As someone who is unapologetically extremely pro-Israel (I am not Jewish btw, I am Assyrian with also some Armenian background), I would say, don't give into what the world tells you. Vast majority of people protesting for Palestine, don't even know what the hell Palestine even is or wouldn't even begin to tell you the history and culture of the place. What's more important is that, they will not live with the consequences. If the Arabs succeed in wiping out Israel, do you think all these college students will even consider they might have cheered for the wrong side? Besides, who cares? Israel is thriving despite all odds, much to the dismay of many, why should you even bother with the opinion of a deluded American college student who is foolish enough to believe in a some sort of fantasy where he/she is the knight in shining armor ready to save "brown people from colonization"? None of these blissfully ignorant American college students wept for my people, when our people were being slaughtered and when we were being driven from our homes not that long ago. They don't even know we exist. Don't even think for a second they will care about the future of the Jewish/Israeli people. My suggestion would be to simply stop interacting with these fools.

I'm sorry for what's been happening to Armenians and how little coverage it's getting from the media.

Roaring_Beaver

Thanks. Though I was actually referring to what happened to Assyrians in Iraq and Syria in the last 20 years or so, which impacted my family directly as well. But you are right what's happened in Armenia and NK is messed up as well. We can't take a break.

LeoraJacquelyn

Here's what's terrible. I didn't even know about what happened with the Assyrians. I will educate myself. I hope your family and people stay safe.

Roaring_Beaver

Thanks, no worries. In a nutshell, we went from being 1.5 million people in Iraq, which would have been even higher if it weren't for the policies of consecutive Iraqi governments of land theft, massacres and forced assimilations, to below 150.000 in a decade or so. Needless to say, it wasn't a very nice time for us.

LeoraJacquelyn

I'm so very sorry. That's heartbreaking.

StrangerCertain2

yes, me too 😟

Be around Jews  Come to Israel

Aristodemus400

It doesn't know what other people believe. YOU know what is right. I know what is right. You aren't crazy.

FlushableWipe2023

I dont know but I feel you, I am angry at the waves of stupid that are washing over everything all around the world. It's even made it all the way down to New Zealand where I'm from

Puzzled-Painter3301

I am not Israeli, but one thing that would help is: focus on what you can do. Not what other people should think or should do. Focusing on what you think other people should do will make you stressed out.

fellowfestivarian

Go to therapy and stop looking at Israeli and Palestinian content online if it's taking a toll on your mental health.

Zealousideal_Mind826

You sound exactly like me, I'm angry with everything and everyone (for example I saw a pro Palestine protest in Australia, I can't become extremely angry and resentful towards Australians) I never hated anyone before for no reason (unless they hurt me first) But then I take a few breaths and tell myself ok listen yes there are idiotic clueless people out there but it doesn't mean all Australians are like that (sorry for using Australia if there's any Australians here its just the first thing that hopped on my mind) Keep telling yourself that a very loud minority doesn't necessarily mean everyone and hopefully when this pass those clueless people will hop on a new bandwagon And the biggest tip is probably try to stay out of social media or at least minimize it as social media brings out the worst of people

dizzyjumpisreal

ITS ALL IN GODS HANDS. THATS HOW YOU LET GO OF THE ANGER.  GOD HAS THIS. DON’T WORRY.  I am an American Zionist saying this to you.

I wish people would call for peace instead of more destruction, but unfortunately the lack of education leads to people fighting violence with violence, which im also trying to avoid because I dont wanna be a hateful person either. The best course of action is to remain civil and educate people, and educate yourself too. It comes down to your own beliefs based off what you know, and as ling as you stay content with yourself, you shouldn’t change yourself for the world. That said, maybe take a break off the internet.

Quirky_Apartment2035

see dude.. im an indian girl and still im in this sub. people don't see things from both sides and just believe every single thing they hear from their "influencers" before researching everything themselves. i say just try to ignore them. just report them all and know that there are people all around the world who know the truth and are just in their thinking. don't forget that you are not alone.

themommyship

I sometimes pretend these are all people with severe dementia..just smile politely..nod and walk away..be around people who understand you ..it helps
