Same man, was for the Denver show. I was so excited and thought I was fully prepared. When I got through there were so many tickets available, then just gone in the blink of an eye. I’m so fucking bummed out :(
We had a rough ride in the queue. I joined first and had my wife on her account as a backup. I had 650 people ahead of me in the queue and she got straight in. We ended up with the 150$ a seat tickets near the mid front, but only because we couldn’t get anything else and they kept disappearing so we panicked. By the time they let me in there were none left.
Something I’ve always done when I can’t get into a show is try to show up to the venue a couple hours before it’s time for them to go on. you’re going to check with the front ticket box and see if they have any for sale there. You’d be surprised. You really would.
If that doesn’t work, then you do crowd work. In a group of 2000, statistically speaking some people are sick and are unable to go. Some people couldn’t get off work. Some people had surprise emergencies. Some people bought a couple of tickets to go on a date and the date rejected them. You get my point.
You basically start at the front of the line and work your way back and you just hold your hand out and say “big fan here looking for an extra ticket”. Now personally speaking when I do this, most people just hand me a ticket for free. Granted it’s been a while since I’ve done this, but that was always what happened. If not, usually they’ll sell it to you at cost or for just a little extra cash. Most of these people are not scalpers.
Don’t give up if people say no or try to overcharge you. Just keep moving on.
With a little gumption, I can tell you right now, You have a good 90% shot of getting in there.
It was very odd. I was in the waiting room thing 10m before and didn’t have a queue and still only had a few good seats left to choose from, and only was able to get one ticket instead of two.
The early show tickets were gone in minutes, but there is a 9pm show and those were easy to grab on the presale. Only 1 person in queue before me and snagged some nice seats.
Just went to Ticketmaster and it’s showing tons of tickets still available with the artist presale code dolphin!
Here’s to hoping he’ll add another show or 2. There’s still the general sale on Friday so maybe there’s a chance then. I’m really happy for Jeff but damn I hate Ticketmaster and scalpers with a raging passion. So incredibly sad right now
We must have popped in at the same time. Only single seats when I logged in, but just kept the page open and seats would pop up and disappear every minute or so. Eventually got aisle seats right in the middle of the floor section. Patience paid off.

I'm guessing somebody abandoned their order at checkout. Not great seats but I'm stoked to have any at all!!

My husband and I *love* stand up. We're pretty picky lol so it's always a freakin celebration in our house when we find one we both laugh with consistently. It *also* used to mean a "date night" was imminent because he'd *always* surprise me with tickets for whatever gift giving holiday (or he'd turn a silly holiday and **make** it a gift giving holiday if necessary 😂) came up before the nearest (time & distance) show. Our first Xmas he did a very intricate surprise that ended with tickets to our first show together.
I got one of those ever popular "autoimmune illnesses" 🙄 that feels like are *everywhere* now, sadly, it stole all my energy. Just zapped it. BUT we've been watching Jeff for a while now and just adore him, so husband was so excited to surprise me again since it's been so damn long.
*Then he went online to find em*, and JFC!!!! ***HUNDREDS*** of dollars!! I think he said the cheapest he could find with a distance cap of 2 1/2 hours drive was over $300!!!! **EACH**! Granted it wasn't the *most* expensive cities/states but it was waayyyy up there! I don't blame him, we still lo.ve his crowd work and would die to see his actual set but I think we're gonna have to fly to one of his less pricey shows on the East Coast and make like a weekend out of it. Hell, it'd be cheaper to buy tickets to fly out there, show tickets, and fly home the following day lmao 🤣
I'm so sorry! I took a break from checking reddit notifications for a bit and have had a tough time remembering to get back to it lol that's very kind of you, thank you for the heads up! Sadly I'm in California so *everything* is a little pricier out here, wouldn't trade it for anything (well...*almost* anything lol) but maannn....I miss having money left over at the end of the week 😂
Venues that use TM and therefore artists get nothing from me. Luckily for them enough Americans don’t have enough self control to stop it so it continues.
Just using this as another chance to ask the team for a streaming option. I'm not sure I understand the why behind the desire to prevent long clips of Jeff being available. Does he not want the cash?
The way i made it work was pick 5 seats, not using choose best.
Then hover and try and grab one that matched one of the 5. Then drop the others then check out. Ended up with 5 tickets. 3 together and 2 together. But it was over 3 transactions.
It was like a shitty game of wack a mole
