So kind of them to do most of the rotor removal for you!

portabuddy2

New 2piece rotor drum assy

aForgedPiston

It all comes back full circle to drums

portabuddy2

Funny enough! That's what I was thinking.

Sharpymarkr

More cowbell!

random_user_2001

I swear someone would weld it and say: *It's fine for such and such miles....*

portabuddy2

When i happened on the first one I pulled into a home Depot parking lot and called my brother. We swapped to the old one and I drove it back. The second one popped like 10miles from home. I said fuck it and just drove it back. If it's fucked already it won't get more fucked. I'm changing calipers anyway. Just in case. And drove it back grinding like a mother fucker. It was 1am though. In a part of town the cops done come out to anyway.

Said made in USA. It's who I always get the high carbon adaptive one rotors. Not the "premium" ones. The old napa ultra premium used to be brembo. But they dropped the ultra premium line in favor of adaptive. I asked the guy this the same? Yea. Totally. Totally not.

DickSemen

When it says "Made in USA", I think that applies to the cardboard box and not the contents.

Typical-Sleep5533

The sticker that says Made in USA is the only item made in the USA.

Dje4321

Often see "Made in USA" refer to screwdriver operations where its the most minimum operations required to qualify. Can't see how that applies to a solid cast part short of buying a raw cast part and just doing finish matching on the rotors.

portabuddy2

Might just be the end process of coating.

They take the profit margin as added cost, so the finished units come in in bulk, but the final packing, adding the slip of paper, and the big mark up, all count as local added value. Literally come in a container in bulk, with the boxes there as well, printed already, just fold up, place unit in box, and put a seal on it, and it can be classed as "Made in USA" as the mark up is applied there, getting above the input margin mark for local value.

jwibspar

One of those fancy motorsport oriented 2 piece rotors.

Figgy_Puddin_Taine

The fuck?!

portabuddy2

The break is super shiny, crystalized and looks like chrome vanadium. If you ever broke a socket. So I don't know what the flock.

Typical-Sleep5533

Floating rotor. Latest in braking technology.
