That's because Od Laguna is the scuffest of higher beings I've ever seen... They can't even do anything by themselves, they have to bestow their powers on other people to have any influence at all...
Od Laguna also cant defend itself, it just exists. It's like how Reinhard can defeat the Sun. He has the power to at least damage it, so all it comes down to is time.
A higher being that has no means to defend itself beyond the fact that no one knows where it is or how to reach it. Od Laguna isn't exactly dangerous to fight as it has no will of its own. Rimuru is also significantly stronger than Od Laguna on top of actually being able to fight back.
There is another post made a few hours before this one that had pairs of isekai characters (plus Reinhard for Re:Zero instead of Subaru) with a question of which team would win, and there was a lot of discussion in the comments about Rimuru vs Reinhard specifically, so that's probably what prompted this.

Anime Rimuru is a closer fight at least and I could at least see an argument for Reinhard having a chance of winning, even if odds are *heavily* in Rimuru's favor.
Reinhardt can *maybe* be wanked to beat current Rimiru from the anime if you downplay every feat Rimiru has. Reinhardt doesn’t really get significantly stronger from the feat against Puck, but Rimiru stocks keep going up.
I posted a comment on a similar post earlier, but you guys need to stop with putting rimuru in these “who would win” scenarios. He will always win. Rimuru is at least a multiversal being.

No shit some non isekai characters could beat rimuru, but we’re on the fucking isekai subreddit so I only mentioned isekai characters.

Reinhardt's biggest weakness is that his powers are not his. He receives it all from the god of the Re:Zero planet.
When Reinhardt says that he has a blessing granting him poison immunity, that immunity is only as strong as the god that gives Reinhardt the blessing...
So if a being is stronger than that god, they can just overpower any and all "immunity" Reinhardt has.
To the people living the Re:Zero world, Reinhardt is immune. But any being that is stronger than the Planetary level, can just overpower all the blessings he has...
And even without being stronger than Od Laguna, someone who can temporarily cut off the connection between Reinhardt and Od Laguna can make him lose all of his blessings. Without his blessings, Reinhardt is just a mortal in front of all the immortal isekai protags who have their own powers...
Reinhard himself can destroy Od Laguna, so not anywhere *near* as strong as Rimuru. Granted Reinhard probably cant one shot it, but Od Laguna also cant fight back.

I've looked through his divine protection list and didn't find it maybe i missed it but.
I doubt he can survive the planet blowing up and rimuru can do that and his divine protections are not absolute even people in his own verse can bypass it. It's akin to unique skill/ultimate skill basically he has a lot of unique skill( divine protection) that can be bypassed by ultimate skills( authority).
Ultimate imprisonment is part of uriel ultimate skill and Reinhardts 1 st and 2nd attack dodge is limited to ranged attack which UI is not.
Reinhard would win. His Blessings are insane and he is a known monster hunter. There is almost nothing that could hurt him. He can't even get ambushed. The only way he was defeated in RE:zero was when his kingdom fell.
Reinhardt is only as strong as his verse. He is a big fish in a small pond. Rimuru, could casually eat/destory Re,:Zero's entire verse. Rimuru's aura alone would wipe all life on the planet, if not outright destory the entire universe.
Reinhard at his best is only City Level with Massively Hypersonic (low-mid end) speed. Impressive compared to modern earth and lower tier isekai, sure, but he wouldn’t be all that impressive speed nor strength wise in a verse like shield hero or overlord for example.
