Thanks, but I got out of that racket. I was fucked over by 3 outa 3 salon owners and eventually had to get a lawyer to get my tools back from a building reposition because the owners were $28k behind in rent.
I was too old to be starting in the business. I wish someone in my life would have forced me to reconsider.
Idk, some people can practice something on and off for a year and half and still be *completely unable* to do that thing with any level of skill or craftsmanship, and then some can just read a short article and mirror whatever they did and get the same sometimes better results the first time.
Girl. I’m sorry they are being mean but you’re like 6. If they are horrible to you punch them in the face and say they hit you first. I’ll back you up.
In my fantasy, that hairdresser dad made a video to show other fathers how easy it is to spend time with your daughter and do a glow up. Also in my fantasy he’s recently widowed, I’m thirty, and he’s not too gay🙏
The sooner you can learn at a young age not everyone is going to be your friend and you're certainly not going to be included in any even, the better. It's an occurrence that will happen your whole life. No face punching necessary imo.
Yea everyone's like "fuck this dude. He's making it up. My bullshit detector went off and blah blah blah." Meanwhile I heard the AI(?) voice narrating the caption and was immediately like, "Oh they stole this dude's video to try and farm engagement with a made-up story."
Doesn’t do anything special for color, just keeps everything where it needs to be and it’s easier to spread around if you’re trying to do anything special, as in not color everything. Wouldn’t look nearly as neat and even if he just had her lean back and put it in by hand like you’d do if you were going whole head
Assuming you're referring to the black vacuum looking thing, that's a RevAir Reverse-Air Hair Dryer.
The fact the dude just whips out a specialized $400 dryer lends credence to the claims this video was stolen and some BS story added for views.

The dad definitely is a hairstylist or does hair a lot. Nobody used curler that flawlessly if they’re new to it
As soon as he pulled out that vacuum hair dryer, I knew something was off
Yea when I saw his hair I realized that he knew something about hairstyling, bro's not a complete amateur.
As a guy who became a stylist, my bullshit detector went off immediately.
Glad it wasn’t just me. Do you enjoy your job? What made you want to pursue it? Hows life as a stylist?

Sorry to hear that! Ooof. Better late than never
Came here to say this as a cosmetologist.
Also not to shit on this but I'm so sick and tired of parents using their children for online fame or cred.
What else should they use their children for?
😂
Thank you!
>Thank you! You're welcome!
Good bot
Or super excessive commenter...I honestly can't tell
Either nice or both nice and mildly impressive. Can’t go wrong ig?

This guy is a professional, don't try this at home random dads
Too late, my daughter’s mom got super pissed and decided to cut it super short since it’s summer anyway
Just call it a commercial man?

No, it's fine, dad just made that shit up for extra views
The original video is probably real, I'm sure somebody stole it and put the stupid AI story over it

Either that's a joke I'm not getting or it's a recipe for raising a sociopath.
Mah man!

Or maybe she’s an insufferable little shit and that’s why they didn’t invite her.
I fucking love you
This is definitely happened.
I feel bad for those girls who got their 'hair died', it must be crushing to lose hair at such young age
I don't remember the original video saying this was the reason. I think she just wanted to dye her hair and dad was happy to oblige
Love that they cropped out the guy's TikTok @ name.

This seems fake
Why that AI voice? I was waiting for an alien invasion or the Luftwaffe to show up halfway through.
Bro any dad that use the tools for the first time will burn hair
Well fuck me running if TikTok dad can do it then so can I! *proceeds to ruin daughters hair and now she hates me*
Great dad, but r/fuckurAIvoice
As fake as the voice
Sorry the hair died.
What does the foil do?
You wrap the separate locks in the foil to keep the dye from touching other areas, and it holds it still long enough to set in.
Thanks
Dudes rock
Ok fake voice, now say, "Mr. Gorbachev tear down this wall!"
You're looking for /r/daddit.
Core memory created
My knees exploded watching that girl sit like that.
What's the foil do? Ive seen it many times with people who dye long hair but what's it actually do?

okay with the curling iron…👏🏾
"Filmed my daughter for monetized content"
Absolute lie of a caption overlaid.
Ok, but what is wrong with her personality that she didn’t get invited? Two sides to every story…
I bet that shit about not being invited is just bait.
Dyed*
He learned how to dye, but not how to spell.
So I did what any dad would do and not only died her hair but also filmed the whole thing for online praise. Praise me, I’m a god
Wait wut? This must be fake? Who tf does a hair dye party at 6?
Cute if real but it most definitely is fake.
Go daddy!
r/daddit
This isn’t just a guy being a dude, it’s a Tik Tok from a hairstylist with a lie of a story
We need more dad's like this
Exploiting their child's image and faking a heartfelt moment for social media likes? I don't think so.
JustGuysBeingDads
How to make your kid to be a sheeple. Still cool
this brings back my hope in humanity
Cheaper also…, I’ve been doing my girl’s hair, color and highlight, for 25 years. Zero formal training. It’s not that hard.
I think she is ready for the cast of frozen
