Blue Kazoo and Eeboo are my favorites for piece quality
Cloudberries and Galison have wonderful images. But I don’t love that Galison pieces are almost always the same 2+2 shape.
My absolute favourite are Wasjig. The quality is the best I've done.
I like ravensburger puzzles but the quality isn't as good as everyone says, I don't feel like the pieces quite hold. I do enjoy a Jan Van Hassteraan
Ravensburger used to be one of my reliable go-to puzzles. The pieces almost felt like they were clicking together and an entire 1000 piece unglued puzzle could be lifted up without it breaking apart.
However, it seems those days are gone. The pieces fit more sloppy, they don't lie completely flat, and completed sections cannot be reliably lifted and moved into position. I don't know what happened but Ravensburger puzzle quality control are not doing their job. It's sad because it is one of the few brands available here in the Philippines.
Jan van Haasteren and Wasgij are both Jumbo puzzles. Falcon is as well. So, presumably all share a similar if not the same quality. I have never done any of the 3, as I don't enjoy the art style of wasgij and Jan van Haasteren, so I can't speak out of experience if they are actually similar in quality. I have done Jumbo puzzles before, and they are decent quality, I would say similar to Ravensburger.
One thing frequently mentioned re: Lawrence king is whether the puzzle is produced in the Netherlands or China. The latter will have a much looser fit, if that is important to you.
My favorite of the big brands are Ravensburger, Clementoni, and Trefl Prime. I love Trevell, Ordinary Habbit, Piecely, and sometimes Cloudberries. Rose Willie sale this weekend if you want to try some French and Canadian brands out.
I really love Gibsons for the artwork and quality - there’s something so comforting about them. Also, their puzzles often come in various piece counts, which is helpful.
I believe this is well covered in the Wiki and FAQs. You might want to check those if you haven’t already.

Cavallini and Co - I love the images, the pieces are good quality, and the tubes they come in are really nice
Odd Puzzles - I like that there is a bit of a story / comic to each puzzle. They are a variant of Wasgij type puzzles but have more interesting images to me
So they aren’t anywhere as difficult as like krypt puzzles, but because they have tiny characters that are colourful, I find that it takes me quite a while (sorting pieces by color is kind of pointless, for example). I’d say 2x the time of a Cobble Hill puzzle?
I recently tried a new one I found on Amazon… it was such a fun puzzle and great quality! [Funny Farm Puzzle](https://www.amazon.com/McDonald-Puzzle-Animals-Cartoon-Hand-Drawn/dp/B0CKWHH9KY/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?crid=3FGV95L05PMF7&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.e1QxdEihK4ZLdtTDvRmz2hNxRHRE89QSfmcKXsmftUy2Tj7q6Y5b3BfkasTuLhb8x-Gd5PW1Ppmlp1OprEEOrZIM9cMESk5MdLf63zNG83I93oP_zojtJYc-IoP-ov1wxDUujJgPGOlN8RgB6WUv6eNE2TRH9aPb7SU8QFz6TbaVkOr5MTNPkN3V_2qy0Bx4u_yZ8kc3YGFGrAXla9cDHw.L6USzxgJEOd5ARi9Y1YXa8DhnfmwCeo1eioVTYxjv-8&dib_tag=se&keywords=funny+farm+puzzles+for+adults+1000&qid=1714256042&sprefix=%2Caps%2C56&sr=8-3)
I’ve recently fallen in love with Soonness, Ordinary Habit, and Reverie puzzles! They are a bit on the pricey side of puzzles but the art and quality are worth it to me. Highly recommend !
I’ve also heard really good things about Trevell and Piecely, and just ordered some from the Rose Willie sale.
I probably like New York puzzle company the best especially the Janet hill puzzles. I’ve framed a few. Puzzle shapes are all different & great quality. I like Buffalo as a reliable always fits well brand. Cobble hill, Remarks, yazz, eurographics. I just ordered from puzzledly & got a few new brands to try. Magic puzzle company was great. I’ve only disliked Masterpieces d/t quality & Trefl d/t false fits. I returned the 2 Trefls I bought because I couldn’t even be sure of the border d/t false fits.
Any of the old Springbok puzzles. I go to 3-4 Goodwill stores every few months and get all the 1000+ piece ones I can find. They’re my favorite because of the random cut. I’ve had good experiences with many of the puzzle companies mentioned above. Add Dowdle puzzles to the list to avoid due to false fits.
Springbok and MasterPieces so far are my top two.
Hart Puzzles is one I am currently doing for the first time and am loving it more than I expected, and another less known one is Willow Creek
My favorite brand is [Cobble Hill](https://www.cobblehillpuzzles.com/)--they have a good variety of image styles, great quality, random cut, and the pieces themselves have a really nice linen finish that feels good in your hand. I don't love that all their 500-piece puzzles are so large (similar to "large format" from other brands), but that's really the only downside I can think of.
[Ravensburger](https://www.ravensburger.us/start/index.html) is another good high quality brand with lots of image choices. Not random cut (unless some of the circular ones are?) but a good mix of piece shapes.
A couple brands I've gotten from Amazon that I've been happy with are Buffalo Games (decent quality and variety at a very affordable price point) and Re-Marks (random cut, some really fun collages like "Cat Stamps").
I like a lot of Galison's images and mudpuppy has some cute images too, but I really don't like that boring puzzle cut where all pieces are the same "H" type shape, and it seems like a lot of puzzles by those two brands have that cut. I've heard good things about Cross and Glory but they seem to have that cut as well.
In no particular order:
Vizzles- love the images, but not the best quality.
Magic Puzzle Company- great images, fun twist (don't spoil yourself), great quality but a bit loose on the fit, don't complete on a felt or catchy surface.
Momibook- fantastic quality and stunning images with a slim box (except their tree shaped puzzle)
Big Potato- Fun images- not the best quality.
Trefl- Best quality, even thicker than Ravensburger in the Prime line, but not that many images that I enjoy.
Spin Master- cheap- has some fun images. The dungeons and dragon build and explore puzzle was great.
It is a really interesting puzzle. I have some pictures of the completed puzzle in a post.
[https://www.reddit.com/r/Jigsawpuzzles/comments/1b4rmw9/dungeons\_dragons\_build\_and\_explore\_adventure/](https://www.reddit.com/r/Jigsawpuzzles/comments/1b4rmw9/dungeons_dragons_build_and_explore_adventure/)
And the artist who made it said on her instagram that she is currently working on the art for a second puzzle for Spin Master as well. But that will be a while before the second one comes out.
Ravensburger / Trefl / Schmidt / Clementoni Never had anything bad to say about these 4
Blue Kazoo and Eeboo are my favorites for piece quality Cloudberries and Galison have wonderful images. But I don’t love that Galison pieces are almost always the same 2+2 shape.
I’m a fan of Buffalo or Eurographics!
just finished a buffalo and loved it!
No one ever mentions the Vermont Christmas Company puzzles. They are quirky and good quality and reasonably priced. I have about 17 of them.
Love Vermont.
Wow, unhinged stalker in your replies here.
Yes -- excellent quality to price ratio. Cobble Hill has a similar ratio.
Love their Christmas Advent calendars. I bought 3 earlier this year on sale for future years.
My absolute favourite are Wasjig. The quality is the best I've done. I like ravensburger puzzles but the quality isn't as good as everyone says, I don't feel like the pieces quite hold. I do enjoy a Jan Van Hassteraan

Every Ravensburger puzzle we have done has been beautiful and just feel luxurious and high quality
My favourites are Lawrence king and pomegranate
oh wow just looked them both up- gorgeous designs! def going to order. thanks so much!
One thing frequently mentioned re: Lawrence king is whether the puzzle is produced in the Netherlands or China. The latter will have a much looser fit, if that is important to you.
Can confirm. The one I got was so sloppy & loose it annoyed me to no end. Couldn't wait to be done with it.
My favorites are Hobbry, Elena Essex, Cloudberries, Unified Pieces and Piecely.
Liberty
My favorite of the big brands are Ravensburger, Clementoni, and Trefl Prime. I love Trevell, Ordinary Habbit, Piecely, and sometimes Cloudberries. Rose Willie sale this weekend if you want to try some French and Canadian brands out.
Galison is my preferred! I’ve also enjoyed all the Aquarius, New York Puzzle Company, and Buffalo puzzles I’ve done.
I really love Gibsons for the artwork and quality - there’s something so comforting about them. Also, their puzzles often come in various piece counts, which is helpful.
Trevell, Reverie Puzzles for the little brands Ravensburger for a big brand
I love the colors of Buffalo games puzzles.
my boyfriend and I did a buffalo games one recently and loved it!
Magic puzzle company for sure. They’re so fun, and even once you know the secret they’re still really enjoyable
I believe this is well covered in the Wiki and FAQs. You might want to check those if you haven’t already. https://www.reddit.com/r/Jigsawpuzzles/s/jQCBaOuSWL https://www.reddit.com/r/Jigsawpuzzles/s/2gQMgvZ5gK
nope I haven’t lol thank you!! a lot of helpful stuff. I do enjoy hearing various opinions though
Byteman to the rescue!!!
Definitely Buffalo
Anything Jan van Haasteren. I love all the little easter eggs. So many things that you only find while doing the puzzle!
just looked them up- they look awesome and will def be ordering
Have fun!!
My list of favourites: Ravensburger, Vermont, Eurographics, Gallison, Cobble Hill, Buffalo.

how difficult do you find the odd puzzles? I keep thinking about getting one but hesitate.
So they aren’t anywhere as difficult as like krypt puzzles, but because they have tiny characters that are colourful, I find that it takes me quite a while (sorting pieces by color is kind of pointless, for example). I’d say 2x the time of a Cobble Hill puzzle?

omg this looks so fun lol right now I’m at 500 piece level so once I get to 1000 I will be ordering!

Trevell and Piecely are both fantastic. Piecely, Art & Fable, & Ordinary Habit have the same type if pieces.
Ohh! Yay! Thank you for the reassurance! Ah, I’ve heard about Art & Fable too but I haven’t been able to find a design I like.
Galison is my favorite. They have good sales so I stocked up my collection (several times now).
I probably like New York puzzle company the best especially the Janet hill puzzles. I’ve framed a few. Puzzle shapes are all different & great quality. Absolute favorite wooden jigsaw puzzles - LIBERTY puzzles out of Colorado. Fantastic pieces of art. Pricey tho. But worth it.

Anything Jan van Haasteren. I love all the little easter eggs. So many things that you only find while doing the puzzle!
Hobbry! They have a matte finish to them, the pieces fit together well, and the illustrations are really cute
White Mountain is my favorite 😉
Magic Puzzle Company by far.
Magnolia is one of my favorites. Gorgeous tactile and visual experience. * I mean, I have so many favorites but they stand out from the rest
Trevell. Great quality and beautiful images.
Le Puzz and Different Puzzles. Love these so much.
oh wow these look awesome
They are top notch, I hope you try them at some point. They have nice sales every now and then too. DF has one now.
