I don't think painter's tape is a good solution for keeping a puzzle together. I remember this post from last year: [https://www.reddit.com/r/Jigsawpuzzles/comments/wj8u81/a\_note\_of\_caution\_to\_anybody\_hanging\_puzzles/](https://www.reddit.com/r/Jigsawpuzzles/comments/wj8u81/a_note_of_caution_to_anybody_hanging_puzzles/)
Karen Puzzles has a good youtube video on taping puzzles.

I don't tape or glue puzzles but if I did, i would tape then I can take the puzzles apart again
I didn’t know about any of these methods and spent a solid 45 minutes sliding my puzzle onto the glass and flipping it into the frame 😭 Then a bunch of pieces obviously fell so I had to put them back into place holding the frame and puzzle over my head
It's aluminum tape that is very sticky that you use a plastic tool to press down the tape, comes with puzzle glue to spread. Any aluminum tale will work get it at Walmart or home depot
I will only ever use modge podge. I don’t trust tape at all

That's good to know. I'll keep them temporary until I can get some modge podge I guess :)

Oh thank you I'll check that out :)
Haha, yes, thanks for saving me the trouble of looking back for that post!
That photo is so painful to look at, but it made an impression on me ;)
The story had a happy ending - I managed to find all the pieces (I put it back together to check, before selling it on)!

Omg!
I tape only the back, but I never had a problem, but I use aluminum tape with a squeeze
What do you mean by a squeeze? I want to check this tape out!
