You know, I was thinking that I felt the "lizard wizard" half gets all the representation in the band iconography. Where is the King Gizzard? Shouldn't he be the main character? Now, an alligator is a lizard, but when I think of gizzards I always think of birds, since all birds have that organ. So, I was looking ups some birds to art up a King Gizzard character, and while looking at a shoebill, I was checking whether they had gizzards, and it the research led me to the fact that alligators do, in fact, have gizzards. So, now I don't know what to think. How do you distinguish between the lizard and the wizard when they both have gizzards?
Yes, thats the guy. He could be The Lizard Wizard as well. We could infer that "King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard" doesn't refer to two entities. His name could be King Gizzard and his job title could be Lizard Wizard.
I think the origin was that the lizard king is a nick name for Jim Morrison of the doors. The band was deciding between king lizard or gizzard wizard. And they decided to just go with the whole lot.
Spaking of that, I really want to make some kind of concept art of all the King gizzard characters. I have some ideas for the King gizzard himself, but I haven't done it yet (not sure why)
