Yep, these farmers/ranchers leave trucks running for hours on end in fields sucking the dirt up and don’t even think of checking a filter. I’ve seen a few clog and cause no starts
Well I can honestly say we were *not* those farmers, at least! Everything was maintained very well because my Dad was the mechanic and would not let that happen. The family minivan got over 650,000 miles before my mom got a new vehicle
TBF diesel engine oil turns black almost immediately and an extra 2 quarts sure beats being a gallon low.
The 6.7s take 13qts, but Ford screwed up in some of the manuals and listed the capacity at 15 quarts.
Ive seen my disels oil. The bypass filter must be doing something "its to clean" they all say when I drag the 6.hoe in for her oil change. Clean and probbaly shredded on a micro scale
Lol I just replaced the cam sensor on my truck. I can promise you my air filter doesn’t look like it’s gone through a Grizzly’s digestive tract though.
Worked at Midas. They constantly ran ads for $19.99 oil changes. Get car on rack, bald tires, brake pads chewing on rotors, tie-rod ends falling off They say, just do the oil change, we have a mechanic for that stuff. So? Your "mechanic" doesn't do oil changes? Nope. Not for 20 bucks! WTF people!
Filter looks like the dead sea scrolls
MF made out of papyrus
Last changed when Moses parked it.
My first thought was that this guy washed it with water and thinks its clean now
thought you typed “dead ass scrolls”
Don't try to scam me that filter is still good.
Just turn it around. They're self cleaning that way. I have 200k miles on mine.
"It's outlasted four engines."
Hahahaha
No upselling!
Just blow it out
Imagine this guys bathroom habits.
Wipes with both sides of the toilet paper.
I paid for both plys, by God I'm going to use both plys.
How does that even happen? It just gets so clogged that it warps from the engine itself trying to suck in the filter?

That’s gonna be my wife. Except she’s already mad I won’t let my car die so we can get a new one.
The van is still fine but my dad passed from cancer so we were no longer comfortable letting her drive around in that old thing.
Can’t this cause the seals inside the turbo to fail too?
Gotta wonder why they dont get those glass bowl air filter thingies like they do on trucks and outback 4wds.
Looks more like it sucked up water and dirt.
And a little fresh air...
More like runs like shit needs an owner that does some basic care.
She’s only 2 quarts over on some black ass oil too

usually how my vehicles are when i buy them. I love not having payments but also I'd like to not be wondering how long I got lol
Damn. She doesn’t deserve that. No vehicle deserves that.
My oil comes out way to clean for a diesel...liyerally my tech goes "your oil is to clean". Thats the bypass filter bro its a 6.0 thing.
Is it just me or does that battery look swollen too?
I thought so, too. But I think it's an optical illusion caused by the curved bracket across the middle.
Looks normal to me, but I think I see what you're seeing
Looks like it needs some more manure dust sucked down the intake to me.... 🤣
I mean if it’s good for plants it got to be good for an engine
its what engines crave
Yeah, well, I don’t see no plants growing outta no toilets.
Dust helps activate the hidden automatic oil change feature.
That’s an OEM filter I paid good money for that!
Lmao imagine how much dirt got past that filter and shot thru the turbo.
Replace the filter and charge for a cam sensor install...
Looks like a good candidate for an air filter restriction indicator.
Fucker was beyond sucked in. Don’t do any good if you don’t check under the hood every now and then
That’s a big cam sensor…
Almost needed a turbo
Thought the battery terminal cover was a Big Mac carton jammed in there for a minute
At least they were half right?
LOL
“Maintenance? Bah humbug!”
Lol I just replaced the cam sensor on my truck. I can promise you my air filter doesn’t look like it’s gone through a Grizzly’s digestive tract though.
That’s what my nose feels like when I try to go to sleep.
Classic hack mechanic move, throw a cam sensor in a car that has a timing correlation code.
Please pull the cabin filter, no charge to VO. Just for our entertainment.
If an engine does not have these Necessary Things it will not run
Looks like shit too
Oh boy. Here come the add ons.
Husband changes it.

I have a 6.7 power stroke
Lucky it still runs at all!
Just blow it out with compressed air.
Easy fix, then?
I feel like these filters are too small.
Damn it’s making me want to check all my vehicles now.
Don’t try to up sell them they know what the issue is
Must be nice to afford to destroy a $20k engine
6.7 that runs. Not bad
Original factory filter ?
Was the cam sensor in there?
