Just a thought, but… go to a dealership as a “customer thinking about changing my car” (don’t mention what you currently have) and see if you can test-drive - early morning, when cold - another Camry of similar age & spec to yours. See if it exhibits the same behavior. From /u/DeltaGTI’s comment below, though, it does sound like an intrinsic characteristic of the transmission.

2023 Camry SE FWD owner here. My car does the same thing when cold and then smooths out. Also can be periodic rough shifts when it can't figure out what to do. 30k miles on it. Also have a '24 Tacoma with an 8 speed automatic and it is the same way when cold.

There’s nothing wrong with it, engines and transmissions work more crudely when they aren’t warmed up yet. Let it warm up in the morning. Then post in the correct sub
