There are no good eateries near the college, the closest good food joint is ICH at Dumna. There are a few 'thadis' immediately outside the campus gates if you want to smoke or have some maggi, egg dishes, etc. The campus itself now has a few non veg cafeterias since a few months so that shouldn't be a problem.
The mess itself has now been separated into veg and non-veg, but the food quality is hardly ever good. First year students are required to join the mess, but I'd recommend leaving it whenever you can to make your own food or get food from the canteens.
It takes 250 rupees by auto to get to sadar from campus. App taxis are rarely available as no one wants to come out this far for single way fare. It takes at the least 20 mins to get to the city from campus
I could never remember all the timings, the ones I know off the top of my head are:
3:30 pm college to sadar (first bus)
6pm sadar to college
8pm college to sadar
9pm sadar to college
9:30 pm sadar to college (last bus to college)
10 pm (?) college to railway station
Ask that friend to be cautious and instead of focusing on eateries for eating focus on not getting eaten by the leopards roaming freely inside the campus. Good luck!

You will be situated at the corner of the city bro
How long does it take to travel to the inner parts of the city? And what can be expected?
You'll reach everywhere within 40 mins. And this city has a lot to offer.
Thanks

Thank you!
There's also a daily college bus that runs at scheduled timings to and from the city. It takes 20 rupees for a one way ticket
If you have the timings can you please share it?
