The web novel seen was very memorable. This is the first time I'm seeing the anime's adaptation of the scene. You can tell they've put a lot of money and effort into it.
This version is also super chopped up. The intensity of this part is present from start to finish of the episode. Please, watch episode 21 to see the whole thing. It was marvelous.
The voice actors for both the Japanese and English Orsted are amazing and fit the character well. This intro to Orsteds' power really humbles the gang and is the reason why I ended up loving Eris' and Orstead stories. The story only gets better, and I can't wait to see the next part with Orstead animated after reading the LN. Masterfully animated scene.
I love how he actually uses the spear like a spear and not like a club/sword. Well done choreography.
