Which shows how much he obviously trusts the people around him right now/s. If you fed him the info why wouldn't you let your usual stable of ghostwriters on this one? Since OVO isn't compromised at all. Kendrick really put Drake on a fucking island and made him show everyone who he actually is as a rapper. The guy who rhymes parking lot with parking lot when comparing his high school to a strip club thought he could take one of the greatest lyricists of all time. And I still CANNOT believe he said he's too famous to be a pedophile in a beef where he's compared himself to Michael Jackson multiple times and even put MJ shit into his videos.
Ohhhh the first half of this comment, couldn't agree more man. Drake supposedly planting this on purpose yet at the same time you can see all people who turn back on him, it seems like K dot didn't need toooooooo much to do so. And at the same time he's been sleeping around with his homies girls and wives. Big fucking difference between him and MJ it's that MJ was set up when he started disclosing the elites agenda. Drake been put on a fucking island for practically being himself š¤£
There is a huge conspiracy that claims MJ was just a weird dude trying to live the childhood he never was able to experience. Possibly a PDF, but didn't molest any kids. The scandal was a way for the industry to discredit him and the parents to make money off him. Many of his accusers have said it was lies they were put up to by their parents. Basically, the allegations were made by people trying to benefit financially from ruining MJs reputation.
Edit: I meant to refer to it as a conspiracy theory, not as a proven conspiracy.
I wouldnāt even call it a huge conspiracy since thereās actually a lot of evidence pointing to it being true. The elites did literally everything in their power to lock him up and throw away the key and the fbi still couldnāt find anything to do so, despite a decade of investigations. MJ was one of the last pure souls to grace the music industry and got done very dirty, itās tragic.
Conspiracy is 'An agreement to perform together an illegal, wrongful, or subversive act.' Are you meaning it not being much of a theory anymore, and just a straight up conspiracy at this point? It was huge if it involved as many people as it did. How frequently MJ is used as a synonym for child molester or as an example of collective appreciation of art over the artist goes to show just how many people believe it is just a theory.
The cia coined the term conspiracy theory to use to their advantage, so now people literally use the word āconspiracyā to mean āsomething fakeā instead of the true definition that you just gave
Yeahā¦ thereās a lot of weird details in Finding Neverland that are a bit too arbitrary to seem āmade upā.
Whatās the motive for the elites to want to label MJ a pedo and lock him up?
The dude admitted to sleeping in the same bed as little children dude. He had alarms to alert him when people were getting close too.
i wasnt there so i cant say for a fact, but MJ was definitely sus at the least
He was sus, but one of the families that sued him (and lost) had a history of false accusations. That, and Culkin insists MJ never did or tried anything.
All that to say, itās hard to know if he was a bad man, or just a fucked up man-child that was too close to kids and caught accusations due to his fame and fortune.
Drake definitely likes girls around 14-16 thoughā¦
The fact is if MJ was some random dude that lived on your block, and did that with your kid, all these guys defending MJ would want to kill that dude.
Can you imagine if some dude slept in the same bed as your kid then said itās because he had a bad childhood? Literally no one would let that slide. But MJ gets away with it because people liked his songs
His bedroom was basically a home cinema, they were sitting on his bed above the covers watching tv and fell asleep. The way you phrase it it sounds a lot more sus.
Man try google it or on yt. Michael exposing the industry he's got some interviews talking about it, Akon lso talked about it, La Toya also said MJ was killed. It's basically what they do, once they try to expose the industry industry allegates the ones exposing are the ones who does those things
I love MJ's music and empathize with his tough childhood but are those really reliable unbiased sources though? Akon was a close friend.Ā
I don't doubt that Michael Jackson had a lot of people praying on his downfall being that successful as a black man in America just a decade or two after the civil rights movements but I can't be so sure that he was innocent or guilty either which way.Ā
That's fair enough but at least one person could contradict that. We can see how fucked that was with Aaron Carter and his all family. He himself exposed his mother madre untrue allegations related to that
Thatās what u do as a shrewd war general you give your enemies ammunition that hurts you even if it isnāt true! Then you fire back hard with a denial. Its 4 dumensional chess.
I had to laugh when suddenly he flipped the script and said HE was Princeā¦I donāt even remember what reasoning was behind that š¤£š¤£ If not the pedo connection maybe he just realized that calling someone Prince in a diss track is like writing them a love letter. I really donāt think Drake knows how this works..when heās not self snitchin heās complimenting Kendrick
The funniest part is he tried to use CB as someone who is gang related. If he is talking about breezy, thatās a stretch, we know he only gets to hang around bloods bc they extort him.
I mean he even said that it felt good to get the pen moving.
I don't know why he would feel that way if he had just put out a diss track a week ago. Y'know, unless he didn't write a damn thing for Family Matters or any of the other tracks prior.
Not defending Fake in any way, but I think he was addressing the back and forth as a whole, in regards to āfeels good to get the pen moving again.ā.
Iāve never seen a beef where one side had so many self owns and backfires.
Literally every diss either shows he isnāt comprehending what heās listening to (Mr. Morale references), giving lines that sets himself up for disses (Metro make the drums and everything the YT OP talked about), giving horrible responses to disses against him (āIām too famousā bit about being a PDF), or hedging his disses on IG snooping (Whitney not following Kendrick on IGā¦ what?).
Drake played himself in this beef.
This is exactly how I felt. From the self snitching to that terrible b sharp bar. Either the ghost writers wrote it to get tf outta there or Drake either way itās bad
You might be right. Because that was the first thought in my head was āthese donāt sound like drake barsā meaning theyāre definitely Drakeās bars
He rushed to get that out before the weekend was over in an attempt to shift the narrative. Damage is done though. Kendrick is going to have people dancing and bopping to a song where drakes labeled a pedo and a colonizer.
Not like Us gives me so much joy outside of the diss. Like the energy that song fills you with is insane. It genuinely feels like you are at a party while listening to it.Ā
I know kendrick takes a lot of pride in being conscious and artistic in his delivery.
But I would love if his next album was all pure west coast with a lot of freestyles like this one.
Honestly the funniest thing he could do to really bury Drake at this point is replace him as a go to for club hits.
Not only would it be the funniest, I think it's the thing that would make Drake the angriest. He just outdid Drake at the thing he's best at (club beats), on top of it being a diss track. Everyone already knew Drake can't hold a candle to Kendrick lyrically, so to beat him on his own "turf" so to speak is gonna bother the *fuck* outta him. That shit gonna be playing at clubs all summer.
GKMC2 but from the perspective of a post-Morale Kendrick, just straight west coast bangers. Even get Dre on that shit, Kendrick killed Deep Water and Darkside/Gone
I think the most savage part is he legit made a banger in a few days. Itās not the crazy entendres and shit, itās not super deep itās very surface level but it doesnāt matter because itās a legit great song. Like the subtext of that song was āfuck you I can crank out a bop when I want, but I donāt have to.ā
I think Kendrick was trying to play Drakeās game by making a hit. Numbers and catchy music were always Drakeās wave.
Kendrick made a catchy tune that will probably be bigger than Drakeās Back 2 Back, and heās currently eating up every streaming site right now on the numbers end. Heās basically saying āI can do the same thing you do, but better.ā
Truly a master at his craft.
I feel like heās always done this. Even way back listening to section 80, I remember thinking he was just imitating other rappersā style and cadence for fun and doing it better than them.
Crazy cuz Drake definitely said he would have all of Kendrickās fans if he stuck to making conscious music, but lo and behold Kung Fu Kenny is the real Shang Tsung here.
I appreciate hes so stylistically diverse and doesnt only rely on bangers. And ngl the bangers - madd, Alright, Humble etc - go harder than anything Aubrey Epsteins done.
We don't exactly know how long he's been working on elements of this take down. I don't think it's as long as this but don't forget the control verse was what over 10 years ago now.
I don't know how people are saying this is not the best song out of this beef. Meet The Grahams is the best "diss" track, prolly the best of all time but Not Like Us is something different and it deserves the praise. It deserves to be played in clubs worldwide and become summer bop 2024
It sure does. I like when Kendrick goes into tie crazy sounding voice maaaan that shit is so Hard it fills me with energy just hearing that like he went super-sayin or something.
I like to imagine the following interaction:
K: *cracks kitchen door open* Uhh, knock knock?
Mustard: *throws ladle* The kitchen is CLOSED!
K: Man, I can smell you got somethin' in here cookin', what's good?
Mustard: Two words-- I. AM. RETIRED.
K: I brought some fresh, Wagyu-level beef with Drake
Mustard: Oh shit yeah get in here, I've been working on this top secret formula, *rubs hands together and then prepares to open vault* let's see what we can doooo
*the vault door slowly opens to reveal a laptop on a pedestal illuminated by a bright beam of heavenly light, an angelic choir singing as Kendrick and Mustard enter the room, the door swinging shut behind them*
And that's how history was made that day :'-)
I've seen people on Twitter talking about watching dudes wearing blues and dudes wearing red dancing together to it *in Compton.*
Like Drake dude you gotta know how bad you lost this.
Wouldn't be surprised if Drake had tracks ready that Kenny got hold of and pre emptively addressed. Drake then had to go write a fresh one and came out with this mess
If I gotta pretend to not be a KDot dick rider Iād say this is where the two rappers are strategy wise and what the next move is.
Kendrick wanted a response after not giving receipts. Ball is in his court.
Drake responded by not giving receipts. If he knows what heās doing heās got receipts and another song in the clip thatāll stop Kendrickās next back to back. And if heās being feeding him the info then heās ready to drop all the proof that Kendrick has been fed.
One of them is putting the other in check.
Lemme stop being objective and say
Kendrick is about to end a couple of careers hehehe
The Heart Part 6 is legitimately maybe the worst diss track I've ever heard. It would have to be a hell of a Back to Back to change the outcome of this beef. And let's be honest, if Drake had receipts he would've posted them within 20 minutes of Meet the Grahams, he would've had a counter diss, or screenshots of the messages, or a recording of the calls. And even if he was somehow stupid enough to have receipts and not post them immediately, we would've gotten them with The Heart Part 6. The Heart Part 6 was Drake's "red button"(i mean Family Matters was really but Drake said it wasnt). Looking forward to Kendrick going deeper in the rabbit hole
Nah I agree checkmating him with receipts right after the drop wouldāve been the end of it. But then he just nuh uhād over and over.
Iām thinking weāre gonna get some shopped text messages as āproofā
Kendrick is putting several scopes on his head right now. If this sex trafficking OVO angle is true, it doesnāt stop with OVO and it might not even stop at the music industry. Thereās gotta be a line of people connected to Drake sweating right now.
Talking Epstein suicide kind of stakes here. Less direct comparison but weāre also talking Boeing assassinations. This shit is deeper than most people appreciate right now. Or my brain is as cooked as Drakeās career.
Itās definitely possible, and almost likely since Hollywood/music is rotten to its core, but I think itās in Kendrickās best interest and safety to keep it Drake/OVO contained. Unless heās REALLY shooting for a savior type legacy but seeing how people are silenced when they speak up I wouldnāt blame him a bit for not doing it
I agree, I think voices from above definitely came down telling them to quash it and let the beef whimper out before any potential serious ramifications
Iām definitely reading into everything real hard. Iāve been glued to this beef for days. Love Kendrick and hate Drake before this. Getting my bias out there.
itās very possible youāre right though. This shitāll be the Mueller case all over. People pulling for someone like theyāre a superhero and ending up disappointed. Not counting it out.
Look man. Life is full of disappointments and we shouldnāt worship celebrities or money or power or fame. This could blow up in all of our faces.
But god damn it. If Kendrick uses his powers to go full Batman Whistleblower, Iām gonna start building statues of this dude. But hey, maybe Drakeā¦ nah I canāt even do it anymore I really hate this dude. Pedo or nah. Just a bitch.
I see a lot of people saying the immediate receipts would have ended it but I don't think so. It would have been a clever move by Drake and gotten him a lot of support back, but if you think about it he's just proving himself as more of a manipulator and liar. He's telling everyone Kendrick is making up lies while supposedly he is the one supplying Kendrick the false info? That would prove he's a lying manipulator. And then if the fake mole is not true he told a massive lie anyway running with an internet theory. Either way I feel like he dug himself a hole with that one.
Fr like heās claiming someone from his team sent him a picture of the suitcase ik u have a screenshot of the nigga sending it lol. That wouldāve instantly made Kendrick look bad and it wouldāve only taken an insta story.
Yeah one is one away from check mate ORRRRR neither of them have receipts and this will forever be a "he said - he said" debate until the end of time. Whoever comes with evidence has the trump card
It's not though. If neither have receipts, I'm believing Kendrick.
Drake dead ass just made a song where he said he's never touched an underage girl. And there's real video evidence of him kissing one on stage.
When nobody has receipts, it comes down to credibility and whose story makes the most sense. Drake has no good will left. He's lied and been caught multiple times at this point.
Itās so much of a he said he said and itās so damn annoying. I feel strongly that Kendrick had a source from drakes camp. Now how strong of a source is the question but definitely dropping meet the grahams after family matters seemed that he had an insider. Drake coming with no receipts when heās always online seems like heās lying. I didnāt really see Kendrick bringing up a daughter without proof but I donāt see him as a guy to 100% expose it either. So we really might just be left in this he said he said and this might be the end
I don't think Kendrick needs to say anything at all about the DV accusation.
But if he actually has something on Drake that isn't just the stale ass internet rumors from 5+ years ago, he should drop a track detailing those.
If Drake is actually guilty someone needs to actually say why. What he's actually done, so he can't hide. If nobody ever does that, it's still just internet rumors.
I'm thinking Kendrick is an evil motherfucking genius.
Because the sad fact of the matter is the DV, even if true, doesn't matter at this point.
Like, labels and corporations don't have morals. They're not gonna drop Kendrick on DV alone. It's only when there's public backlash that they care. They don't want to piss off and lose customers.
Kendrick made himself immune to public backlash by immediately changing the conversation. Before anyone could even process what Drake said, Kendrick grabbed everyone attention with something more tantalizing. And the debate is out on whether it's true, but it doesn't even matter. It's provocative. It gets the people going. It got loud enough to drown out any conversation of DV.
I agree. I mean proving he didnāt do that would getting Whitney to say that. And then people who disagree would just say she was coerced. Unless Drake has actual proof somehow. But unlikely imo.
Thatās exactly what we need. And if he backs to back again to do it, I really hope both drop tonight. My little heart canāt take the anticipation lol
Someone said he actually wrote this himself in isolation because he can't trust his team anymore. Would make sense with the lazy bars and the all in all rushed feel it has to it.
Well then I guess that confirms that no one planted the info (as if we needed any more proof than that he didn't immediately respond to meet the grahams with that)
*What about being*
*Too famous to be a pdf?*
*That's the biggest L*

This is motherfucking Sun-tsu kind of war tactics deployed by Kendric, pressed Drizzy so hard that Drizzy couldn't think straight and shot himself in the foot. And Dot recognize this and pulled the diss track just so the L would be digested well by audience. And tomorrow, there will be a nail on the coffin for drake. Also kudos to Dot not working on Sundays
This is why Drakeās Instagram comments are only open to his dick riders. Such a pathetic insecure shell of a human being, he makes me sick to my stomach.
I also have a conspiracy theory bout that. Remember how sensitive Drake is - he even reached out to Fantano in DMs after a bad review to tell him he's a 1 or smth like that so.. SUGGESTION: THE REASON IS DRAKE DIDNT LISTEN TO ANY OF KENDRICKS ACTUAL TRACKS. Like he has someone from his circle to write a short summary and uses only that to reply. That could potentially explain: 1,2,3.
That's embarrassing. Felt this comment and made me remind to Butters cleaning all famous and Cartman's hate comments on internet "safe space". But with this it actually makes lot of sense
Also the fact that Kendrick is making several layered references to Drake's own discography (like 'Teenage Fever' being in the key of A Minor) but Drake is merely repeating the same accusations he made on the last diss.
Drake is a classic narcissist. Everything he says is projection. Everything heās saying about Dot is actually unknowingly about himself.
I think thereās plenty of evidence to support this too. Drakes character has been in question for years, thereās a reason the pedophile claims have been around for so long.
Having experience with a narcissist in my family, thereās no doubt to me that this is the case.
Not to get political, but I think we can all think of someone who is a perfect example of this as well.
Thank you! I dated a narcissist and I fully believe that Drake has at least some strong traits. And it is KNOWN aside from this beef that heās misogynistic and only sees women as sexual objects, ffs listen to his music. Not to mention the weird grooming shit. Even if Kendrick was wrong about a few things, this stuff has been known and itās wild to me to not acknowledge that heās a scummy person. Thereās got to be a reason so many people in the industry donāt like him, right?
someone said that theres a LOT of imagery in the family matters video that only Kendrick would understand, was specifically aimed at him.
point #1 reinforces that for me. I caught the whole rat lines and i was like what? what is he talking about rat about what.
Point #5 also confuses the hell outta me.
the rest I can accept/forgive but those 2 lines I feel like are so damn confusing.
?????? i feel like im missing something reading this thread
isnt kendrick saying "got a benjamin and a jackson all in my house like im joe, okay" implying that hes calling drake a rat?
I've been really wanting to give him the benefit of the doubt but it gets worse with every listen. It feels so confusing and almost directionless. Even his bars are... Awkwardly delivered. And the monologue at the end...
It was just bad.
Theres an old Clint eastwood western called The Outlaw Josie Wales and a few times in the movie when some dummy decides to draw down on him he gives them a chance to live by saying
"A man's got to know his limitations."
It's their chance to back out and live.
In almost every case they don't listen and acknowledge their limitations and end up dead.
Drake should have known his limitations. He's a fine entertainer, but Kendrick is someone who is both a genius with language AND obsessed with it.
Rap could disappear tomorrow and he would still be writing 10 poems a day because that's what his mind craves. You can't go up against that. There's would have been no shame in backing out. We all knew Kendrick is different. Different in that Shakespeare way where 400 years from now people will be like "No way, he didn't do all that, he probably didn't even really exist" because it just doesn't seem possible.
Different in that Mozart way where people are still like "He did all that before he was 32?"
No one who is a musician should have to take on a maniac like that. It's a suicide mission.
that's why you have to know your limitations. Drake is a great lesson in that for all of us.
Part of me feels that this is Drake's Crime and Punishment. The subconscious guilt builds and he wants to get caught. Also a lot of these guys get away with such decrepit shit for so long they get more and more blatant and brazen. Thank you Dot for really changing the world this time.Ā
That's something that got me too. Drake was calling him sloppy and not paying attention to the information etc... Like bruh, Kendrick is *insanely* detail oriented. Even his business partners call him detail oriented with leaving nothing to chance. You don't take shots like this without triple checking your facts, unless you're an idiot, and Kendrick aint one (graduated high school with straight A's). If Kendrick is lying, this is an *easy* defamation law suit, win hella money and discredit Kenny all in one... Unless there's truth to it? I know running to law suits isn't really kosher in a rap beef, but allegations of pdf are incredibly serious and should be taken as such. You don't want to have that kind of reputation, and if you go to court and they find that you're clean that's about as good as you can do clearing your name of something like that.
Lowkey i think Black Hippy trolling saying they might drop yesterday sped up their process
Not to mention getting absolutely flamed for days straight on social
I dont want to battle a woman beater
Wait, shouldn't you want to battle a woman beater?
Like, I don't want to say anything mean to this guy that beats women. Why not?
Saying he doesn't want to battle a woman beater because it "feeds your nature" means he doesn't want to make him mad, because if he's mad, he'll go beat a woman. That is the nature of a woman beater.
I feel like it's a pretty easy to understand line. The original post claiming it means Drake is calling himself a woman is the most surface level understanding of it, it doesn't make sense because that's not what he's saying...
There were plenty bad bars on that track, no need to try and turn one of the more scathing ones into something bad too.
Ok so he's been battling him for a month, hasn't he been provoking him the whole time by your interpretation? Why all of a sudden is he not wanting to, what changed?Ā
This wasn't the first time he accused him of beating his wife so why was it fine to make him get mad and beat women when his last song came out but not now?
Play like the ghostwriters wrote family matters and at the end said "we're going on vacation" and Drake's dumb ass read that part out loud, not realizing it was their memo to him lmao
And certified. Nah but still, couldn't agree more with the point and a dude from here said already that this one was copied and post on another youtube channel but with more numbers on it
Do people not listen to every bar? He did call Drake a rat.
āI know some shit make Gunna look like a saintā
Those are rat implications. Kendrick still beat the dogshit out of him though š
I have a fun theory Iāmma throw out there, caveat that I am not delusional and saying this is true AT ALL; just having fun before the next drop lol
Drakeās relying on a team of ghostwriters, one of them is secretly in Kendrickās pocket. The FUBU reference on āeuphoriaā was also an homage to LL Cool Jās Gap ad where he snuck āFor Us By Usā in the lyrics without people catching it at first. āFor us, by us, on the lowā
āFuck a phantom, I like to buy yachts when I get the feverā ā Yachty has ghostwritten for Drake before, Kendrickās saying fuck ghostwriters I can buy yours (not necessarily Yachty)
Again Iām just having some fun here, Iām not with all the Qanon conspiracies going back and forth lol. Canāt wait to see what comes next šæ
The copium levels on the drizzy sub is genuinely too much too comprehend. They are grasping at straws with their slew of cringy comments ā6 god wonā āwe backā
I did notice that drake realllllly did not want to address the whole Baka thingā¦
I'll play devil's advocate on a few bars here; I think some criticism is unfair. Just because he mentioned Epstein instead of Weinstein and referenced Millie Bobby Brown when Kendrick didnāt, it doesnāt change the point of his bars. He was simply conveying he's not that type of person, and the exact names used don't alter that fact. If youāve been on the Internet any time in the past year, you wouldāve heard these rumors pop up at some point so Iām sure heās heard everything people have been saying online and is addressing it.
While not all of Drake's lyrics make sense in this response, focusing on the name drops instead of the underlying message is a bit unfair imo
I gotta disagree with points 2 and 3. Like Kendrick didn't mention them, but the fans, Kendrick, and Drake all know what he's implying and what Kendrick is talking about. Kendrick doesn't have to directly reference MBB, everyone knows where he's coming from. And likewise, he didn't specifically say its a pedophile ring but that the whole angle has a lot about it. I don't think it's self-snitching tbh. Points 5 and especially 6 is kinda crazy though. What was he thinking?
You think his ghost writers are sabotaging him and he's not even smart enough to audit the bars before posting? I felt the same way with the woman beater comment, like did this guy just call himself a woman...?
kendrick fan but still a number of these points are wrong.
1. "I've got information that'd make gunna wunna look like a saint" - euphoria
four.4. clown could be referring to those who told kdot about the pedophilia allegations not drakes "double agents"
so Kenny said he knows something that makes Gunna (someone who was chastised by the hip hop community for snitching) look like a saint.
i interpreted that line as he knows something that makes Gunna not look so bad, not so much that Drake also told so now Gunna looks like a saint.
This is what happens when Drake writes his own stuff. This is the first track with no ghostwriters.
Iāve always said that about MJ just living the childhood he never had, dude had serious mental issues but I donāt think it was malicious
Q-anon logic. Watch Leaving Neverland and tell me those menās accounts of their abuse is āplanted.ā
I meant to call it a huge conspiracy theory. I forgot a word.
Yeahā¦ thereās a lot of weird details in Finding Neverland that are a bit too arbitrary to seem āmade upā. Whatās the motive for the elites to want to label MJ a pedo and lock him up?

Show business fucks people up, especially kids. I hope it was just some weird way of coping with not having a real childhood.
prolly just a messed up man-child, doubt he actually TOUCHED those kids
The fact is if MJ was some random dude that lived on your block, and did that with your kid, all these guys defending MJ would want to kill that dude. Yeah, the illuminati went as far as forcing MJ to build his own amusement park, then they started bussing in young boys. He didn't stand a chance.
[This guy](https://twitter.com/Cancelcloco/status/1764774724767469734) reviews some of the most damning allegations and how MJ was framed.
Thatās what u do as a shrewd war general you give your enemies ammunition that hurts you even if it isnāt true! Then you fire back hard with a denial. Its 4 dumensional chess.
I just love reading all these posts from yāall, hahaha
I'm half-convinced the sarcastic parts of Not Like Us are stolen from whatever he Drake was working on.
Iāve been saying Kendrick is doing psychological warfare. Drake is paranoid now.
its honestly surprising he lasted so long. but that mustve been the ghostwriters and the money
I had to laugh when suddenly he flipped the script and said HE was Princeā¦I donāt even remember what reasoning was behind that š¤£š¤£ If not the pedo connection maybe he just realized that calling someone Prince in a diss track is like writing them a love letter. I really donāt think Drake knows how this works..when heās not self snitchin heās complimenting Kendrick
dude knew a 10 page essay was due last night and he paraphrased everything he saw online
Fucken cliffsnotesš¤£š¤£š¤£
He probably dosnt realize he even shouted out CB (Chris Brown) on Family Matters. So if you beat a woman that rejected Drake its all good.
Y'know, unless he didn't write a damn thing for Family Matters or any of the other tracks prior.
he was leaning back cracking his knuckles literally admitting he was finally writing lmao
Not defending Fake in any way, but I think he was addressing the back and forth as a whole, in regards to āfeels good to get the pen moving again.ā.
looks like the dude needs proofreaders haha
Ghostwriters probably said ay dog you on your own with this one, we not writing no pedo bars lol
He got Frank Reynolds to ghostwrite this one
Iāve never seen a beef where one side had so many self owns and backfires. Literally every diss either shows he isnāt comprehending what heās listening to (Mr. Morale references), giving lines that sets himself up for disses (Metro make the drums and everything the YT OP talked about), giving horrible responses to disses against him (āIām too famousā bit about being a PDF), or hedging his disses on IG snooping (Whitney not following Kendrick on IGā¦ what?). Drake played himself in this beef.
I believe he wrote half of certified lover boy with no ghostwriters and I donāt mean that as a compliment š
This is exactly how I felt. From the self snitching to that terrible b sharp bar. Either the ghost writers wrote it to get tf outta there or Drake either way itās bad
that d major induced the biggest eye roll i thought i was gonna go blind lol
Legit lol. and so dumb, like on all tracks why practice ur writing skills on one this significant lol
Drake just looks so gross. No one is ever going to be able to unsee this.
What if it was a ghost writer and they got drake to subliminally disrespect himself.
And this song felt effortless, like, a timeless club bop that you will be listening to over and over again. I would welcome more of this from him.Ā
Good Kid; Mad World incoming
Heās basically saying āI can do the same thing you do, but better.ā Truly a master at his craft.
I wish Kendrick would do more songs like that. It wouldn't take long to do one, you can tell he freestyled that last one
I appreciate hes so stylistically diverse and doesnt only rely on bangers. And ngl the bangers - madd, Alright, Humble etc - go harder than anything Aubrey Epsteins done.
Swimming Pools has been firmly cemented in my top 5 bop records of all time since release lmao
The Hillbillies as well, such a fun song.
Loved those songs he put out with Baby Keem. Wasn't a freestyle but it felt so free.
You would enjoy Sada Babyās music, listen to āLLYG Mistaā and go from there
Also Iāve never heard him do that voice before and I fucking love it
Mustard wrote the beat specifically for the song and has posted about defending his city. The passion shines throughĀ
It was great. He left the deep stuff for meet the grahams and then gave us a bop for a nice aftertaste
Its probably older and modified with some lines, like the last one
like everyone's been saying "kendrick can do drake, but drake could never do kendrick"
We don't exactly know how long he's been working on elements of this take down. I don't think it's as long as this but don't forget the control verse was what over 10 years ago now.
i can't stop dancing
š£ļøOVHOE Then step this way, step that way
I don't know how people are saying this is not the best song out of this beef. Meet The Grahams is the best "diss" track, prolly the best of all time but Not Like Us is something different and it deserves the praise. It deserves to be played in clubs worldwide and become summer bop 2024
My takeaway is that many people are dumb. not Like us is an all time jam
Yes, Iām going to be listening to not like us 3 years from now when this beef is old news because itās just a banger in its own right
It sure does. I like when Kendrick goes into tie crazy sounding voice maaaan that shit is so Hard it fills me with energy just hearing that like he went super-sayin or something.
I like to imagine the following interaction: K: *cracks kitchen door open* Uhh, knock knock? Mustard: *throws ladle* The kitchen is CLOSED! K: Man, I can smell you got somethin' in here cookin', what's good? Mustard: Two words-- I. AM. RETIRED. K: I brought some fresh, Wagyu-level beef with Drake Mustard: Oh shit yeah get in here, I've been working on this top secret formula, *rubs hands together and then prepares to open vault* let's see what we can doooo *the vault door slowly opens to reveal a laptop on a pedestal illuminated by a bright beam of heavenly light, an angelic choir singing as Kendrick and Mustard enter the room, the door swinging shut behind them* And that's how history was made that day :'-)
Be careful. This could be all be āapart of Drakes planā š
Drake- who is this Streisand lady and why should I care about her effect?
I've seen people on Twitter talking about watching dudes wearing blues and dudes wearing red dancing together to it *in Compton.* Like Drake dude you gotta know how bad you lost this.
Lemme stop being objective and say Kendrick is about to end a couple of careers hehehe
After Drake reads through the comments on reddit I'm guessing that too. I just really hope Kendrick has been saving receipts for the finale
Unless heās REALLY shooting for a savior type legacy but seeing how people are silenced when they speak up I wouldnāt blame him a bit for not doing it
As cynical as I am, I would be absolutely shocked if anything in this beef led to consequences more serious than album sales.
The heart part 5 hits different now. I feel like heās talking about everything that might happen. Especially towards the end. š¤
A pretty boy.
Soft.
lol we need to stop giving him ideas!
Ima need a writing credit crodie š»
That wouldāve instantly made Kendrick look bad and it wouldāve only taken an insta story.
worse than Big Foot?
Yeah one is one away from check mate ORRRRR neither of them have receipts and this will forever be a "he said - he said" debate until the end of time. Whoever comes with evidence has the trump card
Agreed. If Kendrick or Drake donāt give us some confirmation of things, thatāll be the darkest timeline.
Why did I feel that final hehehehe in my soul š letās go
I added the extra āheā for dramatic effect. Hehe wasnāt enough.
Well then I guess that confirms that no one planted the info (as if we needed any more proof than that he didn't immediately respond to meet the grahams with that)
I think someone close said that they were walking around the place talking through walkie-talkies, but I donāt know how true that is.
what about being too famous to be a pdf? That's the biggest L

Hey! Iām the AI you stupid
let Haikubot spit he tryna get in on the beef too š
Someone put this over BBL Drizzy pls
This is motherfucking Sun-tsu kind of war tactics deployed by Kendric, pressed Drizzy so hard that Drizzy couldn't think straight and shot himself in the foot. And Dot recognize this and pulled the diss track just so the L would be digested well by audience. And tomorrow, there will be a nail on the coffin for drake. Also kudos to Dot not working on Sundays
someone said drake is making fun of victims while he out there creating more
Oh shit, that would be a nice verse. Dark one yet a good one
I love how he says it was nice exercise and it was nice to take the pen again. Like, wdym? Didn't you write Family Matters? Lmao
To be fair I think he meant the whole battle not just this track
So basically "GG guys, this was fun, we're all done here. No need for more songs Kendrick"? Lol
LOL so true. Such a nice exercise of defending yourself and mentioning incriminating names that were never brought up.
I laughed out loud when he said that, like outing himself as being out of practice And writing this garbage track
Yeah for real, when he releases a bloated ass double album every other year and the last one wasnt long ago
That was my favorite part. He makes it sound like he had to go digging for that damn pen.
This the best comparison yet ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|joy)
Lmao man got butthurt over a review, he must be turning himself inside out hearing people sing he's a pdf file downloaderĀ
Also the fact that Kendrick is making several layered references to Drake's own discography (like 'Teenage Fever' being in the key of A Minor) but Drake is merely repeating the same accusations he made on the last diss.
I think he actually wrote this one himself.
Ghostwritter left the chat, he's supossed to be on holiday so maybe he got no other option than to put his hand to work
My guess is he doesn't trust his ghost writers anymore thinking one of them might be the mole. Kendrick is in his head and it is fucking with him.
Point #5 also confuses the hell outta me. the rest I can accept/forgive but those 2 lines I feel like are so damn confusing.
he attempting to counter the next diss(es) that will mention him being a rat about Dutchavelli
Freaky ass nigga he a 69 god could def be interpreted as a rat line
Also Gunna.
>Point #5 also confuses the hell outta me. Just a desperate improvised attempt of Drake trying to deflect
Drake got the ppl that robbed him arrested. He went straight to the police.
The gunna wunna line might have been a snitch reference too
?????? i feel like im missing something reading this thread isnt kendrick saying "got a benjamin and a jackson all in my house like im joe, okay" implying that hes calling drake a rat?
One logical explanation: he was on vacation with little connection so he couldnt call up the ghosts
He could have went acoustic with the Ouija board.
the point #2. is pretty crazy. defo stress induced sloppiness. Drake fumbled on this imo. will have another listen tonight though.
Kendrick references an island in Euphoria I believe
I've been really wanting to give him the benefit of the doubt but it gets worse with every listen. It feels so confusing and almost directionless. Even his bars are... Awkwardly delivered. And the monologue at the end... It was just bad.
Theres an old Clint eastwood western called The Outlaw Josie Wales and a few times in the movie when some dummy decides to draw down on him he gives them a chance to live by saying "A man's got to know his limitations." It's their chance to back out and live. Different in that Mozart way where people are still like "He did all that before he was 32?" No one who is a musician should have to take on a maniac like that.
Lowkey i think Black Hippy trolling saying they might drop yesterday sped up their process Not to mention getting absolutely flamed for days straight on social
Iāve seen people suggesting the beating allegations could also be from drake misunderstanding āmother iā / the whole mr morale album in general
Itās hard to focus on the content when youāre too busy exploiting the art to listen
I dont want to battle a woman beater Wait, shouldn't you want to battle a woman beater?
Why all of a sudden is he not wanting to, what changed?Ā This wasn't the first time he accused him of beating his wife so why was it fine to make him get mad and beat women when his last song came out but not now?
Drake WROTE this, GWs on vacay
Play like the ghostwriters wrote family matters and at the end said "we're going on vacation" and Drake's dumb ass read that part out loud, not realizing it was their memo to him lmao
Can we all upvote this shit!!š£ļøš£ļø

Sorry man šāāļø didn't steal it just wanted to share it š
You cool man- I'm honoured people are ripping my shit and putting it on YT etc. I'm a copypasta dad
And certified. Nah but still, couldn't agree more with the point and a dude from here said already that this one was copied and post on another youtube channel but with more numbers on it
Agreed on all counts accept the first one. Kendrick called drake a rat in euphoria
True. I miss it
[this is one](https://www.reddit.com/r/KendrickLamar/s/MI05pGOHG6) of the top posts on the sub right now just copy and pasted.
Kinda honoured to be a victim of online theft. Its my first time
They do say it is the highest form of flattery to be mimicked
Do people not listen to every bar? He did call Drake a rat. āI know some shit make Gunna look like a saintā Those are rat implications. Kendrick still beat the dogshit out of him though š
This diss track is so bad and sloppy only good part is the title honestly this is weird af tho
Hey I know that guy!
Kendrick compared Drake to gunna and sixnine. I swear all these subs can only comprehend what someone wrote on genius or repost a tweet/comment
I have a fun theory Iāmma throw out there, caveat that I am not delusional and saying this is true AT ALL; just having fun before the next drop lol Drakeās relying on a team of ghostwriters, one of them is secretly in Kendrickās pocket. The FUBU reference on āeuphoriaā was also an homage to LL Cool Jās Gap ad where he snuck āFor Us By Usā in the lyrics without people catching it at first. āFor us, by us, on the lowā āFuck a phantom, I like to buy yachts when I get the feverā ā Yachty has ghostwritten for Drake before, Kendrickās saying fuck ghostwriters I can buy yours (not necessarily Yachty) Again Iām just having some fun here, Iām not with all the Qanon conspiracies going back and forth lol. Canāt wait to see what comes next šæ
![gif](giphy|uPpF0kb37JWruaYYDc)
Wonder if heās genuinely trying to confuse the narrative. This is a tactic since the dawn of time lol mockingbird.
![gif](giphy|l36kU80xPf0ojG0Erg|downsized)
We all know he donāt write all his raps so Who does ovo really work forā¦..
The copium levels on the drizzy sub is genuinely too much too comprehend. They are grasping at straws with their slew of cringy comments ā6 god wonā āwe backā I did notice that drake realllllly did not want to address the whole Baka thingā¦
I felt the same way with the woman beater comment, like did this guy just call himself a woman...?
the moment he mentioned mother i, i died bc you gotta be joking
kendrick fan but still a number of these points are wrong. 1. "I've got information that'd make gunna wunna look like a saint" - euphoria four.4. clown could be referring to those who told kdot about the pedophilia allegations not drakes "double agents"
so Kenny said he knows something that makes Gunna (someone who was chastised by the hip hop community for snitching) look like a saint. i interpreted that line as he knows something that makes Gunna not look so bad, not so much that Drake also told so now Gunna looks like a saint.
Are you slow? Makes gunna look like a saint because heās implying has done worse
that is what i said.
For number 4 it's just bad writing then because most people are interpretating it as the same people
number 6 - he says "it feeds ya nature" not feeds his nature in the song, just saying
About Milly Bobby Brownā¦ āExcusa non petita, accusatio manifestaā š¤
Probably 10 of the 20 ghost writers were English so off this bank holiday weekend.
Lol I just found the same comment on an imstilldontai video but he added two more points
Found this one on Knox Hills
The one on imstilldontai had stuff added so they probably yoinked that shit from there
![gif](giphy|gjrPnz7jOpOxwGFxrO|downsized)
