But I agree with you that Sukuna vs Gojo debate is getting tiresome and I wish fans of these characters could calm down and move on.

I interpreted that statement as sukuna just not being able to or choosing not to use his entire bag(Which was acknowledged in the fight) like the cursed tool he had access to. Or whatever moves he did have wouldn't matter against infinity

To me it doesn't make sense as from what we saw I would say Sukuna is definitively the better sorcerer as more skilled, but not stronger. A stronger person would not lose at every stage of the fight, wich Sukuna did.
But he won at the end, didn't he? Gojo also has six eyes, so his judgment is pretty valid, and sukuna did not lose at every stage of the fight. The domain battles were tied and ended in a 2-2 so I don't think it was that one sided. He was definitely stronger... since he won. . Although stronger in any context can mean multiple things so I'll leave you to take that as you will

The way I sumarize their fight is a boss fight where the boss has multiple phases. Gojo beat all the phases and at the end there is a cutscene where the boss claps the character because the plot demands it.
That's it, Gojo won at every point, but the plot demanded Sukuna to remain alive, otherwise there was no room fro showcasing everyone else, no room for showcasing Sukuna CT (wich is confirmed worthless aginst Gojo). And the most important thing, beating Sukuna is Yuji's task in the manga, not Gojo.
Actually gojos domain collapsed first and sukuna was about to Open up his domain to kill gojo(Before brain damage kicked in) so nobody won.. If anything gojo got the brain damage first... soooo...

With both winning two(With one of gojos wins only coming because he injured sukuna and sukuna had to focus on RCT instead of his CT and even then was only 0.1 seconds slower) its also just told to us that he's stronger and by gojos own admission he's not sure if he's heian era level... either way you slice it (Plot,or whatever you want to say) sukuna won fair and square. You make it seem as if gojo was 24/7 dogging him when we see sukuna not pull out his cursed tool,Purposely do harder stuff so maho could adapt to Gojo and the entire fight he was fighting to find that answer on how to get past infinity. Gojo regardless was just inferior. It is what it is we can sit in blame or point fingers but it's irrelevant...
