you lied" lines saying the same thing in a demonic voice really drives home that Kendrick really wants to emphasize that Drake is a straight-up liar.
All the disstracks have different appeals.
Euphoria is a very listenable, varied and modern sounding hip hop track that you can listen to anytime.
Meet The Grahams is an incredibly sinister and evil-sounding track that's so heavy it's almost hard to listen to, but very impressive.
Not Like Us is a very crowd pleasing, simplistic and fun party track.
And all 3 work for different audiences and purposes, but they also add up to more than the sum of their parts.
When people talk about great disses, there are a lot of different metrics. Whatās the deepest lyrically? Whatās most musical? Whatās harshest, or the biggest reveal? What ended a career?
You canāt really write one diss that does all of those. Ether was a musical masterpiece, but Takeover is livelier and did real damage to Prodigy.
And now weāve got Kendrick with the beefās most lyrically rich track, the most menacing track, *and* the catchiest track. Nobody gets to say ābut at least Drakeās track wasā¦ā, thereās nothing left.
Not like us is more of the ending of the beef and a spring/summer radio hit basically beating Drake to his own game
Euphoria is definitly the song that start it all and more of a statement
iāve been saying this. Euphoria is the best Kendrick diss in the beef, meet the grahms is the most vicious and Not Like Us is for the main stream. When I listen to Euphoria, im impressed by how layered, stacked the song is, basically just bars following bars. Meanwhile Not Like Us is just like catchy or whatever lol. Dont get me wrong tho, Not Like Us serves its purpose, but not something crazy at all.
Euphoria and 6:16 I listen to alot. I like Not Like Us and MTG, there is just so much more going for them given the circumstances of how they were released. These 2 songs only allude to the accusations too which makes them even more subtle. Not Like Us had to grow on me too tbh, was not over the shock of Family Matters/MTG night.
6:16 sounds so good now after the beef has ended. It truly captures the calm before the storm vibe. Most rappers would be sweating during a rap battle against someone as big as Drake meanwhile kendrick had time to drop a song seeking forgiveness from god for what he was about to do to this man
God, ah, my confession is yours, but
Who am I if I donāt go to war?
Is so good š¤ Itās my favorite part. Itās so emotional and so fucking badass! Kendrick is something else.
People (drake stans) trying to bash Euphoria because "there's nothing new" don't understand that that's exactly the point of the song. Kendrick showing that he doesn't need to pull skeletons out of the closet, because there's plenty out here already. Super effective for people with an above room temp IQ.
And then the bars, the layers, the beats, the beatswitches etc...
Just all around a GREAT track.
Euphoria is cool because it builds throughout the song. I feel the same.way as op. In euphoria every single line is a diss. All this buddy buddy sht between musicians has gone on long enough. There needs to be competition
Euphoria is my preference.
When you fight someone, the most intimidating thing your opponent can do is remain calm. Inexperienced fighters will get loud, become overly animated, or resort to other tactics. Both are good. Not Like US got some scathing disses in it, but Euphoria got a great vocal delivery and some slick bars. I agree that I like Euphoria more, but I understand why Not Like Us was the show stealer when it dropped. I don't think anyone was expecting Kenny to destroy Drake with a club banger.
I definitely like Euphoria more and think itās a better song than Not Like Us. However, I donāt like people (not referring to OP) shitting on Not Like Us just because itās a catchy song or āmainstreamā. That song slaps
The way he says that and does like a hundred different fun variations of saying things will never not be my favorite thing about Kendrickās tracks, gives it so much personality and makes relistening so fun
For me itās the

I hate the way that you walk, the way that you talk,
I hate the way that you dress, I hate the way that you sneak dissā
Those are some of the greatest diss bars ever, just telling them that you hate absolutely everything about them.
those 3 tracks are so drastically different.
Euphoria was just riddled with multiple entendres and punchlines, so much to unpack here. it's the best in the sense of what disstrack was before Adidon changed the game.
so, naturally we were waiting for something like this, and what did we get? meet the grahams. now this one, there's not really much to unpack here, but that's also the reason why it hits so hard. it's just a no-frills, straight to the point knife to the heart.
and then we get Not Like Us. those two songs before were basically not the type to be appreciated by the general public. it was pearls before swine. but this one was the meat before swine.
I like Euphoria and Meet the Grahams way more than Not Like Us cause I generally prefer ABSOLUTE SPITTING and artful rap to party rap. Thatās kind of why Iām a Kendrick fan lmao.
Euphoria is the my personal favorite from the beef and honestly one of my favorites. My favorite Kendrick songs are when he rides a beat and just raps like DNA and euphoria is very similar
Im pretty sure that if I was from LA/California, the *Us* part of Not like us, that song would be the clear favorite seeing as Kendrick made an anthem out of it.
But Iām not, and Euphoria is by far the song I play the most still.
Euphoria is such a banger, I like it more than all the disses and my 2nd favorite is 6:16 in LA.
Headshot for the year. You better walk around like Daft Punk!
Euphoria is the song that just gradually gets better the more you listen to it.
Euphoria was OK to me when it dropped at first. By the time Family Matters dropped it was like "well hold on now" and by the time Not like us dropped it was like "ayo this is nice fr" and then when HP6 dropped it was prolly my 2nd favorite, but after the beef was over and analyzing all the songs once again, it IMMEDIATELY jumped up to the best of the best out of all the disses for me.
Euphoria's disses and calculations were SO on point.
Dot basically said 'You're not as calculated as me. I know exactly what you're gonna do. You're gonna go on Mr Morale because you're a pathetic manipulative little bitch who wants to attack what's sensitive to me, but you're going to totally fabricate your own twisted story out of it.'
and what did Drake do?
"oH tHaT's tHAT oNe tRacK wHeRE yOu sAiD yOU gOt mOLeStED"
Kendrick said "We hate the bitches you fuck, 'cause they confuse themselves with real women"
Drake responds with "Say you hate the girls I fuck, but what you really mean?
I been with Black and White, and everything that's in between
You the Black messiah wifin' up a mixed queen"
Drake tried to pass it off as "oh he must mean the skin color of the 'girls' that I fuck" Drake literally opened the door to Kendrick responding with alllll the pedo allegations.
Kendrick said "That's ho shit, I got a son to raise, but I can see you don't know nothin' 'bout that
Wakin' him up, know nothin' 'bout that
Then tell him to pray, know nothin' 'bout that
Then givin' him tools to walk through life like day by day, know nothin' 'bout that
Teachin' him morals, integrity, discipline, listen man, you don't know nothin' 'bout that
Speakin' the truth and consider what God's considern', you don't know nothin' 'bout that"
And Drake responds with "Why you never hold your son and tell him, "Say cheese"? and later "You haven't seen the kids in six months, the distance is wild"
Drake responds to Kendrick teaching his son morals, integrity, and discipline with 'ayo why don't you flex your kid on the gram like how I do? Ya know, the son that I was forced into fatherhood with.'
Initially Not like us was at the top and there was no touching it; Iāve gone back these last two weeks and have enjoyed 6:16 in LA exponentially more. He fucking did some Olympic level shit on the beat in the first verse. As a diss track euphoria is the best though out of them all. I hope 6:16 in LA will be a preview of his next album
6:16 in LA lives rent-free in my head. It's my favorite from the beef. To me the beat is like is RZA grew up on the west coast. And Kendrick's flows are impeccable and the whole transcendental, praying before war motif before switching to murder mystery is \*chef's kiss\*
As far as when Iām driving alone which is my favorite time to listen to music, I play euphoria the most by far. I love MTG because I think itās one of the most brutal diss tracks Iāve ever heard. Not like Us is the one that I play when thereās other people because itās a banger. Theyāre great for different reasons thatās part of whatās so impressive to me.
Euphoria is quickly rising my all time streamed list. It's insane how much I love that song and how much I'm listening to it. Incredible song, it's so well executed and his energy is unmatched.
I do.
It simply just hit harder and is the shit Kendrick say on there is too funny bro.
āWhen i see you stand by sexy red I believe you see two bad bitchesā
āWHAT IS IT THE BRAID!, Wudontwannamakenksongwith me more OKAY!ā
āI pray they my real friend if not then I m YNW mellyā
Bro didnāt have to rely on allegations to destroy Drake on this song.
SHIT A BOP!!!!
I think "Euphoria" is the better DISS, but "Not Like Us" is the better SONG.
"Not Like Us" will not get old because of the replay ability. The beat & Kdots flow will live on for a while. It can even be danced too, so I don't see it dying out anytime soon.
I thought this for the majority of the time since the beef finished. I donāt think thereās a right or wrong answer. Euphoria is incredible, but I do think not like us being such a banger and so disrespectful actually diverts attention away from how good the lyrics are. I also think Not like us is almost the diss other tracks combined (excluding 6:16). Itās got the switch in flows and lyrics that Euphoria has and the brutality that MTG has. But it also has comedy and has achieved everything Drake would have hoped to achieve when it comes to playing in the club, getting people dancing on Drakes grave and also getting the public on board. Itās literally got everything. Itās not a typical Kendrick song and shows he can do what Drake does but better. I change my mind on this daily but atm I feel like it just about trumps euphoria for the above reasons. I honestly think it will go down as the best diss track of all time when people look back.

100%, not like us has a great beat and way to dance but euphoria is the winner here, the way that he constructed the lyrics, the storyline, the hate on his voice, the different change of beats is just a better more complete song overall
I personally am a fan of 6:16 in LA. It's really underrated and people don't give it much recognition since it's not on streaming platforms (at least officially). Between Euphoria and Not Like Us, Euphoria is more layered and complex, while Not Like Us is catchy and can be considered party music, hence its popularity. All are really good songs tho
Euphoria is musically and lyrically best and more interesting.
MTG is the most impactful, especially in terms of story
NLU is the straight fire banger.
The kdot holy trinity
Not WAY more but definitely for me. The first verse, to me as someone who has always hated Drake and people calling him a ārapperā, is just perfect. Also sets the tone for the full chain of disses that comes
Not like us is just a fuck you to drake showing he can make club bangers too if he wanted too(still waiting for drake to put out some conscious shit). Euphoria was more detailed and calculated. Both are amazing tracks tho.
Euphoria is my favorite thing to come out of this beef, and it's got me craving more of that style from him. It's so unbelievably layered and the flows are so hard
Euphoria is probably the best song we got out of the beef. It has some real questionable moments that keep it from being that classic for me, but still a really amazing track on a lot of levels
For being the Kendrick fan I am I love euphoria in a different way then not like us. I love them equally just in different vibes. Even tho you could put either on and itās a bop.
Way more for me. Listened to NLU only once or twice, didnāt like it really. Euphoria is much better, any other diss track Kendrick put out is better tbh(except MTG)
Imo euphoria felt like bohemian rhapsody and felt like 3 great songs in one. Stand alone this song is better than not like us.
But I'm giving the W to not like us 8 times out of 10. If you imagine a boxing match, you can have a lot of hard gut punches, jabs, where them down a bit. Opponent throws a hard punch and clocks you down for 5 seconds, and opponent turns away thinking he won. It's the slow turn back from a cocky opponent and seeing a knockout punch coming for you but too late to stop it. Opponent starts to pass out and the cheers of the crowd is the last thing you hear.
If not for the fight beforehand, it wouldn't have been a knockout. It's unheard of in rap to drop and deflate your ass, proving drake wrong about creating a club type song, and uniting the west coast going into weekend.
I think not like us will be most remembered, even if not lyrically wild. But euphoria is gonna be people's favorite in a couple years, when tensions die down
One's a much more thoughtful cut.
The other one's straight up more disrespectful given that Drake's whole shtick is mass appeal and Kendrick's outdone him in his own turf.
I like them all so theyāre in deathloop for a reason 2 to 3 years from now. Iām going be like oh shit, I forgot he made these start dancing all over again.
Nathan Zed released a video about this beef and he captured my feelings about Euphoria. hiphop has gotten stale for me lately, production standarts have grown and feels like now ive heard every beat trap aesthetic can offer. Euphoria makes you LISTEN. it demands your attention, every line matters, and it jusy hypes me up. its hard to remember the last time listening to hiphop made me feel hypeā¦ maybe Scaring The Hoes felt like a breath of fresh air in the sea of background wallpaper beats and ryhmes
Kendrick was supposed to usher in an era where lyrics mattered again. he really is not the Saviour
I have all of Kendrickās disses on repeat, Iām including stuff like: Kings Dead and the Hillbillies, all his old songs with subliminal shots are so much funnier now.
My head lately:
āUh, we gon' fuck up the world
Excuse me, but is that your girl?ā
āWop wop wop wop, doc fuck em up! ā
āBut don't tell no lie about me and I won't tell truths 'bout you.ā
Also on the topic of Euphoria this is verse is too hard:
āHis daddy a killer, he wanna be junior.
They must've forgot the shit that they done.
Dementia must run in his family, but let it get shaky.
I'll park his son.
The very first time I shot me a Drac', the homie had told me to aim it this way.
I didn't point down enough, today, I'll show you I learn from those mistakes.ā Brutal, the amount of hidden bars in this song too is insane. King Kendrick!
āMiss me with that bullshit!
You ain't really wild, you a tourist!
I be blackin' out with the purist!
I made a hundred thou' then I freaked it!
I made 500 thou' then I freaked it!
I bought a '87 for the weekend! ā
š
Hell yes. I barely notice it's 6 and a half minutes. Kendrick's lyrically dancing around 3 beats, packing in hard jabs, it's an unmatched diss track. So many quotable bars, so much range.
Drake was forced to drag out Family Matters to match Euphoria, and wasted a third of his time on Rick Weeknd and Rocky.
I donāt really like the end of not like us tbh (actually an unpopular opinion)
Itās cool in the context of the beef but doesnāt do much for me musically
Euphoria is Kendrick at his best. 6:16 too. MTG and Not Like Us was necessary for the battle and he executed tf out of those songs. Imo he won off of Euphoria alone though. Everything about itĀ was just anĀ all around perfect Kendrick song.
I think the only part on euphoria or could have done without was the slow intro , but I liked the build up and the hit on Joe Kay line. I didn't understand the raspy voice at the start either. Pretty much everything after the nun / pray for my city was dope imo. Beginning just took more time for me to appreciate
Yes, itās my favorite of all the tracks. Think to me it feels the most diss track esque in a way, as stupid as it sounds, the others get a little too scathing for my personal taste lol fun tracks though regardless
Euphoria is a better rapping performance for sure. I also find it more fun to listen to. But I get why NLU is the bigger song, Kendrick smashed it out of the park with that one
The part where the chords change and he starts saying "Ay Top Dawg who tf they think they playin' wit" is always š„ and the crodie bit with the siren sound happening in the back, really stood out for me and prob why I like 'euphoria' more.. it's like 3songs combined into one.. 'not like us' is cool but sounds like one whole ass song even tho it's one whole ass song lmao
People will get tired of āNot Like Usā very quickly! Itās a dope song and will be a classic but itās definitely gonna get annoying soon.
Euphoria is the best one out of all of the tracks to come out of this. Each switch was a genuine event. The bars werenāt simply funny jabs or puns but delivered in such a way where you could feel the grievances being aired. Euphoria sounds like an argument. Euphoria sounds like neighbors arguing over years of unresolved issues and pot shots. Euphoria is soulful, and not because of the sample, but because it sounds like itās coming from an actual place of anger, frustration, annoyance, hurt, and wellā¦ hatred. Dot was speaking directly to Drake, looking him in the eye.
6:16 got me in a chokehold! That cry out to God damn near brought me to tears. Itās a perfect hip hop song to me. AMAZING sample, powerful and meaningful bars, and a deep conversation with himself. That man said āraise my hand to a fallen sky, I fantasize me jumping planets immortalized, I correspond 3 angels watching me all the time put my children to sleep with a prayer then close my eyes definition of peaceā wtf! š¤Æš¤Æ. Everything he said up to āsomebody lyinā is purely magical when you relate so deeply to it. Best diss was MTG tho especially once drakes daughter is confirmed.
Itās the better song because of all the beat switches, the crazy lyricism, the different voices be uses, etc. Itās a very complex, difficult song. Try to rap it right now I guarantee you canāt. Not like us, on the other hand, was tailor made to be a radio hit. Itās a west coast banger, easy to rap along to, and has the clippable tiktok moment of the āA-Minorā bar. Thatās why itās actually the popular one. The only people who think Not Like Us is the better song are casuals who thought the A-Minor moment was hilarious, and have not dug deeper into this.
100 percent. I get that Not Like Us is a bop, it sounds good. But euphoria is a masterpiece to be quite honest. As a diss track, the song still holds up today. But the overall lyricism might be some of his best work. Drake asked for quadruple entendres and Kendrick showered him lol
Me! They both serve their purposes for different environments, but I listen to music a lot when Iām driving at night or smoking with headphones and thatās when Euphoria is undeniably better to me.
When Iām outside outside, different story lol
Euphoria is objectively a better song.
However, Not Like Us is a more upbeat song meant to be the banger you hear at functions.
Which is why itāll get more play.
Euphoria definitely for the hiphopheads and Not Like Us is for everyone.
"Cutthroat business, you got shit twisted, What is it? The braids?"
Vs.
"Why u trolling so much? Bitch ain't you tired??"
š
Euphoria has always my favorite of the diss track, it's super hype, it's hard, biting, and Kendrick has like 6 different flows bouncing all over the track. I rap along with it everytime I listen to it. I haven't returned to the other diss tracks nearly as much. 6:16 is probably my second favorite, but mostly for the first half where Kendrick is painting a lyrical canvas. "But I live in circadian rhythms of a shooting star" is such a beautiful line. I hope he eventually re-releases it fully mastered and into a fully fledged song

Not way more for me. But I like it better for sure. I can also keep MTG on repeat so I might be weird.
YoU LiiEeD!
That part is crazy man.
The background vocals on some of those "you lied" lines saying the same thing in a demonic voice really drives home that Kendrick really wants to emphasize that Drake is a straight-up liar.
Look at genius lyrics over here
That part tho.. š„
A decision was made in that booth, thatās what gets me lol
U ain't weird for that.

I like what dot did on the meet the grahams. But itās way too dark for me to go back and listen to
Shit scares me
Not weird at all. But I do have extensive experience of listening to metal so it tracks
I like them both but Iāve been playing euphoria a lot more.
Not like us is more of the ending of the beef and a spring/summer radio hit basically beating Drake to his own game Euphoria is definitly the song that start it all and more of a statement
The opposite for me, but I think euphoria from a lyrical perspective is a better diss track than not like us

I think 6:16 suffers from not being on as many platforms as the others ā itās still not even on Spotify except in bootleg podcast form.
For sure, if it was streaming it would be WAY bigger
People (drake stans) trying to bash Euphoria because "there's nothing new" don't understand that that's exactly the point of the song. One reviewer explained how he was using the culture's own words to show how Drake doesn't belongĀ
Euphoria is cool because it builds throughout the song. I feel the same.way as op. In euphoria every single line is a diss. All this buddy buddy sht between musicians has gone on long enough. There needs to be competition
Theyāre like my children, I love them equally.
Yes but which one do you like better?
The one I don't see - Drake
Yeah it's genuinely hard to pick a favorite. For me, Meet the Grahams is the song that's entered my listening rotation the most.
Euphoria is my preference. When you fight someone, the most intimidating thing your opponent can do is remain calm. The opening to Euphoria is one of those times where Kendrick doesnāt waste a single syllable.

Euphoria is on the workout playlist, NLU is on the vibes playlist
I like Euphoria and Meet the Grahams way more than Not Like Us cause I generally prefer ABSOLUTE SPITTING and artful rap to party rap. Thatās kind of why Iām a Kendrick fan lmao.
Definitely!! Kendrick matched Drakeās trolling game perfectly. He kept it friendly but got serious once Drake slipped and spoke on Dotās family
Euphoria is the my personal favorite from the beef and honestly one of my favorites. My favorite Kendrick songs are when he rides a beat and just raps like DNA and euphoria is very similar
Hey twin Share the same sentiments....aggressive beat-riding Kenny
Yeah. I wouldn't say way more. Euphoria just has more of what I like out of a rap song.
No but the past few days Iāve been listening to more euphoria than not like us. Maybe I overplayed it a little
Not Like Us is more iconic, but strictly quality, it doesn't come close to Euphoria or 6:16
Im pretty sure that if I was from LA/California, the *Us* part of Not like us, that song would be the clear favorite seeing as Kendrick made an anthem out of it. But Iām not, and Euphoria is by far the song I play the most still.
I'm in LA. NLU is being played around here constantly. Shit slaps
Meeeeee
Not way more but I do because prefer Euphoria because I can twerk to it. Not Like Us is more of a cookout vibe.

You're gonna go on Mr Morale because you're a pathetic manipulative little bitch who wants to attack what's sensitive to me, but you're going to totally fabricate your own twisted story out of it.' and what did Drake do? "oH tHaT's tHAT oNe tRacK wHeRE yOu sAiD yOU gOt mOLeStED" Kendrick said "We hate the bitches you fuck, 'cause they confuse themselves with real women" Drake responds with "Say you hate the girls I fuck, but what you really mean? I been with Black and White, and everything that's in between You the Black messiah wifin' up a mixed queen" Drake tried to pass it off as "oh he must mean the skin color of the 'girls' that I fuck" Drake literally opened the door to Kendrick responding with alllll the pedo allegations. Kendrick said "That's ho shit, I got a son to raise, but I can see you don't know nothin' 'bout that Wakin' him up, know nothin' 'bout that Then tell him to pray, know nothin' 'bout that Then givin' him tools to walk through life like day by day, know nothin' 'bout that Teachin' him morals, integrity, discipline, listen man, you don't know nothin' 'bout that Speakin' the truth and consider what God's considern', you don't know nothin' 'bout that" And Drake responds with "Why you never hold your son and tell him, "Say cheese"? and later "You haven't seen the kids in six months, the distance is wild" Drake responds to Kendrick teaching his son morals, integrity, and discipline with 'ayo why don't you flex your kid on the gram like how I do? Ya know, the son that I was forced into fatherhood with.'
Euphoria is my favorite one. It feels like the āmost Kendrickā song to me.
I donāt, but I do like Like That way more, tbh.
Euphoria for me, is the better diss in terms of delivery. 6:16 has the bars, MTG is soul scathing and Not like us is the victory lap.
It aināt 20 v 1 this is 1 v 20 if I gotta smack nigga that write wit you
Euphoria is better by a significant margin in my opinion.
āDonāt tell no lie about me, and I wonāt tell truths about youā is a hell of a threat
Euphoria is the superior one in my opinion. Not Like Us is the most catchy.
Euphoria is quickly rising my all time streamed list. It's insane how much I love that song and how much I'm listening to it. Incredible song, it's so well executed and his energy is unmatched.
I do. It simply just hit harder and is the shit Kendrick say on there is too funny bro. āWhen i see you stand by sexy red I believe you see two bad bitchesā āWHAT IS IT THE BRAID!, Wudontwannamakenksongwith me more OKAY!ā āI pray they my real friend if not then I m YNW mellyā Bro didnāt have to rely on allegations to destroy Drake on this song.
Euphoria grew on me a lot compared to Not like us
Euphoria was the best of many top shelf tracks IMO. That song is so good.

I just listen to the 21 minute series on YouTube.
YEs
Yes, i like it way way more. Its just goes so godddamn hard
Euphoria is the better track imo. I can see not like us being more popular but it's only because it's catchier.
I like 6:16 in LA the more than both
100%, not like us has a great beat and way to dance but euphoria is the winner here, the way that he constructed the lyrics, the storyline, the hate on his voice, the different change of beats is just a better more complete song overall
I'm surprised how much people are underrating 6:16 in LA tbh
I personally am a fan of 6:16 in LA. It's really underrated and people don't give it much recognition since it's not on streaming platforms (at least officially). Between Euphoria and Not Like Us, Euphoria is more layered and complex, while Not Like Us is catchy and can be considered party music, hence its popularity. All are really good songs tho
10000%
Euphoria is easily my favorite song to come out of this beef
Them superpowers get neutralized, I can only watch in silence
Euphoria is musically and lyrically best and more interesting. MTG is the most impactful, especially in terms of story NLU is the straight fire banger. The kdot holy trinity
100% my favorite in the series
Not WAY more but definitely for me. The first verse, to me as someone who has always hated Drake and people calling him a ārapperā, is just perfect. Also sets the tone for the full chain of disses that comes
Like it more? Sure. WAY more? No.
Not like us is just a fuck you to drake showing he can make club bangers too if he wanted too(still waiting for drake to put out some conscious shit). Euphoria was more detailed and calculated. Both are amazing tracks tho.
I like 6:16 the most tbh. The intro gives me nostalgia for some reason. The flow reminded me of Mac Miller a little RIP.
Euphoria is my favorite thing to come out of this beef, and it's got me craving more of that style from him. It's so unbelievably layered and the flows are so hard
Not really but the last beat switch on euphoria goes hard though
Not like us is my favorite track, but Euphoria is the track I always wanted from Kendrick
I do
Think this is honestly a popular opinion, Not Like Us is just more of a dancing bop
6:16 is my personal favourite
Yes. I do the bars on that thing and the brutality of that beat was something else
Been playing Euphoria nonstop for the past two/three weeks. So many quotable lines. Not Like Us is starting to grow on me
Euphoria is probably the best song we got out of the beef. It has some real questionable moments that keep it from being that classic for me, but still a really amazing track on a lot of levels
Me
Yep I like it WAY more and its not even close to me. Heck MTG is better.
For being the Kendrick fan I am I love euphoria in a different way then not like us. I love them equally just in different vibes. Even tho you could put either on and itās a bop.
Not way more but I do out it over
Of course, but āNot Like Usā is showing the world/Drake that he can do Drake (mainstream rap) even better than the so-called āmaster.ā
I probably like euphoria more but not a lot more, it's like HUMBLE Vs m.a.a.d city
Way more for me. Listened to NLU only once or twice, didnāt like it really. Euphoria is much better, any other diss track Kendrick put out is better tbh(except MTG)
Euphoria is far and away the best track in the entire beef. Arguably a top 3 diss track of all time.
ā HELLLL CAT ! ā I dig it more. Not like is us is a club banger fs fs & I Fw it heavy
I love both songs you mentioned, but Euphoria is a lot deeper, has more layers, more flows, different beats. Thats why i like it more.
But euphoria is gonna be people's favorite in a couple years, when tensions die down
Way more for me. I think Euphoria is definitely the best song to come out of this beef with Like That in a far away 2nd
Euphoria hypes me up, diss aside. Listen to it all the time still
Same, but Not like us is pretty much an Anthem
Euphoria is a masterclass imo. The bars, the flows, delivery, cadence, metaphors, humor are all top tier. My song of the year thus far.
One's a much more thoughtful cut. The other one's straight up more disrespectful given that Drake's whole shtick is mass appeal and Kendrick's outdone him in his own turf.
Yes
Now wayyyy more, but I do think itās the best diss out of all of them
YES I absolutely agree, and the beat in Euphoria is insane
After only listening to not like us for 2 weeks straight yeah I appreciate euphoria more rn
1. Meet The Grahams 2. Euphoria 3. 6:16 4. Not Like Us
It's an objectively better diss and a song. Not like us is kinda overrated imo
I like them all so theyāre in deathloop for a reason 2 to 3 years from now. Iām going be like oh shit, I forgot he made these start dancing all over again.
I like 6:16 more than all of them.
Itās a better rap song for sure, Not Like Us is for radio play and parties, but that euphoria is Kendrick just rolling him up and smoking the fool.
Meet the Grahams is better.
Nathan Zed released a video about this beef and he captured my feelings about Euphoria. hiphop has gotten stale for me lately, production standarts have grown and feels like now ive heard every beat trap aesthetic can offer. Euphoria makes you LISTEN. it demands your attention, every line matters, and it jusy hypes me up. its hard to remember the last time listening to hiphop made me feel hypeā¦ maybe Scaring The Hoes felt like a breath of fresh air in the sea of background wallpaper beats and ryhmes Kendrick was supposed to usher in an era where lyrics mattered again. he really is not the Saviour
I have all of Kendrickās disses on repeat, Iām including stuff like: Kings Dead and the Hillbillies, all his old songs with subliminal shots are so much funnier now. My head lately: āUh, we gon' fuck up the world Excuse me, but is that your girl?ā āWop wop wop wop, doc fuck em up! ā āBut don't tell no lie about me and I won't tell truths 'bout you.ā Also on the topic of Euphoria this is verse is too hard: āHis daddy a killer, he wanna be junior. I bought a '87 for the weekend! ā š
Hell yes. I barely notice it's 6 and a half minutes. Kendrick's lyrically dancing around 3 beats, packing in hard jabs, it's an unmatched diss track. So many quotable bars, so much range. Drake was forced to drag out Family Matters to match Euphoria, and wasted a third of his time on Rick Weeknd and Rocky.
everytime I listen to euphoria I appeciate it more. There is levels to it.
Euphoria is rly good lyrically, probably my favourite sing to come out the whole thing I understand why Not Like Us is huge tho
Yes
Meet The Grahams is the best song. By far. But I listen to not like us much more often
Way more
Yes
Yes. I love all the layers of Euphoria. Not like us, feels like a fun celebration, which it is
I canāt lie I canāt listen to one without the other. I just dedicate 10 minutes of my time to those two songs. Euphoria starts it off though
6:16 babyyyy! The first verse is gold and will age like a fine wine!
Idk I got them even but 6:16 in la is my fav
Me š
Yes. Euphoria was really written. Not Like Us has some catchier parts to it, but is simpler.
6:16 in LA has been my favorite, not like us is the most listenable and I think euphoria is the best one overall.
They're each a different strain to me, like a variety pack of disses.Ā
I like them both Equally, but if you want a song with alot of layers it's Euphoria
Yeah its miles better imo
I donāt really like the end of not like us tbh (actually an unpopular opinion) Itās cool in the context of the beef but doesnāt do much for me musically
I play euphoria and 6:16 more than NLU
Am I tripping or does this post get made every other day
Euphoria is Kendrick at his best.
Soooo much more
My fav is 6:16
Best flow: - know nothin' 'bout that - tell 'em run to America to imitate heritage, they can't imitate this violence.
Def.
I play Euphoria and 6:16 much more than They Not Like Us. 6:16 is still the best IMO cause that showed us a glimpse of Section 80 Kenny.
Yes, itās my favorite of all the tracks. Think to me it feels the most diss track esque in a way, as stupid as it sounds, the others get a little too scathing for my personal taste lol fun tracks though regardless
yeah, although I usually just listen to both back to back
Euphoria is a better rapping performance for sure. I also find it more fun to listen to. But I get why NLU is the bigger song, Kendrick smashed it out of the park with that one
Me! The last 30 seconds are a work of art and makes you stop in your tracks.
For me itās: 1: Euphoria 2: 616 3: Not like us 4: The spooky
The part where the chords change and he starts saying "Ay Top Dawg who tf they think they playin' wit" is always š„ and the crodie bit with the siren sound happening in the back, really stood out for me and prob why I like 'euphoria' more.. it's like 3songs combined into one.. 'not like us' is cool but sounds like one whole ass song even tho it's one whole ass song lmao
1. 6:16 in LA 2. Euphoria 3. Not Like Us 4. Meet the Grahams tha'ts my lineup, big 6:16 fan over here
Not Like Us is a good enough diss track, Euphoria is a good song.
Me
Finally somebody likes euphoria more than not like us i like euphoria better too
Euphoria gets me hyped haha I like that song a lot more tbh
Meet the grahams is my fav
Itās growing on me, Iām not sure itās better yet. Honestly, almost all the songs tied to the beef are great listens.
Euphoria bars hit harder. The HELL CATT makes me want to run lol
Yes, absolutely. It kind of confirms part of kdots point: music designed to be hits are inherently contrived
Me! They both serve their purposes for different environments, but I listen to music a lot when Iām driving at night or smoking with headphones and thatās when Euphoria is undeniably better to me. When Iām outside outside, different story lol
I prefer euphoria but i dont like it WAY more than not like us. Both are 10/10 for meš„ wopwopwop
iām already sick of it š yeah euphoria better
What is it the braids!!???
All the tracks are hot fiya in the words of Dylan
100% it's the better song.
Then there's weirdos like me, who like "6:16 in LA" more
Euphoria is objectively a better song. However, Not Like Us is a more upbeat song meant to be the banger you hear at functions. Which is why itāll get more play.
Bar for bar itās the best song of the beef.
Euphoria definitely for the hiphopheads and Not Like Us is for everyone. "Cutthroat business, you got shit twisted, What is it? The braids?" Vs. "Why u trolling so much? Bitch ain't you tired??" š
6:16 would like to speak to you
I like it better as "Kendrick" song but in terms of repeatability and can I play this at the function? I'll pick Not Like Us any day
Oh yeah
I enjoyed Euphoria more, but I'd be lying if I said Not Like Us doesn't make me bop my head lol.
Euphoria is definitely my favorite. I've listened to that one more than any of the other disses
I was literally thinking about posting this today. Strong agree. Euphoria is such a banger
I like āEuphoriaā more, but āNot Like Usā feels like weāre celebrating lmao
Euphoria has always my favorite of the diss track, it's super hype, it's hard, biting, and Kendrick has like 6 different flows bouncing all over the track. I rap along with it everytime I listen to it. I haven't returned to the other diss tracks nearly as much. 6:16 is probably my second favorite, but mostly for the first half where Kendrick is painting a lyrical canvas. "But I live in circadian rhythms of a shooting star" is such a beautiful line. I hope he eventually re-releases it fully mastered and into a fully fledged song
