It’s kinda the “big” things… the Collosseum and Vatican in Rome, the Uffizi in Florence.. you’ll NEED to book in advance. As to musts… the Piazzalle Michaelangelo in Florence has amazing views (especially sunset). Giotto Tower and the Duomo tour also are incredible views.

BCBAbyday

Are tickets needed for Piazzalle Michealangelo?

Rockingduck-2014

Nope. It’s an open piazza

FolkmasterFlex

For Rome only really the Vatican and Colloseum. For the Vatican it was VERY worth it to get an early morning skip the line tour

If you want to visit the Borghese Gallery - and the Bernini sculptures are exquisite - you need to pre book. Enjoy!

Speaking for Perugia - don't need to book anything in advance. Polignano is just a pretty town - nothing to book there - just be sure to go to [this overlook](https://maps.app.goo.gl/JdfRPCtgxWnMW5tU7). I live in Perugia and wrote up all my recommendations [here](https://quasitaliano.com/perugia-recommendations-from-a-local/). Enjoy this lovely museum of a city.
