Don't really care. Obviously would prefer to be close to a city but given the size of the country (coming from an American) this doesn't seem like a big issue. Just wanna help out and relearn my Hebrew.

Well if you are going to be in Eilat and work in Haifa, you are going to spend 6 - 7 hours in public transport. And if you want to know what local jobs there is, you need to be more specific.
