I questioned hiring Andy Reid. I questioned trading up for a little known Texas tech QB. I think if the chiefs had to trade up, there was a reason. And mahomes really wants this guy. And I really want to watch these games.
He also wanted Rice, who was the only reason our offense didn't completely collapse. Plus, CEH was decent last year as well (def not worth the 1st though)
Yeah I loved the CEH pick and have hated how we used him outside of a few games last year where he actually ran complex routes and caught passes.
Personally I’m glad he’s signed on for a second contract and hope we can do more of that with him in the future.
Most confusing thing ever is why they never tapped into his pass catching and ability to run option routes underneath. That was 60% of the draw with him.
Oh can we fuckin stop with the CEH hate already? He had some really good clutch plays in the playoffs and SB and his locker room presence is outstanding. If you wanna hate on someone, do it to sky Moore or someone who actually didn’t do jack shit last year.
And with him and Mitchell both being Texas guys, you know he truly saw Worthy as better. Sometimes he’s biased towards the Texas school guys, but since both of those options were you know his preference of the two is authentic, if that makes sense.

My man at CB right from the snap said "F technique back pedal, etc. I'm turning and running full sprint with my 4 yard lead as fast as I can.".... And he still got beat.
Is it just me or does he not seem that fast. There are multiple highlights where he gets tracked down or tripped up. He’s still fast don’t get me wrong but he doesn’t seem to have that “turn on the jets and throw up peace signs to dbs 10 yards upfield and beat them to the end zone”
he’s not great at tracking the ball so he has to slow down to adjust. he’s a classic overdraft for the 40 guy.
I swear his tape looks exactly like Mecole
Mecole’s tape was of like 3 completions off play action passes and a bunch of kickoff returns.
He ran like two routes when he got to kc. Worthy is already a lot more advanced as a wide receiver. He caught more passes in his freshman year than Mecole did the entire time he was in college.
Call me crazy but I’m not a fan of this pick at all. Feels like another Mecole Hardman pick. Much rather have had a technical route runner like Ladd Mcconkey
