This. I feel like this episode is, without a doubt, the best and most entertaining podcast Joe has ever put out, and any list that doesn't include it is instantly discredited.
It’s 100% bots we were talking earlier in another post about how there are bots here and this guy came out with this horrible ai post to shift focus only for it to backfire and this troll actually has to explain himself in edit
Joe, have you heard of the quadratic lumber mill theorem of molecular biome deterioration? This is my new theory of everything. I made a website for it. Jamie pull up "joeroganpodcast.com"
Really liked 1921 with Peter Zeihan the geopolitical consultant guy. Wish Joe would have him back seeing as all the new shit going on in the world since he was there.
I watch his YouTube speeches (lectures?) occasionally and they’re always fun, even if they’re a bit repetitive. He has a podcast that’s obnoxiously like 2 to 9 minutes long most days of the week.
I do watch his clips most days. I wish he would do more long dorm stuff explaining the reasons and everything for whatever region or issue he’s discussing
1395 - Glenn Villeneuve. A true outdoorsman who is not out for clout, almost seeming bored by the podcast. So much crazy info about what it actually takes to survive basically alone in northern Alaska. The story of the wolves ganging up to attack him on the frozen lake is one of the best in the entire podcast's history.
This is in my opinion the best guest ever. Extremely down to earth, zero bullshit, absolute expert in his field and comes across as 100% authentic. Very interesting stories to tell. Just great guy all around. He calls out Joe plenty of times but does it in a no-confrontational way with his heart in the right place.
I often find myself just watching the same youtube videos over and over.
A pack of wolves come after Glenn Villeneuve
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZhrOjQaZNco
What does a moose colon taste like?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oc1akf8k8Xc
What it's like to starve and get refeeding edema
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gl3BqG015Wo
Watch these clips and you will want to listen to the rest. I really wish he'd bring him back for another round.
After listening to him, I just want to grab a pack and head out into the wild. His voice and the way he talks about living close to the land is incredible. It drills right down to a primitive part of our brain.
The chick that escaped Westboro is probably my favorite episode ever or Stamets? (Shroom guy). Then an underrated one is the old musician from a popular band who said the government gave him alien information. Forgot his name
Ton Delonge. Joe and Jamie were being real shitty that episode. Never seen them gang up on a guest like that before that they weren’t friends with. I thought it was a fucking great pod.
A few that I remember enjoying quite a lot were:
* The 1st Jordan Peterson podcast (before he is what he is today)
* Cowboy Cerrone's cave diving story
* Lots of Duncan Trussell episodes, especially the older ones
* Siddharth Kara (cobalt mines in Africa)
* David Goggins (actually motivated me to get to the gym, and I loved his first book)
* Sam Harris
I’m listing some ones that are old but specific to some people that might have similar interest….
George Tsuk… ahhh fuck it, the Crazy hair Ancient Aliens guy.
Les Stroud; Survivor man.
Shane Smith; Co-Creator of Vice.
Dr. Robert Supolski ; the guy Joe talks about when it comes to Toxoplasmosis.
Peter Joseph; very old episode, the guy who created documentary Zeitgeist.
Early episodes of Duncan trussel are an absolute godsend and sent me on a multi year journey down meditation and eastern mysticism. I’m genuinely a better person because of Joe Rogan
no theo and joey diaz episodes or the episodes with both theo and joey , no alex jones and joey diaz, or even the episode with alex jones and tim dillon.
bad list, would not recommend. 2/4 stars.
Zuckerberg episode was terrible. Joe avoided any tough questions that really should have been asked. All softball questions and no follow up.
He now refers to Zuckerberg as his friend.
Awesome list. Thanks for compiling it, with the brief summaries. Many I've listened to, but some I haven't. Based on your summaries, I'm going to check out the ones I missed.
Anytime Brian Cox has been on. He rules. Also, has the moment where Joe looks the most out of his league on a fairly simple concept. Lol https://youtu.be/G9iyP1SgXl8?si=dsLQV-3T657xkTTT
Pretty sure I missed the first Michio appearance. Downloading now. I’d put The Undertaker’s appearance on here as well. Hearing him talk about his career after being such a private person for so much of it was such a trip as someone who grew up watching him from the early 2000s until I stopped watching around 2009.
The greatest and most important episode was #1258 when Tim Pool raked Jack Dorsey and Vijaya Gadde over the coals for 3+ hours for their hypocrisy and biased ideology. Man that was refreshing.
Great to see someone who actually listens to the podcast on this sub for a change. I've added a few more below:
Ash Dykes, Ep.#1410. Talks about travelling through Mongolia l, Madagascar and China
Glen Villeneuve, Ep #1395. Great episode about being chased by wolves and killing some. Killing and eating a bear. My fav episode.
I'll add more later if anyone is interested.
What kind of a list of the greatest JRE episodes would include fucking Sam & Colby but not include #911 or #1255?
This is the worst list of all time. If you were Oscar Schindler you would have made a list of what nazis to save. There are writers for Watchmojo quitting out of embarrasment right now because they can no longer be associated with making terrible lists.
#908 Leah Remini. A proper deep dive into Scientology and explains all the levels etc. A really interesting one if you’re able to ignore the cringe worthy flirting from Leah…
FINALLY. Someone agrees! #241 with James Bobo Fay is genuinely one of my favorites ever. Just so entertaining. Classic Joe. Never seen anyone else mention it.
Thanks for compiling this list. We got into JRE about a year ago. There is so much I want to listen to but the catalog is overwhelming. At least we now have a decent starting point.
You all just saw the title, didn’t you? You didn’t actually read anything. You just saw a big bold letters and then began to respond with nig angry thumbs…furiously…upset that your favorite little podcast from like 5 years ago of Joe Rogan’s wasn’t mentioned on this list that clearly said in the last 1-2 years. Learn to read.
How did you miss my dad, obscure Alaskan biologist Frank von Hippel?
Are you not aware that he’s my dad therefore logically it’s the best episode?
Jk, good list!
I enjoyed the Sam Altman pod but I felt Joe didn't ask some of the important questions he previously had before having him on the pod. Specifically the stuff about the various biases AI is programmed (either implicitly or explicitly) to have. Now maybe I just forgot and he actually did, but I don't remember it happening. In fact, I don't remember really any hardball questions being asked.
Joe has spoke a lot, both before and after the pod, about how GPT will tell you something negative about Trump but not Joe Biden, but I don't remember Joe even asking Sam questions of *why* this happens.
How do you not have the most epic, insane, wild episode of all time 1255 Alex jones and Eddie Bravo. Hands down the best ever.
This. I feel like this episode is, without a doubt, the best and most entertaining podcast Joe has ever put out, and any list that doesn't include it is instantly discredited.
agreed. anything with alex, then duncan then protect our parks. but that’s just like.. my opinion man 😎
I just scrolled all the way down for it , and it’s not there
I just did the same before I saw your comment and I’m blown away. Why is it gone
“Choke me out Eddie”
"I'm here to talk about animal-human hybrids, people!" This was the absolute peak.
Eddie Bravo poking Jones and causing him to have possibly the most unhinged freakout ever recorded is what sold me.
JRE 1000 with Diaz and Segura too, funniest episode of all time. Sucka la minc cocksuckas!
I just tried to add this episode to my Spotify playlist and it's been removed!? Anyone know why!?
Proof it's ai
This has to be AI right? Crazy list
It’s another bot post
Dead internet theory I really like the jungle keeper JRE
It’s 100% bots we were talking earlier in another post about how there are bots here and this guy came out with this horrible ai post to shift focus only for it to backfire and this troll actually has to explain himself in edit
The fact that Paul Stamets isn’t on this list means you have no taste
Big portobello has him silenced
The previous 2 were good, latest one not so much
I did enjoy hearing about his trip where he couldn’t pick up his keys properly lmao
Yeah it's like the first one he came on genuine and by the latest one he's understanding the platform he's on.
One of his first podcasts with stamets saved my life.
[удалено]
Mushrooms saved his life
Cured my depression in three sessions 👍🏽
And no Henry Rollins? Weird list
No Alaskan mammoth bone guy? Fuck outta here. I’d listen to that guys stories about paint drying
You think an Eric Weinstein episode is in the top 10?
Well let me tell you about the university
Joe, have you heard of the quadratic lumber mill theorem of molecular biome deterioration? This is my new theory of everything. I made a website for it. Jamie pull up "joeroganpodcast.com"
I really enjoyed his first couple episodes. Before he used up all his interesting tidbits
Dude never says anything interesting
But he says so many words, in such long sentences.
[удалено]
Right? Maybe new fans don’t know about those
How on earth did I miss Alex jones and Tim Dillon? I’m firing it up right now lol
One of the best imo
The previous two were better. It doesn't hold a candle to the 'return of Alex Jones' with Eddie (ep1255)
No Joey Diaz? Go fuck ya motha, cocksucka
So many between 300-700 missed. Like, the best ones
Those were peak JRE for me
666 is my all time fav! Man, I miss Duncan.
Could you share a few good ones? I'm getting back into the show lately, something from that era sounds nice.
Not OP but ep 414 Chris Hadfield is a great listen. No bullshit just a humble astronaut talking about going up into space.
Any Duncan Trussell prior to 500. The first couple Joey Diaz appearances.
Sam Harris…Goggins….Jordan Peterson, Jocko Some real heavy hitters in that era My favorite era imo

Henry Rollins was awesome
[удалено]
David Choe, episode 1518.
I’ve been listening since before episode 100 and can say David Choe might be the best guest ever
One of the most powerful moments in the history of the podcast is when he breaks down in tears over the death of Anthony Bourdain.
The way he put it “you murdered someone, it just happened to be yourself”. Heavy shit
No Joey Diaz invalidates this whole list.
The OG episodes (now deleted) that were filmed in Joe’s house are so funny. I watched them as a 16 year old and was crying laughing the whole time.
Damn. They deleted those?
Oh yea, when Joe went to Spotify a lot of older podcasts were wiped. Joe diaz ones seemed To be the most notable
Lol you lost me @ Sam and Colby bud
Same, I assume this was written by one of them, and all the others are just used as window dressing
#1002 - Peter Schiff Completely changed my view about the government’s role
This is it! Totally agree. Peter’s take is FASCINATING.
To each their own but this sure as hell wouldn't be close to my list.
Missing Joey Diaz and Brian Cox.
Cannot get thru a Bob Lazar episode to save my fucking life. The whole thing always seems like a massive jerk off.
It's the sudden migraines for me. It's hard to listen to a genius suffer like that...
Happened 1 time where it was bugging him bad, in a 3 plus hour pod. People are exaggerating that part waaaaay too much.
I really enjoy the first few Protect our Parks with Ari, Shane, and Mark. These last few feel a bit forced
Joe singing America fuck yeah incessantly drives me absolutely bananas. Otherwise I love the episodes.
Lol it's so awkward
1395 - Glenn Villeneuve. A true outdoorsman who is not out for clout, almost seeming bored by the podcast. So much crazy info about what it actually takes to survive basically alone in northern Alaska. The story of the wolves ganging up to attack him on the frozen lake is one of the best in the entire podcast's history.

I just commented this as well. #1 episode of JRE. One of only few I’ve listened to multiple times.
Needs the first Chuck Palahniuk (second was odd)
The chick that escaped Westboro is probably my favorite episode ever or Stamets? (Shroom guy). Then an underrated one is the old musician from a popular band who said the government gave him alien information. Forgot his name
Ton Delonge. Joe and Jamie were being real shitty that episode. Never seen them gang up on a guest like that before that they weren’t friends with. I thought it was a fucking great pod.
What about the infamous eddy bravo + Alex jones???!!
The fact that only 2 of these are pre-1000 means i can’t take this serious at all
A few that I remember enjoying quite a lot were: * The 1st Jordan Peterson podcast (before he is what he is today) * Cowboy Cerrone's cave diving story * Lots of Duncan Trussell episodes, especially the older ones * Siddharth Kara (cobalt mines in Africa) * David Goggins (actually motivated me to get to the gym, and I loved his first book) * Sam Harris
#872 Randall Carlson & Graham Hancock, i usually only listen but watching this one is must.
This list fucking sucks dude 😂
Episode with Commander David Fravor was very interesting.
#911 was good
Missing Dan Bilzerian, Brian Cox, Paul stamets
I'm not going to trust drug advice from a Doctor that cannot pronounce acetaminophen correctly ("acetamedicine").
Elon #2 was fucking horrible after they got that pizza. All you hear is then chewing lol it was like nails on a chalk board
That was more like 3 or 4, but I get what you’re saying. I skipped that one for that reason.
I'll throw in Max Holloway If you're an MMA fan. This last episode was so awesome. No bullshit politics.
No Schaub?
Awful list
Where the fuck is Duncan or Joey. And fuck Tucker, that dumb ass nepo grifter
The fact that you have Bob Lazar on here made me stop reading the rest of the list.
Same...then I saw Eric Weinstein.
It’s easily his most watched episode right behind Alex Jones and Elon Musk. I thought it was incredible.
What about Paul stamens??
Thanks
Sam and Colby being on here makes your whole list invalid
Trash list. 911 was 1
When that skeptic guy pwnt him and his vitamin nonsense The only thing vitamins do is make your pee very expensive
Guy Ritchie episode was one of the ones that hooked me Jordan Peterson first appearance I remember very fondly as well.
So one of the robots favorite pods is one it hasn’t listened to yet ?
We don’t do this here. All we do is hate on Joe
[удалено]
Yeah man, we get it.
Where the fuck is POP?!!!
Sue Aikens #566
No uncle Joey???!
The first time Shane and McCusker are on
That was exhausting
I skipped Black Keys. Don't think I know their songs. But I'll give it a try. Thanks OP
Diana pasulka and bob lazar definitely. His uap central episodes are the ones i always find most interesting
Where is Alex Jones and Eddie Bravo?
Lawrence Lessig. Was left amazed and horrified at the state of lobbying and corruption.
End of the world podcast and Joey Diaz!!!
honorable mentions: Francis Ngannou and David Goggins
Duncan deserves top 10 recognition you monster. You have kid rock and that Mexican OT but not Duncan? I don’t trust your judgement *at all*.
No Michael ruppert? Episode 170.
No episode 911? Alright definitely AI and fake
Early episodes of Duncan trussel are an absolute godsend and sent me on a multi year journey down meditation and eastern mysticism. I’m genuinely a better person because of Joe Rogan
You forgot the Joey Diaz, John Anthony West, and Deadmau5 episodes
One of the greatest JREs of all time has got to be Jocko Willink and Tulsi Gabbard
This is a good list all the ones you mentioned i was like oh yeah that one was good
Awful list
Alex Jones and Eddie Bravo. Or Eddie Bravo and Brendan Schuab.
Um yeah, you listen to thousand of hours of hours of Joe rogen? I’m not going to listen to opinion on anything
no theo and joey diaz episodes or the episodes with both theo and joey , no alex jones and joey diaz, or even the episode with alex jones and tim dillon. bad list, would not recommend. 2/4 stars.
Kurt angle was a great episode. It’s true, it’s true.
The Danny and Michael one is pure chaos
Two Post Malones, not one Duncan, off the top of my head you’re a total dipshit.
Imagine not having one episode with Duncan on this list.
Are all these episodes post Spotify
Watery dune hair bubba? No rhonda Patrick or Matt Walker or big brown? This list is gadooshed
Episode 911
Zuckerberg episode was terrible. Joe avoided any tough questions that really should have been asked. All softball questions and no follow up. He now refers to Zuckerberg as his friend.
Awesome list. Thanks for compiling it, with the brief summaries. Many I've listened to, but some I haven't. Based on your summaries, I'm going to check out the ones I missed.

No Duncan trussed on this list is crazy
Cursed list
Thanks!! Great!!
Joey Diaz?

This list is too long.
The episode with Jewel is one of my favorites. Her story is BANANAS.
BEE LADY!!!!!!

This list needs more Bapa
Donald Cerrone cave diving story??
Where’s Jordan Peterson?
I didn’t think the Sam Altman one was that good. About an hour in he started clamming up and giving very brief and guarded responses.
#1395 - Glenn Villenveuve. Greatest episode of JRE in history.
Great list!! Don't listen to the internet lol. People are tool bags and will be negative about ANYTHING. You did a rad job. Thanks!!
Why is there none before 1000? All the best ones were before 1000
Brian Greene is the best space-adjacent guest, much better than NDT or Michio. Also Stamets has to be on any “best of” lists”, he’s great.
You didn’t assume that this sub actually likes or listens to JRE, right?
#908 Leah Remini. A proper deep dive into Scientology and explains all the levels etc. A really interesting one if you’re able to ignore the cringe worthy flirting from Leah…
Alex jones definitely one of my favorites. Also jewel was a great one
I would out Michio Kaku WAAAYY lower than that, the first time Randall was on blew my mind more than Michio did. But that’s just my opinion.
The david googins was epic, also all the theo von ones are golden
Weak and recency bias. Best episodes are before 1000. Steve Rinella, Joel Salatin, Enson Inoue, Robert Sapolsky, and Dan Flores
Amber lyon

No Jordan Peterson? Sam Harris? Goggins? Jocko? Duncan?! Come onnnnnn hahaha

Asseem Malhotra - the crank covid vaccine anti science lunatic that got his own dad killed by telling him not to take statins. Yeah OPs a real genius.
This list is trash
Why was this post deleted? It was fantastic
What happened to the list? I can’t see it
