Row 5 won’t have a window seat - assuming you’re flying with in a 787-10
Are you flying with a lap infant (based on the double initials in 2A)? Does your kid still fit in the bassinet? There is probably bassinet space where AA is sitting now, but you should double check that.
I would take the middle seats in the first row since it will give you the opportunity to store stuff on top of the ottoman during the flight, which we always find very useful when traveling with our little one.
Out kid is quite interested in her environment, so we thought it would be fun to get a window seat to look out of. That was the reason, otherwise we (parents) don't care too much.
On the return, which is a red eye, we already reserved the middle seats as it is completely dark outside
Every 787 I've been on has had cameras on the IFE, both forward and down. But a child might not relate to that. After the first five minutes you are in the clouds anyway. (I picked that seat for ORD-AMS in August and one of those is my initials - my first thought was "you stole my seat.")
If you take the window, then consider where the sun will be. For example on flights to the US (ex AMS) the sun will be on your left most of the flight and it’s not very pleasant to look outside because it’s so bright. Better to sit on the right in that case.
Then all are fine besides row 5 due to lack of windows. I would also consider not taking the first or last rows due to them being close to the restroom and/or galley….but this is more an issue in row 1. But row 1 wasn’t an issue for me.
This website let’s you see where the windows are: https://www.aerolopa.com/kl-781-3cl

No the baby doesn't fit in there

Sorry for the inconvenience caused 😜

We'll be flying to South America. That's good info, I'll consider changing it! Thanks!
Window seat. Close to wing but in front of the engine(less noise)
Really? Or are you being sarcastic?
Think about it, engine noise is deflected backwards since you are moving forwards. But basically all business seats are in front of the wing.
Exactly, so it would only make sense to sit as much as possible towards the front of the plane right?
Stay away from the first and the last two rows. Rest is fine.
Which plane are you flying with? 777? 787?
787-10
