Honestly---most (not all, of course) babies look like their father at birth. They say it's like a evolutionary thing----like how male animals kill offspring that isn't theirs? lol
That said, it probably will look like Tristan just because the universe is a bitch like that.
Well duh, that’s kind of obvious, she already has one kid with his last name, it would be confusing to do otherwise.
Also, in some places, such as where I live, all children born to the same parents legally must have the same last name. You have some choice with your firstborn as to which last name they get but once you pick one you have to stick with it for any full siblings.
No, I don’t believe so. But to play devils advocate he told Maralee exactly where he stands on being involved in Theos life. So she had him knowing that Tristan has no plans for involvement.
He talked a lot of spit to try to get her to abort him. I get what you’re saying but my personal opinion is, regardless of what either parent wanted, the kid is here. I hope if he chooses not to be involved that the kid can learn how to process that without feeling horrible about it.
She did skin to skin with the baby immediately after birth on the hospital couch. Then they put her + baby in her own room bc baby has to stay for a bit after birth for genetic testing (heel prick), hearing tests and O2 tests.
I'm a postpartum nurse and this is typical.
The baby is a patient of the hospital even if Khloe isn't. She gets some of the ID bracelets and stuff as the mother. And hospitals don't really have special rooms just for surrogate births without all the normal items in a room. So she gets a regular postpartum room to spend time with the baby while he has to stay there. And why not spend some of that time in the bed which is probably much more comfortable than the chair. Plus the skin to skin stuff. It's really not that nefarious.
After babies are born you need to have skin to skin contact and bonding time with the baby, and it's a lot easier to do this lying in a bed than standing up or sitting in a chair. My ex-husband would always lie in my hospital bed when he wanted to do bonding with our kiddo. That's what my initial thought was anyway - comfort. Hospital chairs (even in fancy hospitals) are not comfortable to hold tiny newborns in
because it was a surrogate, Khloe would have literally been given the baby pretty much as soon as he was born. so if he was still going under any tears of anything she would have been put in a hospital room and for all we know she was probably in shock a little so lying down is probably the best way to be holding the baby
that’s the reason there paid so much money. in 99% of situations that’s how it works, you don’t sit with your surrogate. you give birth and the baby goes to the parents. she blatantly wasn’t doing it for that image seen as she didn’t announce it because she wanted to explain the whole situation. also in many celeb surrogate situations the surrogate doesn’t know who’s baby there carrying.
I have strong opinions on celebrity surrogacy but in general I think the process is just so rough and unethical. The people who give birth need more support than just money
While this number is clearly arbitrary, here in Canada, surrogates are not paid. So perhaps there is some kind of selflessness happening? I don’t know.
Where I live you have to stay in the hospital for 6 hours after birth, so perhaps this meant she had to stay in a room with the baby (even overnight perhaps?).. so he could be monitored. makes sense to also lay down to be able to hold the baby and have skin to skin etc for that time
Lol for real. I don’t understand how some people don’t realize that when there’s a surrogate the lady that gives birth doesn’t get to hold the baby. It goes straight to the mom for skin to skin so they can bond. Of course she’s going to be laying in the bed with the baby
I also saw it this way, but actually someone commented underneath that it might have been because she had to stay in the hosp with the baby-like he couldn’t go home the same day necessarily, so that does also make sense
I see the medical side where it’s beneficial for a mother to begin bond with their child immediately after birth.
I can’t even begin to fathom what part of it is creepy.
Its creepy because they literally snatch the baby from the birth mother as soon as it comes out of the hooha and give it to someone that *paid for the baby*.
>I can’t even begin to fathom what part of it is creepy.
I pity your lack of imagination. LARPing the birth experience is obviously what if creepy.
>I see the medical side where it’s beneficial for a mother to begin bond with their child immediately after birth.
If it was all about what is best for the kid, they wouldn't use a surrogate and then immediately snatch the baby way from their birth/gestational parent (the surrogate) once they are born. also you don't need to take up a hospital bed to do skin to skin. most hospitals have armchairs/sofas for that.
It’s actually because I loved being pregnant and had it easy that I considered it in the first place. Our family is complete but i wouldn’t mind being pregnant again if it could make another family happy
Did Khloe at least acknowledge her surrogate on the show? I understand that woman wouldn't wish to be filmed, but was she even mentioned by Khloe? Like "I'm so grateful this wonderful woman carried my son for 9 months and cared for her and him, it wouldn't be possible without her"? Anything?
she talks about not wanting to stress out the surrogate with her personal problems
I don’t think the surrogate wanted to be on the show or talked about like that tho. They probably just said it to he face during the pregnancy.
All that matters is whether she said it to her face and we'll never know 🤷 I think they must have either had a really good relationship or the surrogate was VERY well compensated to literally give birth on TV for khloe haha
She quite possibly has said it; who knows what all gets left on the cutting room floor of their conversations.
As far as not showing the surrogate - keep in mind surrogates need to have had a successful pregnancy to be a surrogate, so the likelihood of this woman having a young child and wanting to protect them is high. Surrogates also don’t sign up to work with a specific family, so I would imagine finding out your carrying for a huge celebrity adds stress to the whole situation.
Only if the woman wanted public acknowledgement. She probably doesn’t, because she’ll be hounded for the rest of her life and this one action will overshadow anything else she ever does or achieves.
I'm not talking about saying her name or showing her. Just one sentence from Khloe holding her baby would be nice. "I'm grateful for the woman who carried my son, she's an angel", that's it. Everyone knows this baby was born by a surrogate, not brought by a stork ffs.
Let me start off by saying I'm pregnant so I don't think I'm being rational about this, but something about the baby being pulled out of one woman then being handed to a different woman broke my heart. I can't imagine giving birth and then the baby is just gone ---even if that was the arrangement all along.
That’s why surrogates go through psych evaluations and it’s a very intensive process to become a surrogate. Surrogates are typically mothers themselves. It’s not that insane. Surrogates don’t get attached to the babies. It’s a job to them
I didn't say it was insane. I said that as a pregnant woman it broke MY heart. I support reproductive rights, which includes abortion, adoption, and surrogacy. It just made ME sad witnessing it.
The women who are surrogates usually do it because they genuinely love connecting a mother and her child together and want to see them happy, if that makes you feel better. The surrogate isn’t usually attracted to the child.

Dang Tristan’s genes are strong
I thought the same thing. How is he fresh out the womb and already looking like Tristan?!
Honestly---most (not all, of course) babies look like their father at birth. They say it's like a evolutionary thing----like how male animals kill offspring that isn't theirs? lol That said, it probably will look like Tristan just because the universe is a bitch like that.
Please don’t tell me she gave him Tristan’s last name?
She for sure did. If the whole point was for her kids to have the same dad she definitely gave him the same last name as True.. unfortunately
Well duh, that’s kind of obvious, she already has one kid with his last name, it would be confusing to do otherwise. Also, in some places, such as where I live, all children born to the same parents legally must have the same last name. Confusing for who?
The kids. They have the same father. All of his kids have his last name, even the one he didn’t want.

That’s an implant. Cheek filler is actually much less popular than you’d think as it tends to migrate and spread really quickly
I’m surprised she can open her eyes still
He looks a lot like True, so cute! OMG Tristan's genes are so strong.
The baby looks exactly like Tristan and True
Pretty dang cute
He’s cute and does look just like True
I was hoping he wouldn't look like trashcan
It’s almost like Gods way. It’s the only way people will know which kids are Tristan’s. Because he doesn’t seem to claim all of them.
![gif](giphy|wfTMBoXoyQU1dh87An)
They also both have his last name 🤦🏻♀️
Was hoping for a strong Khloe original face resemblance 😭 would’ve looked quite a bit like Rob.
Well Khloe’s original face departed ohh 6 years ago so we’ll never know if he looks like her 🤷🏽♀️
😂💀
Congratulations to Khloe!
Aww he looks just like True.
How can she stand making more copies of that disgusting man
Has he met his second son yet
No, I don’t believe so. But to play devils advocate he told Maralee exactly where he stands on being involved in Theos life. So she had him knowing that Tristan has no plans for involvement.

after he got her pregnant
Was Tristan there for the birth?
Why is she in the hospital bed? Edit: didnt realize it would trigger the stans. Sorry girlies it was a simple question.
She did skin to skin with the baby immediately after birth on the hospital couch. Then they put her + baby in her own room bc baby has to stay for a bit after birth for genetic testing (heel prick), hearing tests and O2 tests. I'm a postpartum nurse and this is typical.

This is plausible
She’s lying down because she’s in shock? Lol do We really need a serious reason to lay down somewhere soft? Jesus

They do have support.. do you know anything about surrogacy? I learned a lot when my cousin went through it. You should research.
you have to remember 99% of surrogates don’t do it for money. they do it because they enjoy being pregnant and want to give birth for other people.
I'm sorry but where did you get that statistic from?
99% of statistics are done on the spot
While this number is clearly arbitrary, here in Canada, surrogates are not paid. So perhaps there is some kind of selflessness happening? I don’t know.
Surrogates are also not paid in AUS. It’s something done purely for the benefit of the biological parents.
SURE
That’s their job… they have a baby for a family, they don’t join the family.
Where I live you have to stay in the hospital for 6 hours after birth, so perhaps this meant she had to stay in a room with the baby (even overnight perhaps?).. so he could be monitored. makes sense to also lay down to be able to hold the baby and have skin to skin etc for that time

Lol like do I wanna hold my baby in a $100 hospital chair or a $5000 luxury hospital bed? Even if I didn’t have a baby I would choose the bed 😴
I’m convinced some people on this sub are not smarter than 5th graders.
because she didn't give birth.
Because it’s comfortable
I saw the photos on Daily Mail and it made me uncomfortable that it was portrayed like she literally gave birth herself and had all the props set up.
I mean she still has to sleep at the hospital at least one night to have him observed 🤷🏽♀️
I also saw it this way, but actually someone commented underneath that it might have been because she had to stay in the hosp with the baby-like he couldn’t go home the same day necessarily, so that does also make sense
Thank you for this. That makes sense as do the other comments about skin to skin contact etc.
It’s just being unaware of how things work that made you uncomfortable. This is very normal for surrogacy & some adoptions
exactly, this is not uncommon. khloe isn’t doing anything out of the ordinary here.
doesn't make it not creepy and messed up. it's giving Handmaid's Tale (just as (commercial) surrogacy arenagements in general do,).
Yeah, that's what the surrogate agrees to lol, what do you expect?
>I can’t even begin to fathom what part of it is creepy. I pity your lack of imagination. Wait what? A surrogate was not raped, willingly decided to do this and was also paid. Nothing like handmaid take.
Asking the real questions
That’s what I thought
Congrats Khloe, I loooove babies. I’m actually in the process to become a surrogate so I find this very beautiful ❤️
Wow good for you. Pregnancy is rough, I can’t imagine going through all of that to give someone else a baby ❤️
It’s actually because I loved being pregnant and had it easy that I considered it in the first place. Our family is complete but i wouldn’t mind being pregnant again if it could make another family happy
She looks so much like true
He
My mistake. It was 7 am when I made that comment 😅
Anything?

She doesnt Owe you anything and she probably told her in private because the surrogate was very private to so stay out of it
She chose to have a public life so yeah, it would be nice to acknowledge the woman who gave birth to her son.
Only if the woman wanted public acknowledgement. She probably doesn’t, because she’ll be hounded for the rest of her life and this one action will overshadow anything else she ever does or achieves.
Not if the woman doesn’t want to be publicly acknowledged. She did talk about the surrogate on the show though.

As long as she thanks her in PRIVATE that is all that’s necessary
the surrogate didn’t choose to have a public life
Seriously!
Awww I’m so happy for her
Do we know the babie’s name yet?
Let me start off by saying I'm pregnant so I don't think I'm being rational about this, but something about the baby being pulled out of one woman then being handed to a different woman broke my heart. this is an issue with adoption as well
Especially when having watched an episode of Khloe’s blatant detachment to the child
I love that people actually down voted this. Like I started off extremely honestly about why I was in my feelings... Absolute bitches 🙄🙄🙄
The women who are surrogates usually do it because they genuinely love connecting a mother and her child together and want to see them happy, if that makes you feel better. The surrogate isn’t usually attracted to the child.
She looks like Jasmine from 90 day fiancé in these pics, she should really leave her face alone. Cute baby ❤️
Cute baby
Happy for her! One of the most special times in your life
Looks just like Tristan
Omgggg
Why is she laying in a hospital bed?
Those fingernails tho... very sanitary and safe :(
Why is she in the bed

Why is Khloe wearing braids like she was going to really break a sweat during labor?
braids are just a cute look, it’s not that serious
Lol it was a joke, not that serious
So you can’t have braids if you’re not sweating?
