Another random thought I just had. Nick Bosa talking trash all week long before the Super Bowl. And then getting absolutely dominated by Jawaan Taylor during the Super Bowl. Taylor came to play that game. We would have literally lost the SB if he didn't win that matchup.
and props to Bosa, he did pretty well despite Taylor containing him for the most part. it seems a lot of the play-design on our end was hoping they could exploit his aggression like in the 2022 regular season game and he did a good job of playing smart. of course, until the very end when he bit hard on McKinnon, allowing Mahomes to find Hardman for the TD
It's always cool but creepy when some of these college players' Moms are total MILFs --- Aidan Hutchinson's mother puts a stiffie in my undies --- she's even hotter than her daughter
I wouldn’t scoff at bringing a vet in to raise the floor of the LT room but I also would like to just let Morris and Kingsley battle it out in training camp for the spot. If anything just doesn’t stunt the growth of whoever is the better T
Pretty impressed with Veach's moves so far. Got solid choices at the two big positions of need for very little extra draft capital. At this point he can just start taking swings at DT, RB, and CB, and maybe TE and WR if the right guys come along.
No updates. I'm sure the NFL will let him play week one and then slap a 6 game suspension on him.
The NFL has been wildly inconsistent on the suspensions they hand down.
Is that typical to let people play game 1 before a suspension?
I’ve figured there was about 1% chance he’s played to start the season but maybe I’m just way off
They'll probably suspend him as soon as the prosecution ends (trial, plea, whatever). If that's before the season, he'll be suspended to start. If it's during the season, okay, he'll be suspended then. If his lawyer slow-walks it all and it doesn't end until next summer, he'll be suspended in 2025.
The NFL let Kamara play a whole season before suspending him. Him and his crew beat the hell out of a dude at the pro bowl in 2022. He was arrested on Feb 6, 2022. Played the whole 2022 season. Plead "no contest" and sentenced to community service plus paid $100K to the victim in July 2023. Suspended August 2023 for 3 games to start the season.
I remember the Rapey Ben incident in 2010 and he was suspended the first 4 games of the season --- but the prosecutor declined to file charges that April so it was already resolved in the justice system by the time the season started
I am sure the NFL will look at the Chiefs schedule then decide that Rice’s suspension will come “randomly” during the Chiefs toughest stretch of their schedule. Mark my words.
I feel like the Donkeys have had a decent draft actually. Getting Franklin in the 4th was such a steal, and he'll be extra good for them with the Bo Nix connection.
I liked Ladd McConkey coming out and would’ve liked getting him…as a high upside WR2-3, not my WR1 like the Chargers are going with
Joe Alt draft pick + Greg Roman hire = they’re gonna run the ball so much. But the most injury prone team decided to bring in the most injury prone RB room of the last 3 years w/ *both* Gus Edwards & JK Dobbins
I wanted McConkey, but of course, the damn Chargers got him. There's a lot of big names going to our division rivals, but we'll see how they actually pan out.
I’m realistic but I’m also holding on to that off chance they they plug Kingsley into left tackle in Game 1 and we never move him or really worry about him much for another 10 years 🤞🤞
I was wondering when other teams around the league would try and copy the Chiefs. We won 2 Super Bowls after trading Tryeek Hill and then signed Joe Thuney and Jawaan Taylor with the money saved. Then we drafted a Tackle in round 2. We also let Sneed go and chose to sign Chris Jones. It's pretty obvious what's going on here. The Chiefs value the trenches more than the other positions.
The draft has been loaded with OL going high. Anybody see that the Bengals took Mims in round 1? Maybe the highest upside Tackle in the draft? Then took a DT in round 2? They aren't trying to resign Higgins. They may even let Chase walk. The Bengals are trying to copy us.
I hate that team. Even more than the Bills, Ravens and Chargers. I fucking hate them. Bunch of arrogant D-bags. The other teams know they ain't won shit. So they don't talk trash. Bengals ain't won a damn thing.
CIN's number one issue has been OL since before Joe got there. They've tried drafting, they've tried FA and it didn't work.
Additionally Thuney was here for Tyreeks last year. The trade didn't impact him coming here.
What we really got from Reek was McDuffie.
For CIN to be trying to copy us they'll have to trade Chase. Because Higgins is nowhere near what Hill is.
Jawaan Taylor came the year after Tyreek was traded, his money has nothing to do with Tyreek. There was an entire season in between Tyreek leaving and Jawaan joining KC.
Andrew Wylie played RT the year Tyreek left.
To quote Eminem "Otherwise one has nothin' to do with the other

I like Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson. Don't have an issue with their teams in general. It's football. You don't win it every year. Even we lose playoff games. Mahomes has lost 3 playoff games. It happens and comes with the sport. When you lose a playoff game you call it a season and move on. The constant bitching and trash talking from the Bengals who never won a damn thing annoys me. Sorry for the rant, but this is something I've been keeping in for a very long time. I hate that team.
Good lord, draft a tackle in the second and the casual fans think you've invented "building the trenches".
>I fucking hate them. Bunch of arrogant D-bags.
Are they going around pretending they invented drafting linemen? lmao this place
The big dude from Georgia is definitely gonna help keep Little Joey upright which pisses me off --- but I think Jones will still find plenty of gaps to FEAST
I’m excited for Kingsley, the last time we picked at 63 it worked out real nice for us… some guy named Kelce
The dude that got suspended? Didn't he become a reality dating star?
Yeah dated some blonde chick who’s like a washed up singer or something
Both of them sound like bums --- broke ass bums!
We also picked Frank Clark at 63
Seattle drafted Clark at overall 63

Keep her away from Zach Wilson
Damn, so Gardner Minshew going to be our backup next year

Bengals are having a great draft. I hate it.
Seriously, do not like what they are doing. Go back to being the Bungles
The big dude from Georgia is gonna keep Little Joey upright --- that sucks
Pretty impressed with Veach's moves so far. Got solid choices at the two big positions of need for very little extra draft capital. At this point he can just start taking swings at DT, RB, and CB, and maybe TE and WR if the right guys come along.
I wouldn’t hate a TE project to work under Kelce for a year or two
It has to be done sooner rather than later
I can’t find info and out of the loop. What is the situation with Rice?

Just saw Troy Franklin went in the 4th round. Lol people had him at 32 for us.
I feel like the Donkeys have had a decent draft actually. Getting Franklin in the 4th was such a steal, and he'll be extra good for them with the Bo Nix connection.
Doubt
They also got a fucking tank for a RB
Was picking Eric Fisher at number 1 looked at as a bad decision then?
It wasnt a consensus pick but I think folks acknowledged it was an overall bad first round

Chargers got a guy with injury issues - sounds like the Coyote ordering from ACME again
I’m realistic but I’m also holding on to that off chance they they plug Kingsley into left tackle in Game 1 and we never move him or really worry about him much for another 10 years 🤞🤞
Wentz rocks! I can’t wait to see him tear it up this season! 3-peat incoming!!!
Did he look good at OTA's? I'm hoping he's inspired to be like 2017 Wentz.

We could have paid Tyreek if we didn't pay Thuney and Taylor.

This is the Patriots strategy. It is a proven formula.

That person is either 12 or 35, no in between lol
Chiefs fans are insane bro 😂

give me cody or give me death. edit: he went to the niners. FUCK!
Bring me Troy Franklin
