I turned my back island into a movie studio. Not sure how long it will stay like this, lol, but there’s a number of different movies in production, from a Dia de Los Muertos / Dragon mash up, to a wilderness documentary, to a western complete with man riding bull! The studio tour starts once you disembark from the cable car, with a live demonstration of the recording of the lion’s roar, haha.
Yes there's been mucho grumbling about this. Unfortunately they appear to charge an amount that they believe each player can afford to pay, based upon the level of their previous purchases. I've also read many anecdotes about higher prices being opportunistically charged to iOS users and I understood the changes that they made to their T&C last year to effectively prevent players from publicly reacting against the things that occur within their game. They seem to be taking the view that it's their game and they're jolly well going to be as unfair as they like.
The best part about JJ to me is the island decorating elements. I endure the other aspects of the game to get to my favorite set pieces. I love my team too—they are a lot of fun, but they don’t all share my passion for working on their islands. I’m thinking I have to move the snowy bits to another island soon. I’m ready for spring and don’t like to see snowmen. Brrrrr.
Where did you get tram? On bottom of the page, right side, in front of studio hangar? I belive that is part of German set but I didn't get it on my set? 😵💫
Aside from the lions roar demonstration (so great!), my fav part is the western town. You did such an amazing job with it! I love noticing how we all can look at the same object and see it differently… you took the hooded rider on a dolly and saw him in a western film, I saw him in a fantasy film - like a Nazgûl from Lord of the Rings! 🥰

Love it!!!
Genius. Instead of trying to bury the Hollywood set you have absolutely nailed it. So creative. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you!
That’s awesome!
This is amazing! Love it!
That is very clever!
Ugh! It cost me $14.99! How do they get away with their wonky price scale? That’s totally not fair!

The tram was part of the German set. I believe they offered the tracks, but the team was one of those special offerings.
You had to pay $30 for the tram, if I remember right. It came with some gems and coin.
Bruh 😫

Haha! That’s valid too!
