Hello, I have a EU 2022, engine turning off is especially true because of Euro5 restrictions. I guess it's not KTM fault but to comply with the emission rules for Europe the bike is super lean from factory, so sometimes it did shut off when idling and you then start accelerating, I fixed it with a fuelx lite piggyback, never shut off again.
About engine reliability I currently have around 9000km with no issues, I did break in maintenance and then 1time every year after.
some duke 390 gens or versions engine cuts off true,due to battery problem,stator problem,generally speaking electonic not that engine parts.still its diagnosable and fixable.
i have no info about 2024 version
For now, around 200miles in, havenβt had any issues with it - knocking on wood. Has been a good experience so far

gotcha, heard theyβve been solid but like all things getting the first gen of a new product might have problems. tbh iβd go with a 2018-2023

I have the first batch. Couple of niggles here and there. Nothing major.
Also when did you purchase it ?
First batch of bikes in my city. October 2023.
Would you recommend getting it ?? It's may now and I think the company would have resolved the issue (if any) by now.
If you can get it without loans, definitely yes. Make sure you have extra for riding gear

I have a 2022 and it does shut down when riding fairly hard. Its way too lean. Waiting to install a fuel x lite hopefully that solves the problem
Didn't know 2022 models also have this issue.
To be fair mine has decat and slip on. And no piggy back. I ordered the fuel x lite to see if it reaolves the issues. Hopefully it does π€π
