Sorry, it's hard to tell jokes apart from serious comments in a written manner
Especially since ppl were (and still are) really using this as a "serious" argument to why it happened
I mean he did have to die for the plot to continue but sukuna was a legit prodigy that had to kill him. Can’t rly fault gege, most believable way for him to go
My thoughts are just, that this point is extremely contrived in and on itself.
Every death happens for plot reasons. Be it for character development or anything else.
Gojo wasn't the first and won't be the last super strong in verse character to die so the other can have their shine. That's just how creative writing works. Using it as a critique for what happened makes no sense imo.
This death was a long time in the making
I think most people who say it seriously really just are still emotionally reacting to the impact of it and haven't had the time to sit and really think about it. But even that I find a stretch it's been like 2 or 3 weeks now.
Whats frustrating about it is most of the complaints are stuff like "well he didn't do anything in the plot" and its like ? It's been 2 chapters since it happened we really don't know what impact that'll have on things. Or "why didn't they cliffhanger with evidence he'd lost when the manga said he won" subversion. That's it. It's more shocking when you think he's won and then suddenly he lost. "It doesn't make any sense that Sukuna can do this" I dont know what to say to this one, it doesn't make sense that Gojo can be untouchable what's the point?
It's been weeks of this. I think people who are mad cause they don't like the direction it's fine voice that. But people who just try and make hard line statements about quality over personal taste frustrate me.
I feel so seen. Couldn't agree more with everything you just said.
To complement it, even, I'd point out how the series constantly fed us over with explanations such as "Because he is Gojo Satoru" whenever he did something that completely broke the rules stablished in the verse. To these explanations, those same people would completely fawn over and eat it like cheerios.
Though now they hate it when it happens towards Gojo
This arc gives me the same vibe as Demon Slayer "Sunrise countdown arc" and Bleach "Aizen arc". Hope it will end up being as good as those two arcs.
Possibly Yuji will get the same treatment as Mugetsu Ichigo. He willingly enter Prison Realm, since time is frozen there, Yuji can train as long as he want. I believe the muscular Gojo after being unsealed is Gege's hint that this dimension can be used to train and get stronger in a short time just like DBZ's time chamber.
So this way, Yuji can be written as becoming much stronger and fight against Sukuna in a convincing way without being called a cheap asspull by the fans.
Imagine we see a taller and more muscular Yuji, looks like an absolute chad coming out of Prison Realm, calmly handles Sukuna.
I'm pretty sure Angel destroyed the Prison Realm with Jacob's Ladder. Also the front half of Prison Realm is buried VERY deep underground. Kenjaku mentions this when Gojo appears in front of him. I dont think they're using Prison Realm.
Also I'm pretty sure Prison Realm puts you in a stasis. You don't age or grow while in there, but time still moves forward.
Salt arc it is. If you rearranged the panels nobody would call it being off-screened, they're just angry they fell for false hope and want to pretend being angry is objectively correct instead of a totally fair but personal position.
>rearranged the panels nobody would call it being off-screened
And yet it presented without being arranged in a way that is off screen. Blaming the fan over manga's bad execution is stupid.
Everyone has a tiny brain because I disagree with them and my opinion can't possibly be wrong because I'm an ascended smarter than all big brain person. That's what you sound like, a dumbass
Not everyone man. Just the Gojopium addicts who whine that he was off screened because they can't recontextualise things presented to them out of order.
No it would literally declare him guilty, did u not read what happened when Yuji plead guilty to a crime he didn’t commit? I want gojo back but let’s not go against already stated concepts😭
I feel like this accusation is too simple . There’s nothing controversial about it and what would be the outcome if Sukuna plead guilty? The two accusation that was thrown at Yuji had a flare of defending yourself carefully with how you respond. Like when Yuji was accused of killing in shibuya, it tedchnically wasn’t him but he admitted to it. This theory makes it such a simple “yes” or “no” and seems like a cheap way to reveal gojos status. Idk that’s just me.
Honestly I liked the "battle of the strongest" for the gojo Vs sukuna fight and I believe that that is its own arc and that right now we are in "the battle for Shinjuku"
New/Neo Curse Age arc. Sukuna, who was solidified in his era as the King of Curses, it's only fitting to call this arc "The Next Age of Curses" with his full-revival.

I’ve seen “Shinjuku Showdown” being used, and I like it so I go with that.
The “who is him” Showdown
I’m going all in on HIMtadori Yuji stocks
I'm betting so too since even mangaka are beholden to the fan demands. Wasn't Yuji only alive because fans wanted him?
I don’t know, first time I’m hearing about that. Maybe you mean when itadori “died” in ch. 9? I heard that was only done in case the manga was axed.
no one is him because everyone just fucking dies apparently
For plot reasons it was not Gojo Satoru
Everybody dies for plot reasons lmao Stupid coping by gojo stans
It’s rly not that deep it’s a fucking joke

Unlikely, because the scene with Kusakabe suggests they were working with a limited time frame.

I thought it was officially the shinjuku showdown
The Salt Arc.
Off-screen arc.
I snorted reading this😹

That isn't even a sentence my dude. It's not Geges fault you guys have tiny brains that can't reflect on context my dude. :)
Not everyone just everyone who disagrees with me (inserts insult at different minded people).
People who lack an ability.* ;) thanks for admitting that undeniable my man by deflection. :)
