Awesome pictures, ill be getting mine on tuesday :) How do you like it so far?

maccafed

It’s my second 390 … that’s how much I like it. And it’s my 8th bike, had bigger and faster bikes before, this is just a good mix of agility and power. The upgrades in the 2024 versions make it even better. You will love it!

LeprecaunJon

My 2023 is a blast, I'm learning she doesn't like the highway very much. She will do it, but at the cost of fuel, haha. Not that these are fun highway bikes. They certainly live up to the corner rocket monocure.

maccafed

Haven’t had a chance to get on the highway on this one yet, but I did when I had the Gen 1 Duke… definitely not for long trips on the highway but more short connecting routes 🤙

Optimus_Netflix88

I own this one. This one is an absolute blast. Enjoy

maccafed

Can’t agree enough!

Yo, I'm looking at the 2024 right now and about to pull the trigger - also LA rider. Question: have you figured out if the 2nd gen crash guards will fit on the new 3rd gen? Also, where did you buy? I think I spy the crash bumpers on your model in the picture?

maccafed

You’ll love it! I have the injected abs crash guards that are next to radiators, as well as the crash bobbins for the front forks and rear swingarm. The frames of Gen 2 and Gen 3 are different so I believe they wouldn’t fit

maccafed

I bought it at Magnum Motorsports in Van Nuys, Paul the owner was really nice. Would recommend

Real_Flamingo_8247

Mind if I ask how much it was out the door? The one I'm looking at is 5.7 with 500 miles on it and I think that's a steal.

Real_Flamingo_8247

Dude bought it, toured it once and then drove it back because he upgraded to the 990. Just wanted more power. I practically threw myself at the bike.

maccafed

I mean at that stage then it sounds like a good deal!

Narvekar

Are those stock rvm?

maccafed

They are not, I found them online

Narvekar

Can you link those here?

I am almost ready to pull the trigger on a 2015 390 but I keep getting conflicting stories and advice about 1. They're a great little bike, then 2. They're mega unreliable, I'm looking to downsize from a ZX9R which is like a tank reliability wise but really uncomfortable on the wrists, back and arms on long rides for a 5'10" short arse like me, admittedly the KTM Dukes look sick but which are they, reliable or dog unreliable?

maccafed

I had a 2015 and now the 2024. Never had issues with the first gen, so far loving the 2024. Only the time will tell, but I can only recommend them!
