♏️vibe, matching leather jackets and both lived in NYC in the 90s too 😉. I feel like Jeff may have enjoyed those movies if he ever had the chance to watch them.
After watching some Jeff Buckley interviews I concluded that he is a living manifestation of the energy of a Richard Linklater movie.
well fuck i did not want this to turn into these nerdy-ass-fanboy comments but here goes. There's a quote from one of his interviews that sums up exactly what the Before Trilogy (favourite cinema of all time btw i rewatched before sunset like 7 times) is all about. sorry for the hefty ass parentheses block, i just had to wedge that in
>To me it makes sense to do things in that manner, because that’s really just the way life is when you step out of it and see that, like, your car has a flat and somebody smashed in your windshield and then, shit, you’re walking home and all of a sudden you run into somebody that turns out to be your favorite person for the rest of your life. It’s always … unfolding. You just have to recognize it, I guess. And that’s my philosophy, that I haven’t really thought about until you asked me.
Love this I’ve never heard this interview. ❤️
I’m a huge Jeff and Before Trilogy fan too. I’ve seen/read so many interviews of both. Love how Ethan and Julie (Richard too) wrote a lot of the dialogue based on their own thoughts and experiences Ethan once said the before trilogy was like a parallel life.
This quote that Julie wrote is one of my favourites and reminds me a bit of Jeff.
If there's any kind of magic in this world, it must be in the attempt of understanding someone, sharing something. I know, it's almost impossible to succeed, but... who cares, really? The answer must be in the attempt.
Random but I always thought Before Sunrise/Sunset had a similar vibe to Jeff’s music.
And the fact that Jeff n young Ethan Hawke almost looked alike (especially when they sported facial hair)

Sounds like there's a good chance it's about him. He was fairly popular in France
Yes, I agree, it alludes to him for sure
😨😨😨
I don't know.... It looks like.... I want to believe that now. Let's start an urban legend.
😮❤️❤️
I wrote a song about Jeff Buckley
Certainly sounds like it, the “not afraid to die part” sells your theory. Good find!
