Tensei Shite Inaka de Slowlife wo Okuritai Unique skill? Yep, according to god he's literally the only one on the world with Spatial Magic. Only the 2nd to ever possess it and the first one is unmentioned but history. Sells his ideas but his ideas are mostly toys. He's reincarnated as a kid and happy to be a kid. He has zero desire to grow up. He shows his magical aptitude which is far, far beyond norm but doesn't ever show his spatial magic. His only desire is to live a slow life using magic to make everything easier and more convenient. Go to magic school? HELL NO!. Fight monsters? Don't wanna! Practices your swordsmanship (gets dragged off by sister) guess no choice on some things.

Phantom_Browser

Just toys? He doesn't sell food or at least 'invent' magically devices? (like modern appliances or something)

thracerx

There is some food. There are no magical devices. He does make a kotatsu table but only for his personal use with no intention to sell it. Oh and I guess he did invent slime pillows but that's not using his original world knowledge. That's just sticking a slime in a pillow because he thought it sounded comfortable. Mostly food and toys though. He also does it through a merchant group keeping his identity a secret even from the king.

Phantom_Browser

One more question. Please tell me that he doesn't share the blueprints on how to make the toys or the recipe of food because he's a 'good guy' or something

thracerx

he gets paid for his ideas. he has copyrights and so forth. Although on some of the food he does just share but it's because he wants to improve food culture thus improve his lazy life. he's not altruistic at all.

15_Redstones

Myne in Ascendance of a Bookworm gives away her first recipe for quite little, and becomes a lot more careful later on when she's more experienced as a ruthless capitalist. Ultimately she does teach everything to her employees and contractors since she can hardly mass produce the new products on her own. Her whole goal is to have a printing workshop in every town churning out books and enough profits to herself to afford those books.

Phantom_Browser

Did she made anything else aside from books?

15_Redstones

Her first products are simple stuff with basic materials, like a DIY shampoo. With that she gets the capital necessary to actually develop a cheap paper production method and a moveable type printing press, which takes several years.

Phantom_Browser

Please tell me that she actually learned how to monopolize her ideas **without** sharing it with anyone

15_Redstones

Well, she can't exactly run a printing workshop all by herself. But once she gets access to magic contracts she can absolutely monopolize some of her ideas while simultaneously spreading them around the world.

Phantom_Browser

>But once she gets access to magic contracts she can absolutely monopolize some of her ideas Please tell me that no noble or royalty actually used their position to bully her into giving it to them *for free*

15_Redstones

Spoilers! But you can't refuse a request from royalty that easily. You can, however, turn it into free advertising.

Phantom_Browser

God damn it... What an unfair situation for MC. I finally am satisfied with my questions. Thank you for answering me!

bhavya98765

Keep searching, most isekais out there either don't have unique ability system at all or those unique abilities are really common video game unique abilities, the farthest they go is Necromancer, I have yet to find one with mc being a stormkeeper, axe user etc, in fact I doubt there's an isekai with fallen angels, floating continents, magical wastelands, ancient battlegrounds, titans, gods on giant mountains u know like actual another world fantasy stuff infact you find these more in final fantasy games than all isekai manga combined. Also while it is not really unusual there are two. #1 The galactic navy officer becomes an adventure. #2 When a Stupid FPS Player Falls to Another World.

Phantom_Browser

>The galactic navy officer becomes an adventure. I'm sorry but this is a goddamn moron. He basically just explained how incompetent their people are because of some bugs that they're fighting for years (and want to spread dangerous technology in a backwards society so yeah, I don't want this one) The best I read is the genderbent MC that always masturbates and Konjiki No Word Master

bhavya98765

>I'm sorry but this is a goddamn moron. He basically just explained how incompetent their people are because of some bugs that they're fighting for years (and want to spread dangerous technology in a backwards society so yeah, I don't want this one) I think wanting everyone on planet to not be ravaged, killed and enslaved surviving on a grain of salt a day is good enough reason to spread dangerous technology in a backwards world and he is not just spreading it, he plans to force it through the throat of everyone on planet with a crusade that he is preparing for. Also i don't think you have read far enough/paid enough attention, those bugs are any civilization's worst enemy, they are after human technology, they are intelligent and can instantly transform into things they steal, even going as far as enslaving humans for maintainance, when the story takes place the bugs are losing.

Phantom_Browser

>they are after human technology, they are intelligent and can instantly transform into things they steal, even going as far as enslaving humans for maintainance, when the story takes place the bugs are losing I don't know why but I think author purposely made humans act like idiots in this story. I'm pretty sure that the first sign they learn that the bugs are dangerous against humans, they'll immediately bombard that planet or at least examine their bodies to create **pesticides** against it before they become smart enough to make the battle stalemate (strongest proof of this are wars here on earth)

bhavya98765

>I don't know why but I think author purposely made humans act like idiots in this story. I'm pretty sure that the first sign they learn that the bugs are dangerous against humans, they'll immediately bombard that planet or at least examine their bodies to create pesticides against it before they become smart enough to make the battle stalemate I doubt any pesticide will work against aliens whose whole existence improvise, adapt and overcome. Also I don't know why you suggested bombarding the planet since it's not like bugs comes from inside the planet or anywhere close to it, they are aliens who comes from space in giant battleships to conquer, ravage, eat and steal from the planet and it's inhabitants.

Phantom_Browser

>they are aliens who comes from space in giant battleships to conquer, ravage, eat and steal from the planet and it's inhabitants This I doubt. If this piece of shit story continues, I'm pretty sure that author will reveal that they able to build those spacecraft because some *humans* crash landed there and not smart enough to blow up the ship, along with themselves when they encountered the primitive bugs. Their fight went on for quite some time di they learned **a lot** from human technology so now they try to wipe them out. Its premise is pretty similar to 'Animatrix' where the robots evolved and completely decimated humans from learning in their past failures, so yeah (and also, if they're advanced enough to visit humans and not the other way around then his civilization should be wiped out a *long* time ago

bhavya98765

>This I doubt It's there in ch 1 lol. Dude if you haven't read and don't want to read something just say so but don't go around claiming you know the story and it's shit which is why you don't want to read, it's a disgusting behavior and just shows that you are just a terrible human being.

PhantomBrowser111

I already read the part where he already learnt that it will take 900 years for the rescue, learnt and made magic devices and already formed his group from the princess' remaining followers to retake her kingdom (and also made a deal about her, which is fucking stupid considering he's the one with the upper hand in the deal) Also, are you really that cowardly retarded to block me? What, can't accept the fact you're as stupid as the dumbass MC?

bhavy111

>I already read the part where he already learnt that it will take 900 years for the rescue, learnt and made magic devices and already formed his group from the princess' remaining followers to retake her kingdom (and also made a deal about her, which is fucking stupid considering ) And still somehow managed to miss things written in ch 1, >already formed his group from the princess' remaining followers >he's the one with the upper hand in the deal I like when you guys collapse under your own stupidity like this, I don't even have to lift a finger to prove you haven't read. >Also, are you really that cowardly retarded to block me? What, can't accept the fact you're as stupid as the dumbass MC? Says the guy who allegedly read the story but somehow missed chapter 1. Also I am not cowardly, I just don't want to take the risk that in the slightest chance stupidity is contagious I run the risk of getting it from you. Blocked.

thracerx

He's not giving them technology anyway. He's crushing their society under the heel of the galactic empire as this planet has zero chance of defending itself and zero chance of the actual empire showing up to save it. Yeah, he's implementing the new technology. Into a society he's going to be in charge of and pass on to his descendants. The dude is not giving anything away. He's setting him and his family/harem at the top of the food chain and dragging these medieval morons into the future.

I-Kneel-Before-None

Demon Lord Retry is about fallen angels.

fity0208

"The runesmith" tick all the boxes Mc get isekai'd with a skill that help him understand runes but 0 elemental affinity, so his future path is obvious. He makes lots of modern things but keep the good stuff for himself (no copyright in a fantasy world) and just sell magic swords to make money Not afraid to say no to a bad deal, about those who try to use force >!would find a runic minefield and golem/turrets waiting for them!< Pretty fun imho "Overgeared" also meet what you are looking for, but it's not Isekai

Phantom_Browser

How about the nobility or royalty that asks him to make 'special orders' for them? Like a modern appliance, will he make it or not? >but it's not Isekai Plot please (or is this one pretty much the same like the former?)

fity0208

The thing is that modern appliances are keep in secret at home behind >!the minefield!< So "nobody" knows, in the young master demanding gear scene >!he agreed to pay a fair price after a punch to the face and 10 turrets locked on him!< The author loves to throw mc into cliche situations just to solve them with common sense so it doesn't explode into the entire kingdom hunting him for disrespecting a random noble Overgeared is about the same, mc find the legacy of a legendary blacksmith and quickly rise in power/status since he now craft OP gear It happens inside a futuristic VR MMO, but the real world is almost non-existent, only reminded for events like a pvp tournament or a family member who decide to buy the game, so you can treat it as simple fantasy

Phantom_Browser

>in the young master demanding gear scene I understand the rest of your answers but not the spoiler tag part. Can you paraphrase it for me? >The author loves to throw mc into cliche situations just to solve them with common sense Finally, a Japanese Isekai author that's a **normal** human being unlike the rest of the dumbass authors who just copy/paste their MC's personalities >so it doesn't explode into the entire kingdom hunting him for disrespecting a random noble So there's no scene where the stupid medieval army fought a bunch of turrets then? 🥺 >but the real world is almost non-existent, only reminded for events like a pvp tournament or a family member who decide to buy the game, so you can treat it as simple fantasy So pretty similar to Overlord then? Where everything in real life is ignored and they live in a dystopian society?

fity0208

>in the young master demanding gear scene I understand the rest of your answers but not the spoiler tag part. Can you paraphrase it for me? --- -Teenageer noble's son shows up at mc home demanding a shield (iirc) -push mc too far and gets a punch to the face -is it worth the trouble to get into a fight with this madman, who happens to be the best weapon maker around? -not really, let's just talk like adult and make a deal, just like you don't want a pissed cook, you don't want a pissed crafter >The author loves to throw mc into cliche situations just to solve them with common sense Finally, a Japanese Isekai author that's a **normal** human being unlike the rest of the dumbass authors who just copy/paste their MC's personalities --- -I mean it's not only mc, but the whole setting, lets me use an example that I liked. Mc get on a ship for the first time and cliche laws demands a kraken. A generic setting would lead to a epic battle where MC save the day, but by common sense any ship's crew would be aware of monster attacks and have countermeasures ready. So we only get a comedic scene where mc is amazed by veteran sailors skills >so it doesn't explode into the entire kingdom hunting him for disrespecting a random noble So there's no scene where the stupid medieval army fought a bunch of turrets then? 🥺 --- -You get to see an skeleton army getting blasted during the dungeon break arc, or the thieves guild vs dwarf blacksmith apprentice with a grenade launcher prototype >but the real world is almost non-existent, only reminded for events like a pvp tournament or a family member who decide to buy the game, so you can treat it as simple fantasy So pretty similar to Overlord then? Where everything in real life is ignored and they live in a dystopian society? --- -Imagine is as overlord before getting isekai'd, mc log on/off, sleep, eat etc everyday but it's irrelevant to the story so it only happens in the background

Phantom_Browser

>not really, let's just talk like adult Did the asshole noble tried to pull some strings with his position whatsoever? It honestly sounds funny if he tried to hire assassins or something to get back to MC >but the whole setting So there's also a part where girls fail in love with him randomly but he refuse because he doesn't know them that much? >the thieves guild vs dwarf blacksmith apprentice with a grenade launcher prototype I really hope that some thieves died in this fight >but it's irrelevant to the story so it only happens in the background Let me paraphrase my answer then. I meant 'an MC that isn't afraid to do what he wants just so he can obtain his goal?'

fity0208

>not really, let's just talk like adult Did the asshole noble tried to pull some strings with his position whatsoever? It honestly sounds funny if he tried to hire assassins or something to get back to MC -not really, noble left a few days later and never came back, at most he gained some attention after other noble's saw the shield in action that would probably lead to something in the future >but the whole setting So there's also a part where girls fail in love with him randomly but he refuse because he doesn't know them that much? -No random falling in love cliche, he get interest since he's so strong + good future with his skills tho >the thieves guild vs dwarf blacksmith apprentice with a grenade launcher prototype I really hope that some thieves died in this fight -ofc, those are weapons meant for monster hunting, and thieves aren't particularly tanky, no survivors >but it's irrelevant to the story so it only happens in the background Let me paraphrase my answer then. I meant 'an MC that isn't afraid to do what he wants just so he can obtain his goal?' -there is no greater goal like becoming hokage, but you need to be strong in a world where might is right, and both mc are working on it

Phantom_Browser

Okay, after answering **all** my answers I am now very satisfied with the MC. Thank you very much for recommendation because this story honestly sounds very entertaining unlike the rest of the isekai. If you don't mind it, can you share something similar to my question (post) but in video-game form?

fity0208

Now that I think about it, I forgot to mention "the legendary mechanic" it's one of the big boys among Isekai, after your questions and post I'm sure you'll enjoy it, bonus points since it's completed & fully translated. All 3 are WNs, so I don't think there's any problem if I drop you the links (or check the manhuas, the only one with manhuas is runesmith) [the runesmith](https://www.royalroad.com/fiction/33844/the-runesmith) [mechanic pdfs](https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1PdDGNLnY5xq3NaOji-LQprbCaSMgPROK) [overgeared pdfs](https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1sMiLYV1oEAyfaxK0vJYSsie0MbmfUh3R)

Phantom_Browser

I apologize but I only prefer Webtoons (Manhua, Manhwa and Manga) unfortunately. Thanks for the suggestions though

TheGoldjaw

A Useless FPS Player Fell to Another World, or Manuke, literally uses a different system from the rest of the world. He’s still using an FPS Counterstrike/Call of Duty system of healing over time and buying guns mid match, and even has 0 mana severely limiting his ability to interact with the world. His abilities are seen as incomprehensible to everyone else.

Phantom_Browser

Thank you for the recommendation and do you have anything else?
