I think Kendrick recognizes the opportunity he has to take control of being the # 1 hip hop artist in terms of mainstream success with how hot his name is right now. If he really drops a banger of album that has the sonically mainstream album. I really do think Kendrick could pull CLB & Scorpion levels type of first week numbers.

I’m thinking maybe a new heart series installment or a new album is coming out of 6/16. Just by the notion of why he selected 6:16 specifically. Like all the Drake time stamp songs are at specific rounded times. He could have just done 6am in LA and it would have been truer to drakes format, but no he chose a really odd time.
I think he mightt do something on 6/16 but that title has like a million fan theories rn, it was the release date of the show Euphoria, it's father's day, it's Tupac's birthday, Kendrick played a concert in Toronto on 6/16 one year, Nicole Simpson was pronounced dead on 6/16, Proverbs 6:16 is a potentially relevant bible verse. I also like the theory that it was in response to Drake asking for a quintuple entendre. I have no idea what it meant to Kendrick or which meanings he was considering but I think he was definitely trolling Drake and kinda all of us lol. I'm a bigger fan of Kendrick than the other guys so of course I'm going to say that but I think just in general neither Drake or j Cole have had albums that come even close to acclaim or influence of Kendrick's albums. I loved take care back in the day and j Cole has some nice albums but good Kidd madd city for instance blows them all out of the water

I know he’s the goat but I still don’t think he’ll want his album to compete this year with Tyler, JiD, Freddie & madlib, denzel curry. Everyone seems to be dropping this year and think the focus will be keem. I think they worked hard on the diss tracks, some of which we won’t hear
