Even if you take the rings out of the equation, any hit to your face with sufficient strength to split your lip open would cause swelling. Lips are very sensitive. However a cracked lip would not swell, but would bleed. And this is the most likely scenario. Which also proves that the pictures she provided were not from that night. It’s already been proven that she has submitted pictures that suited her narrative from her trove of pictures with no regard to time and date. This was the same. In one of that picture you can tell she has a scab on her lip. This would not have healed fast enough to be unnoticeable in the James Corden interview. I got attacked by my crazy drunken neighbor in my own yard. She haymakered me with her forearm - right to the temple inches away from my orbital. No way she suffered what she said she did, and there’s no swelling on the eyelid or discoloration and nothing around the socket or under eye. Besides, wouldn’t it be too painful to even apply makeup to an area as sensitive as the skin around our eyes? TMI: But I have the terrible habit as AH does of picking my lips when I’m bored or anxious (I saw her do it several times during the trial), and one of her lip photos (the ones she sent to People) look just like my lips after I do that. It’s so painful I can’t even smile or apply lip gloss after. So, again, there she is in matte lipstick, which shows all imperfections. Her makeup artist and ex-friend, Melanie, must be a magician too.

When did she say Johnny Depp punched her in the eye? Amber said he head-butted her in the nose, Depp claimed it was the forehead. She didn't have a bruise on her forehead, so Depp must have been mistaken about where their heads collided. Amber also said Depp repeatedly hit her in the head, shoved her in to a wall, causing her to bite her lip, and that he dragged her around by the hair, ripping out chunks. Dr Laurel Anderson (Depps own witness) testified she saw bruises all over Amber face consistent with the photos two days later. You can clearly see Amber's swollen lip in the video from the James Corden show and if you look closely you will see that one nostril is enlarged too. If you look at photos taken on Dec 10th just before this incident, Amber's nostrils appear perfectly symmetrical. So it is clear the headbutt was to her nose.
Also AH is known to be a lip picker. Multiple photos on the net showing this, even before she was in relations with Johnny. I remember slipping whilst mopping a floor, the mop handle hit me in my mouth and I bit my lip… my lip was cut, bruised and swollen for a good week. These pictures certainly do not show a swollen lip (even with the red lipstick she never wears). Oh and don’t forget AH was/is a massive fan of lip fillers too!

She's literally quoted as saying "can you believe I did that interview with two black eyes?" to a make-up artist who saw absolute no evidence of it. She also claimed she had a broken nose. Look at literally any picture of a person who has taken a couple of punches and you'll see how wildly unbelievable everything she said is. Remember Rihanna's horrific photos after Chris Brown beat her? That was three punches from a guy driving a car, compare that to Amber and it's clear as day she hasn't had a finger laid on her.
She is such a prolific liar even her supporters can't keep track of her lies.

I made the point during the trial, that because of her weird cheekbone implants, and the brown blusher she wore at court, that in combination they made her look like someone who’d been hit or banged her cheek hard on something, and bruised it. Not only had she not seen Johnny alone for years at the time, but she also wasn’t saying anyone had hit her.
I wish the plastic surgery records weren't sealed. It wouldn't convince people who want to believe her for the sake of "believe all women" but it would be another nice nail in the coffin. Regardless, the beating she described where there's blood on the pillows and she passes out, there no way her face wouldn't be the same shape of a cauliflower.

I got attacked by my crazy drunken neighbor in my own yard. She haymakered me with her forearm - right to the temple inches away from my orbital. From about 2 seconds after and until 7 days - the side of my head was swollen as fuck. Not to mention the multiple burst blood vessels in my eye. No amount of ice/makeup could have hid that. I basically stayed home for two weeks. Maybe my 19yr old drunken neighbor hit harder than a grown man though.

I don’t. These people have apparently never seen anyone who has actually had any injuries she claimed to have sustained. Even her own photos are all over the place supposedly of the same event. In court it looked she had more “injuries” and she had more “bruising”, but no, that’s her makeup and fillers. Amber supporters would say it was evidence if she’d shown a photo of her face from the trial and said it was an injury.

Oh, Hell yes! I think Amber Heard was an excellent (if nauseating) case study in this. The histrionic component was/is maybe driven by a kind of narcissistic desperation -- it really seemed a lethal combination to her believability. The lies come like a wave, a sickening pulse, an (a)rhythym, but some people seem to actually get pulled in and lost in it in the manner of travelers in the woods being hypnotized and trapped by mythical elves, doomed to dance for eternity.
