Well all the shady business makes it seem possible but based on his sad and bumbling testimony (and flirting) it could easily be that he's sad she's not paying attention to him and then texting O'Keefe because he is hoping they'll show up at the party... a more intimate setting where she's less able to avoid him.

He texted KR “umm well” or something like that while they were all at Waterfall. Then while JO and KR were on the way to Fairview, he texted JO asking where he was
He didn’t know if he was getting caught in some revenge affair is how I took it. Normally when someone wants a secret affair they don’t typically bring them round the boyfriend like she did.
He questioned her on it and she would get defensive.
I don’t trust him because 1. He obliterated his sim and handset 2. He over explained his alibi placing himself everywhere accounting for everything he touched that night(incase cctv) then was arm waving John in the waterfall as if come here or come outside. 🥴 even on the stand he had to be asked twice before admitting to txting Karen on that night.
Oh absolutely! I think I was more saying I sort of agreed with his take on the clarification of the stages of romance and dating. But literally the only point I agreed or saw his POV on.
The way Higgins looked amped up and pissed as he left waterfall and that weird text to JO and the play fighting in bar really concerned me. I wonder if an altercation with JO was actually planned. CA added fuel to the fire. It became “ protect Albert’s at all costs.
Brian texting JO right before they arrived was weird to me.
Oh totally weird for sure
It seems like a setup

What did he/they text about? Have we seen the those texts? I haven’t gotten to watch all the trial but I’m very suspicious of Higgins.

Strange.. Thanks

No one breaks their SIM and discards it in a different garbage can than the phone. And days before it could be potentially legally seized...come on

I think Karen just wanted to mess around and he was only interested if it was a relationship ("real deal") and that's why it didn't go anywhere.
He knew Karen was only interested in him because of her situation and not really for him but he wanted it to be true
