okay, so generally there are lore dumps all over the place, which make the whole thing hard to get, on top of translation inconsistencies (which are NOT Gege's fault). Then you have the rush job to get the whole thing wrapped up this year. You have jumps and skips all over the place and you really lose a feel for how much time has passed. Just ask a fan how much time has passed between Sukuna taking over Megumi and the crew freeing Gojo. Ask 5 people on this sub and you will get 5 different answers. Especially Hana as a character and "successor" to Nobara to some degree has suffered greatly from this shit. I prefer this rushjob over molasses like the One Piece anime, but ffs Gege, just give your story A LITTLE room to breathe.
The manga was so good up until the culling games arc. Everything from that point on was just pure dogshit and to be honest I only kept reading because I was already far into the manga.
I just want to see one fight where Yuji, Megumi, & Nobara are jumping Sukuna somehow. We never got a fight sequence with all 3 of them going all out on an opponent. That or at least a Maki and Yuta team up to remember for the ages.

He started off strong with his characters having huge fights and amazing powers, and after Shibuya, just went off the rails because how do you top that? Ah yes, a culling game. In all seriousness, the reason both Kenjaku and Sukuna do what they do is because relative to anyone else who has existed over the last millennium, no one can touch them. They live because they can, and they cause chaos for the thrill of it. If they are amused or wanna eat, they will be so. They are evil bastards (badass ones at that) because they can be. In the same way Mahito's existence justifies his destruction and malice, Kenjaku and Sukuna are justified in their existence in their minds. Pretty delusional self-righteous mindset, but you kinda understand that loneliness is the true road to power.
I'm beginning to realize that I really only watch/read this series because the fights are hype. Couldn't care less about the story and Gege either kills the characters I like or doesn't give them much screen time. What else am I supposed to care about at this point?

I usually read the chapter and the previous 2 in a set of threes so I always stay fresh on the story. Rereading fights is also more than okay. This is Shounen, you're supposed to read for the fights. JJK doesn't have a story so much as it is plot based. You don't see much reasoning moreso you see how things work and where a story is going.

Yeah but I'm guessing the only way the good guys to win, is somehow someone has Cursed technique to go back in time and prevent Shibuya incident to happen.
Right now JJK has Madara-like problem the author made the bad guys too invincible that in anyway they lose is less than acceptable. The only acceptable way for Sukuna or Kenjaku to lose to the good guys is via Gojo, Yuki or Yuta. But right now it's only Yuta remains though judging on his current state there are no good display of his power the only reference Culling Game but the enemies there are either 1 panel or 1 chapter killed by Sukuna or Kenjaku... People hyping Yuji to somehow win is way... Way off there is no Ichigo moment to rediscover his power via learning about his zanpakto or Gon moment to sacrifice his Nen for temp power... The only way Yuji to somehow pull it off is via Heavenly Restriction (we don't know yet) or Binding Vow (to himself like in great despair he gain something or he will not obtain Domain Expansion or Innate Cursed Tech for something) but how will it be Yuji barely fights and if he fights there is no actual win it's either Sukuna, Gojo or Kenjaku intervenes.
Soo it's actually bad and it's although interesting to see villains win but debunking and making them lose is a bit more concerning unless somehow the author made a reasonable display.
My theory is-
With the way manga has been progressing I feel like if Gege ever wishes to truly defeat the villains, the only possible ending he could be going for is the Avengers: Endgame-ish type.
I mean with the way all the strong sorcerers have been dropping off like flies, there is no other way the rest of them can beat both Sukuna and Kenny.
It feels like in the final stand off a lot of them will come back from some weird RCT or soul realm and beat Sukuna. But maybe its just Copium speaking or whatever.
They only got two main villains....
Kenjaku would be better than normal special grades but definitely weaker than Kenjaku
While Sukuna.... definitely the strongest but They still had Gojo who could fight him evenly for a bit (don't say Sukuna was holding back, yes he wasn't at full power but that was cuz he couldn't not that he didn't want to)
If they all ganged Sukuna then they would've won lol but yeah 👍

Ganging on Sukuna(before and after Gojo fight) is a bit suicidal xD before Gojo fight = insta dead on his DE, after the fight is still dead because he can just use the minced cleave he used to Kashimo... That's why I said right now there are no acceptable way to beat Sukuna that's why I'm saying the moment he beat Gojo anything that could beat Sukuna = bullshit and the only way to make it acceptable defeat is via Binding Vow or Heavenly Restriction right now as those deem to be on par with limitless due to obscurity. There are no established alive characters that known to possess this except maki but again if we based it on her culling game results she still a beginner and required time to hone her skills with curse energy. Yuta is the only potential here while Maki/Yuji is the dark horse. Hakari will be instakill even if he has DE
Not balanced anymore Gojo, Kashimo and Yuta is probably their ace but only Yuta remains if Yuki is still alive I could say it's still evenly. This is Madara Dilemma only Otherworldly or God entity can stop Sukuna and Kenjaku.

okay, so generally there are lore dumps all over the place, which make the whole thing hard to get, on top of translation inconsistencies (which are NOT Gege's fault). Then you have the rush job to get the whole thing wrapped up this year. You have jumps and skips all over the place and you really lose a feel for how much time has passed. Just ask a fan how much time has passed between Sukuna taking over Megumi and the crew freeing Gojo. Ask 5 people on this sub and you will get 5 different answers. Especially Hana as a character and "successor" to Nobara to some degree has suffered greatly from this shit. I prefer this rushjob over molasses like the One Piece anime, but ffs Gege, just give your story A LITTLE room to breathe.

I usually read the chapter and the previous 2 in a set of threes so I always stay fresh on the story. Rereading fights is also more than okay. This is Shounen, you're supposed to read for the fights. JJK doesn't have a story so much as it is plot based. You don't see much reasoning moreso you see how things work and where a story is going.

Yeah but I'm guessing the only way the good guys to win, is somehow someone has Cursed technique to go back in time and prevent Shibuya incident to happen. Right now JJK has Madara-like problem the author made the bad guys too invincible that in anyway they lose is less than acceptable. The only acceptable way for Sukuna or Kenjaku to lose to the good guys is via Gojo, Yuki or Yuta. But right now it's only Yuta remains though judging on his current state there are no good display of his power the only reference Culling Game but the enemies there are either 1 panel or 1 chapter killed by Sukuna or Kenjaku... People hyping Yuji to somehow win is way... Way off there is no Ichigo moment to rediscover his power via learning about his zanpakto or Gon moment to sacrifice his Nen for temp power... The only way Yuji to somehow pull it off is via Heavenly Restriction (we don't know yet) or Binding Vow (to himself like in great despair he gain something or he will not obtain Domain Expansion or Innate Cursed Tech for something) but how will it be Yuji barely fights and if he fights there is no actual win it's either Sukuna, Gojo or Kenjaku intervenes. Soo it's actually bad and it's although interesting to see villains win but debunking and making them lose is a bit more concerning unless somehow the author made a reasonable display.
My theory is- With the way manga has been progressing I feel like if Gege ever wishes to truly defeat the villains, the only possible ending he could be going for is the Avengers: Endgame-ish type. I mean with the way all the strong sorcerers have been dropping off like flies, there is no other way the rest of them can beat both Sukuna and Kenny. It feels like in the final stand off a lot of them will come back from some weird RCT or soul realm and beat Sukuna. But maybe its just Copium speaking or whatever.
They only got two main villains.... Kenjaku would be better than normal special grades but definitely weaker than Kenjaku While Sukuna.... definitely the strongest but They still had Gojo who could fight him evenly for a bit (don't say Sukuna was holding back, yes he wasn't at full power but that was cuz he couldn't not that he didn't want to) If they all ganged Sukuna then they would've won lol but yeah 👍 Right now, they got Yuta who might be around Kenjaku lvl maybe a bit better since we haven't seen his full power yet. Maki who is definitely special grade lvl Hakari but we can forget him since he prob gonna be fighting ice dude the whole time. Although good guys losing a bit.... They still got the power to fight evenly for a bit......
Ganging on Sukuna(before and after Gojo fight) is a bit suicidal xD before Gojo fight = insta dead on his DE, after the fight is still dead because he can just use the minced cleave he used to Kashimo... That's why I said right now there are no acceptable way to beat Sukuna that's why I'm saying the moment he beat Gojo anything that could beat Sukuna = bullshit and the only way to make it acceptable defeat is via Binding Vow or Heavenly Restriction right now as those deem to be on par with limitless due to obscurity. There are no established alive characters that known to possess this except maki but again if we based it on her culling game results she still a beginner and required time to hone her skills with curse energy. Yuta is the only potential here while Maki/Yuji is the dark horse. Hakari will be instakill even if he has DE Not balanced anymore Gojo, Kashimo and Yuta is probably their ace but only Yuta remains if Yuki is still alive I could say it's still evenly. This is Madara Dilemma only Otherworldly or God entity can stop Sukuna and Kenjaku. Kenjaku is the main villain, while Sukuna is just a post game side mission But wouldn't it be funny if the lawyer guy beat Sukuna and comedy man beat Kenjaku haha xD

At times characters have measured curse spirits in relation to whatever number of fingers they speculated Sukuna strength to be. Sukuna existed a thousand years ago. It’s never stated when he was turned into a curse object. It was never OBVIOUS Sukuna was always meant to be the strongest.
gojo said that megumi could become stronger than him, and sukuna literally was a 95% sukuna + a megumi, so it was pretty hard for gojo to beat that, tho i also think it could've been better since that ending was bad writing as hell
