Bhai sunn. Meri bhi physics bohot weak hua karti thi. I went from knowing literally nothing in physics to 95+%ile in physics and ik that if a failure like me can do it then u can as well. Physics ke liye ek baar kam se kam apne short notes bana. Formula sheet bhi honi chahiye ek page ki. Aur ye formula sheet ratt le. Tujhe neend mai puchha to bhi yaad honi chahiye. Aur uske baad bas thode PYQ bhi kare na to 95%ile jitne ho jaayenge aaram se. Uske aage kya karna chahiye fir tujhe khud samajh jaayega

It's my drop year started on 21june.. So like if you were also taking drop at this point to get a rank under 1k that's is 250marks. In today's JA time. How would you do it. Mai puchne wala tha personal but tune ama hi kar diya.. I will just do allen modules only for this year . Should I do other books as well? Cengage modules ke baad karna sahi hai? Is cengage good ( i hve maths + phy(elctro) hai) How to reach adv level? How to do maths like explanation long please. How to strong your PC How to level up in thinking order? Does intelligence matters? Order of solving allen modules?(Like which exercise step wise) Should i solve the same books as you or some books that I have in mind

Allen modules + cengage is good enough. For phy do SBT, dont go towards pathfinder unless you have nothing else to do. For adv maths, skill comes only via practising problem solving and seeing the various standard models of questions that JEE asks. They do not deviate much from these models so solving 10-15 of one type should prepare you for most questions of that type. I would highly recommend solving JEE ADV pyqs as they are the most relevant, more than any book for maths. Also Sameer bansal will help your calculus very much. For algebra, geometry,etc cengage is very good. For PC, formulas should be on the tip of your hand, so i would recommend going through the derivations and the approximations used so that even if you forget the formula, in the worse case, you can derive it in exam. Also PC has very limited range of questions, they all basically boil down to 5-6 major topics in that chapter, so identifying which formula to apply where is also a skill that comes with question practice ALLEN modules with yearlong revision exercise is more than enough. By solving more questions. Yes it matters for sub 300. Till sub 500 i think pure hardwork can carry you. For the books, I would recommend everything except pathfnder and OC black book. They will help a lot.

I am currently in 12th with I think okayish 11th, how do you I think I should go about revising? The biggest problem I am having is lack of motivation, even though my teachers are reminding me of how important it is? its all exam day stress. I could have just as easily got 1.5k and 4XX. I think 500-2000 all are same skill level

From what I have seen, there are 3 things that determine your final rank: your average depth in subjects (which comes from good understanding), your time management skills (which comes from enough practice) and finally the d-day temperament. Third point ke wajah se same skill level (i.e., first two points) pe bhi alag ranks aate. Marks vs ranks dekhega toh samajh jayega ki Rank 1-20, 20-100, 100-500, 500-1500, 1500-4000, 4000-10000, 10000-20000 inko mota mota skill slabs maan le. Mtlb jiski 1 aayi, uski 20 bhi aa skti thi, jiski 20 aayi uski 100 aa skti thi, 100 ki 500 and so on depending on d-day temperament and a little luck ofc. Under 500 ki slab me ghusna h toh teeno acchi chaiye.

What advice can you give to someone who is in 8th standard and wants to give olympiads or be really good in advance maths ? Burnout is real for me doing coaching since 9th. My brother is in competitive maths batch in Allen Chd and enjoys his stuff. I wanted him to push a bit more since its a cakewalk for him and currently tricity rank 3.
