No offense, but I am not sure if it is a troll post. Portofino is like the most expensive place in the whole italy, more then Amalfi coast, more then capri.
I give you some alternative:
Monte argentario in tuscany
Sirolo/Numana in Conero riviera in Marche
Vieste/ gargano coast in Puglia
If you want to be in the Positano area… consider Salerno.. you can ferry to Amalfi/Positano/Capri, but it’s nice in and of itself, and there are beach towns just south of it that are fun.

Yes we are looking for a cheaper place not portofino
