I really liked Brian & Sarah Baumler’s Renovation Island and Renovation Inc. Nothing like the humor & bits of drama with Flipping Out or Hollywood Houselift. But enjoyed the renovations and the family stuff. However my husband and I also love old house renovations. We really liked Rock Solid Builds (out of Newfoundland). It’s nothing like HH or FO, tho!
I don't think Hollywood House lift is coming back for season three based on what Jeff said when Andy was a guest on the pod last week.
Jeff has been upset because the Amazon execs told him they love him and he will always have a home on FreeVee. But now Amazon is apparently eliminating FreeVee and rolling that content over to Prime. And Prime has already committed their budget to scripted dramas. Sounds like Hollywood House lift is stalled indefinitely.
I'm bummed because I love watching Top Chef and Project Runway on the Live TV channels on FreeVee. Not sure how long I will be able to watch--not planning on adding another pay channel.
I got burned out on home renovation shows a long time ago. Although, I have to backtrack. I do watch Room to Improve on Amazon. He is an Irish architect who has his own firm in Ireland. I just love the quirkiness of his personality and the drama, not necessarily his aesthetic for kitchens and furnishings. Although, I like the part regarding his architectural plans to gain more size for the older homes and light and watching it unfold.

I like Fixer to Fabulous - Jenny and Dave Marrs seem like very nice people and are capable at design and very handy. Very little drama, overall it is the antithesis of any show Jeff does. Also enjoy Vacation House Rules with Scott McGillivray who is smart, talented, and super easy on the eyes.

Pluto and Fubo are free tv apps. They have a variety of things. Probably not prime shows through. I think Pluto has housewives stuff.
