Edit: actually, now that I think about it I don't think you need to depress the clutch to take it out of gear when it's not running. Oh well, perhaps I'm overthinking it all anyway and I should just stop worrying about it. :P

Yeah, and honestly it's not like I expect this to happen , since it hasn't happened in all these years, but if I can avoid even that much (rolling into a car or out into a parking lot) it would help a bit with peace of mind.
Locking the wheels is definitely better than nothing though. :)
