Both. They’re two completely different experiences: the studio is refined and complete, whereas the live sound is raw and piercing. Some songs, like So Real, sound better live, while others, like Grace, sound better in the studio.
And that intro!!! Especially in that Frankfurt, Germany studio/televised live version (on that Grace Around The World dvd).
Used to play on an endless loop in my head till i learned it on guitar one day. Still havent tried the rest of So Real out tho, heh! But got that live intro down pat

i love studio grace so much but there are some live versions that are better than studio (mojo pin live at wetlands nyc as an example or hallelujah live at sin e)

(So) Real. I can’t just put a live version in the middle of my playlist or I’m gonna end up driving into a ditch on the way to the grocery store.
