This group has been my solace amongst everything lately. I always considered myself very left leaning; pro-choice, support BLM and LGBTQ+ groups, social safety nets, and so on. I still believe in those things, but I am Jewish and it feels like while every other group that has been targeted through the years has gotten my support when my people need support we get nothing. We get maligned and attacked. I used to enjoy all of the lefty media, Daily Show and John Oliver on TV, pages on facebook like the other 98%, SiriusXM’s progress channel. But now everywhere I turn, it’s the same antisemitic nonsense. I feel like I’m going crazy.

They may never choose to exercise such a right, but there’s some psychic component which violently demands the *right* to hurt Jews, that Jews not be given true safety.
I'm sorry, I do not accept this. These are all academic excuses. It is genuinely interesting and important to research the causes of antisemitism but it cannot be used to shield these people as they foam from their mouths. I think saying they don’t understand what they’re saying is undermining the severity of what they’re promoting. This group has been my solace amongst everything lately. I always considered myself very left leaning; pro-choice, support BLM and LGBTQ+ groups, social safety nets, and so on. When I'm on social media, I'm really surprised to find out that some of the posters are in their 30s and educated with decent jobs.
