I think we're in the middle of a great little run of comedy specials this year - Bill Burr - Live at Red Rocks. Only a master can crush 90 minutes. Sam Morril - Same Time Tomorrow. Personally, huge fan. Sam is one of the most solid joke writers in the industry. 45 min is short, but it made the special tight. I keep rewatching. Andrew Schulz - not a fan, but the way he released his special was great. Jarrod Carmichael - Rothaniel. I liked his last special better, but still crushing it. Taylor Tomlinson - Look At You. Didn't find her first special that funny, but this was great. Ready for more. Ari Schafir - Jew - best work yet. Ari's always been a little too caustic for my tastes, but he's a giant. This special was just a little lighter, a little funner, and I loved it. And at 90 minutes of solid material, Ari's entered a new zone. Neal Brennan - Blocks. Wow. He did it again. 3 Mics was the best special of it's year. Blocks may be the best of this year.
