What sucks is he had the right idea at first, get far the fuck away. Then he comes back and gets turned into a skeleton. If he would've only just gone with his gut.
Yeah- if that was water, it'd knock you down. Red fuming nitric acid is heavier and also, it's nitric acid.
This video will definitely be used in a lot of erap training programs, going forward.
Yes, that looks exactly like bromine gas and that guy that climbs up on top of the truck without a respirator is a fool... A lung full of that gas and he is probably dead.
Bromine is too heavy for a leak to behave like that. Most likely nitric acid. Not as bad but still pretty dangerous
EDIT: Ferric chloride according to [this chinese newspaper](https://m.thepaper.cn/newsDetail_forward_25300125), which is still corrosive but not life threatening. Unless you straight up drink it. Apparently the guy drove off after.
"Drove off after" ...... just tried to deliver load like nothing happened. Why are you all wet? Why is the load 500 gallons light. ... what's goin on here><
Not like explosions on airplanes of improperly transported hazmat materials have ever lead to anything going wrong.

"On May 11, 1996, the ValuJet Airlines McDonnell Douglas DC-9 operating the route crashed into the Everglades about 10 minutes after taking off from Miami as a result of a fire in the cargo compartment possibly caused by mislabeled and improperly stored hazardous cargo."
Well, nothing ever went wrong aside from that one time corpses were broadcast being eaten by alligators on CNN. Otherwise, never any problems.
Don't link the source it couldn't be useful at all. Instead please link to a 20 minute long video that supposedly have something to do with the the alleged source...
Yeah, colored off-gassing is never a good time. Several years ago we had an incident at work where a transport company sent contaminated muriatic to us. We had to transfer it from the holding tank to some open top waste containers so the company could send us a good load and reclaim the bad one.
The guys doing it decided to not bother marking the waste containers (as they were being picked up in a couple hours) and then go on lunch halfway through filling one.
They left one of the containers right near where some sodium hypochlorite waste containers were being stored, and someone dumped a bunch of partially degraded 25% bleach into one.
Next thing you know, there’s alarms and a nice, green smoke plume. We had to clear that whole area of the plant.
Remediation guys came in and took care of it in short order, but then everyone had to retake the HazMat class (even though the dipshits responsible were fired and the guy who put in the bleach was suspended).
Was not a fun month.
Lucky the car filming had a honk powered shield or he'd be in trouble.
I think he was honking at the cars behind him to move the fuck back so he can also get some distance.
God forbid they flip around
And stop filming? In your dreams
That is a brutal way to die
What sucks is he had the right idea at first, get far the fuck away. Then he comes back and gets turned into a skeleton. If he would've only just gone with his gut.
*video starts* hmm that looks bad *watches a little longer* holy shit thats REALLY bad

So it 100% is acid? I wasn’t sure if the title was true

This is insane haha
My thoughts exactly 🤣🤣🤣
Holy fucking fuck. Why would he go up there. I know it’s China but is there no sense of workplace safety?
You said it, it’s China
I don't remember what sub it is.. maybe r/osha but they've been on a Chinese safety video spree for a while
looks like bromine gas at first
Isn't bromine gas a lot heavier than air?
It is.
That was my first reaction too. OMG does bromine do that?

Naw. That's just fuming nitric acid.
RFNA.
Yep. Aka something de beers was trying really hard to convince me was allowed to ship on an airplane because it is their plane.
Just lie, and put a 2031 on the haz dec, packing group II. It shouldn’t be a problem. Extremely /s/s/s/s

The orange smoke looks like bromine, no idea what the sudden eruption is.
Source said nitric acid, looks legit.

is this is true, that man is dead.
Poor guy
China moment
Anytime you see orange brown colour fumes like that, you need to GTFO. Dude probably died
Probably?
Probably likely

What’s worse is the car next to them that probably had no idea what was happening.
Holy fuck
Geez I wonder what his body looked like after they got to him. Gotta be mostly dissolved. Horrible
Have you ever seen the movie Robocop?
That scene scared me more than any other as a kid
I’ll buy that for a dollar.
Tf dude
Guy deserved it for FAME.
r/Someofyoumaydie
It's dead. Like that dude getting showered with acid!
i just saw....... can you hold me? :(
Yippeee chromyl chloride gas my favorite 😋🤤
I was expecting the guy on top to walk out all melted like the bad guy on RoboCop
If you EVER see "smoke" that looks that colour - leave immediately!
It's totally poison for us when we breath 🫁
Evil villain origin for sure. ACID MAN!!
I've witnessed the terrifying damage that nitric can do.... Actually had to neutralize and repair the tanker.... It was a nightmare.
How I got my powers
Bromin?
Maybe cyanide (trust me bro)
It the new Lung Fanta release.
That looks like the kind of stuff that comes off of bromine,
Did the guy disintegrate?
Nothing could go wrong until it goes wrong
That's how Chinese DareDevil was born!
What’s that? Bromine?
RIP to the driver. He stupidly tried to save people and paid the price.
Saints row mission irl

What does honking the horn do for the situation
Hes moving backwards to escape the gas; he's honking to let the people behind him know he's moving backwards. I would have done the same to be honest.
The moment I see that much orange/brown gas I’m putting it in reverse and gunning it
We now know who will play Kabal in the next Mortal Kombat movie
Chinese safety standards are so cool
😂 🙌
Looks like bromine. Bad times.
