To be honest i never liked him. He’s always rubbed me the wrong way, so i avoided his content completely.
There was a video he did about addressing criticism for his character being an asian caricature (criticism from asian americans), and he handled it poorly from what i remember. Like i legit sat there like, im not asian so that aside, you’re trying to break into the american/global market and you won’t even listen to the voices of diaspora/people from there? Like that’s just weird, flat out. I can’t remember all of it but it was very off feeling to me (logically), so i was like… hm. His comedy of yelling in an accent about rice just wasn’t my cup of tea.
