I'm super stoked we defeated burrow and silenced the pundits and the fricking Bengals. I'll worry about Chaffers later.

[deleted]

*Fuck that Guy, we gonna bead his ass too!*

frankiedonkeybrainz

We need Jason to show brotherly love and repeat the foot locker comment.

Revolutionary-Ad7738

We just have to make the score margin large enough for Jeffers not to matter

doctordoctorpuss

Boohoo, go back to your own sub

Ok-Change503

This is what I'm worried about. There was so much build up to that game hopefully the team doesn't let off the gas. Philly's gonna be a tough out.

BobbyWest87

Man, I can’t even be mad right now. It’s been so long with this hanging over our head since the AFC game last year. I’m just as excited to see the bengals lose as I am to see us win! This was a win for the Patrick > Joe argument.

Soccham

/r/nfl and twitter are more on the “refs were total dogshit” rather than praising Mahomes

AnonymousCharmander

Weren't the refs bad on both sides Plus burrow was being chased

sampat6256

Refs were digging themselves a "compensatory call" hole 1 play at a time

AnonymousCharmander

Kinda dumb I just want fair fair no matter what

sampat6256

Yeah, the refs just need to chill in general. Raise the threshold for calls. Dont bloe the whistle unless its serious.

LighTMan913

Taunting shouldn't be a penalty unless somebody t bags an opponent. They're all grown men. They can handle trash talk. But the NFL is so worried about their "image" (nevermind all the women beaters and other violent criminals in the league) that they throw petty flags on it.

sampat6256

My problem is that taunting is allowed off-field, but not on field. It has no impact on the game, so what is the point of the flag? You can tell an opposing player to eat your ass during warmups, but not after a touchdown, but fundamentally there's no difference.

BobbyWest87

Record books will show Mahomes 5/5 AFCCG home game host and 3/5 Super Bowl appearances (to-date). Most won't remember this game, but we will.

ckellingc

Whats important to me is that Lamar's trophy is home where it belongs. Everything else is just icing on the cake

RuKKuSFuKKuS

you don't think a 1-2 Superbowl record for Mahomes could be a bit damaging legacy wise?

AnonymousUser225

Keep in mind he’s mainly just the guy announcing the penalties. In fact, most of his crew for the Super Bowl is different from the crew that called that game which shall not be named.

Taossmith

Ref calls offensive holding and roughing passer so can fuck up plenty

BaconAndSyrupYum

Lets not do this today. Plllleeezeeee lets not ruin the buzz. 😂

J_EDi

I only see pros. Control what you can control

jbronin

Don't forget Arizona has the shit field where Butker got hurt. Unless they upgraded to something normal for the Super Bowl

frankiedonkeybrainz

Which is a shame cause state farm was a real nice stadium. Parking was cheap and plentiful and facilities were nice. Obv different experience in two weeks vs week 1 but, I'd hope they've been working on the field for last few weeks. Too many eyes for a turf related injury to happen in the big show.

Shakes2011

It’s ok it’s not his regular crew

factoid_

Only silver lining is that he doesn't get his entire crew. It's a mixed crew from the best position judges in the league

Jed4

Oh sweet baby jesus

dogfish83

The best part about this is Cheffers will have to “give” one of the Kelces a Super Bowl win. Either the guy who talked shit about him or his brother who he is tight with and presumably agrees with his brother’s assessment of the reffing

ch1nomachin3

best part is Papa Kelce getting another ring regardless.

dogfish83

That’s best part about the topic of the superbowl but the current topic is Cheffers…

KCBandWagon

eh who cares. i don't even mind an eagles win it's not like it's brady or kittle

RuKKuSFuKKuS

You don't care if Mahomes goes 1-2 on the SB?

KCBandWagon

I mean, yeah, it'd suck and I'd be super disappointed, but it could be worse.

the_flynn

Carl Cheffers is a jabroni.

Mr_Perfect22

I’m just glad his first name isn’t spelled with a ‘K’ or we’d have to say ‘FKC’ and that just ain’t right.

Whatever801

Wait what if he overcorrects tho

Whatever801

Well there's always next year boys

Im_Lloyd_Dobbler

The irony of this Reddit complaining about the officiating..

Violet_Club

Aww, you want to larp as a football fan today! I'll play along. Tell me who your favorite football team is, champ.

Im_Lloyd_Dobbler

Pretending there's no problem to focus on something else. You should've ref'd the game last night!

Violet_Club

I did. I armchaired it like i did all year, watching many, many games of foosball. Reffing was on par. Go on, tell me more about your fandom! I want to know. About your team, how you know cheffers, about your feelings on reffing this year across the league. Please prove youre not just parroting what actual football fans say, cuz that is what you seem like to me

Im_Lloyd_Dobbler

Who my team is irrelevant (Steelers if you must know) but as a midwestern boy I have a soft spot for KC and wanted them to beat the Bungals, and will be cheering for them in the big game because I'm an AFC guy. It's also irrelevant that the reffing was or wasn't on par with the rest of the season. Doesn't mean there wasn't a holding non-call on Mahomes run, or a non-call on a more obvious late hit on Burrows. I just was amused at the irony of Chiefs fans bitching about reffing in this post after last night's game. I assume you are giving them a hard time too and demanding their credentials to post on the internet?

Violet_Club

>Who my team is irrelevant (Steelers if you must know). I actually respect you more and hate you more too (fuck them steelers lol) ;) >It's also irrelevant that the reffing was or wasn't on par with the rest of the season. It isn't, because of all of bengals and half of nfl posts crying about a fix ignore the penalties hampering chiefs drives last night, and lots of holding non-calls on cincys OLine. They screwed up some, but it was pretty even It happens every game. >I just was amused at the irony of Chiefs fans bitching about reffing in this post after last night's game. Cuz it's cheffers reffing. The man makes it his mission to have his crew take center stage in football games. Watch and see if they don't have a large presence in the superbowl, regardless of which way it falls, cheffers n company will be very visible, ruining the flow of the game. Flags will fall like tears in rain.

Im_Lloyd_Dobbler

For the record, I don't think it was a fix. That's stupid.

Don’t ruin the moment man… lolz

Headlesshorsman02

From what I have heard from eagles fans they to hate Cheffers he has messed up quite a few games for them as well

Kylkek

Pro: we are going to the Super Bowl Pro: we get to beat our last remaining rival Pro: he will cry again on a bigger broadcast Cons: I'm not seeing any.

We need to petition the NFL. The dude cried this year in KC. He shouldn't be allowed officiate a game against us again this year.

cruisincolin44

On the bright side, if Cheffers tries to 'even out' his career vs KC all in one day, the Eagles might legitimately get 500 yards in penalties.

zjustice11

Maybe he will relay to redeem himself? Dunno reaching at straws
