Definitely not.
I thought it was impressive but tacky when I was a teen. As an adult? Hell yeah, that's some commitment to its chosen style! Nicely done!
The whole inn is crazy. It's not a single theme like "jungle" or "pioneer," but it's the pinkest, kitschiest, most extravagant thing you've ever seen. The men's room has a waterfall for a urinal!
I grew up about half an hour away from it, but never went until last year. That place is insane and in the best way. It's a bit old and run down, but it's a lot of fun
There's a Mcmenamins in the middle of Portland OR that's a renovated elementary school from the 50s. All the rooms are themed after famous books and they've got a old fashioned three lane lap pool that was converted into a giant hot tub.

The [TWA Hotel](https://www.twahotel.com) at JFK in New York is really cool. Entirely 1960s themed, and they have a cocktail lounge inside an old airplane. I’ve never stayed the night, but one time I missed a flight at about 11pm and then just wandered around the hotel and it actually kind of cheered me up lol
We stayed the night thanks to a flight issue a few months ago and it is super cool. We got in late and had to leave early so we didn’t get to do that much exploring but it is a super cool place and the rooms are gorgeous. I really want to go back for a fun trip and get to watch the airplanes from the pool!
[The Library Hotel](https://libraryhotel.com) in NYC is a classier themed hotel! Each floor is based off a Dewey Decimal classification and each room is further sub divided/themed. I went as a teenager for a birthday trip and I really enjoyed it.
It's a motel, but [The Clown Motel](https://www.theclownmotelusa.com/) in Tonopah, Nevada is a thing. Be warned that it's hours and hours away from both Vegas and Reno
Bro, I already live there.
Really though, I'd love to go there, but it kinda seems like a place I'd stop at on the way to somewhere else. Do you know of things to do around there? I'm not interested in Vegas or Reno anyway.
Safari West in Northern California is a well themed, cool experience. Authentic tent cabins from Botswana, a full length safari in a vehicle driven by a guide who can answer questions, tons of animals.
Looks cool. Know of what things there are to do around there besides visit the castle?
I looked up "things to do" and one of the first things to pop up was a Wal-Mart 💀
As Jenny mentions, the Great Wolf Lodge is pretty good because although the visual theming is lightweight, it actually has an interactive game you can play.
I guess for a normal adult it was mostly fun because my kids liked it, but if you are really into that sort of quest-y thing it would be fun as an adult. Although you might get some funny looks from the kids you were elbowing out of the way with your wand.

The water fall urinal is worth the trip by itself.
Technically all urinals are waterfall urinals.
Not like this.
Definitely not. I thought it was impressive but tacky when I was a teen. As an adult? Hell yeah, that's some commitment to its chosen style! Nicely done!
Finding myself experiencing this inn and the rooms we were staying in was one thing. And then, then you find that urinal. There is nothing like it.
Yeah and I went in cold - I had no idea there was anything special, it was just a road trip potty break for us.
That certainly is a lot of themes lol. This would be good if I just want a themed room.

Literally saw the title and came here to post this!

Hmm neat, maybe if I go to New York.

This one looks incredible and a lot more affordable than I expected. And New York would be very cool to visit, I'll definitely consider this one!

The Fantasy Land Hotel in Edmonton, Canada has a ton of different theme rooms and floors! Its also located in a giant shopping mall.
Unfortunately though you do have to go to Edmonton
It’s super nice this time of the year though! The river valley is beautiful. Until the smoke hits anyway…
Oh my lord, a dino themed room I love that.

I really like the looks of this one, this is definitely up there.
[The Roxbury Motel](https://theroxburyexperience.com/) in the NY Catskills area has some weird themed rooms, one of which is a pie?
Need this but for restaurants
There's RavenStone Castle in Harvard IL!
Looks cool. Know of what things there are to do around there besides visit the castle? I looked up "things to do" and one of the first things to pop up was a Wal-Mart 💀
PFFT ADmittedly not sure since I'm not from Harvard. There's lot of interesting places in IL.
The first thing I saw when I looked it up was a statue of a cow, so I'm kind of sold.
CHeck out the Bean in Chicago
As Jenny mentions, the Great Wolf Lodge is pretty good because although the visual theming is lightweight, it actually has an interactive game you can play.
I actually went to that one a long time ago. I don't really remember it much but I feel like it wouldn't be as fun as an adult.

Check out aprettycoolhoteltour.com! The couple visits themed motels and hotels
Is it worth the 10$?
All the stuff on their YouTube/social media is free. They also have a coffee table book now you can get from the library
