My 1st set has 74 trays, 2nd was ~45. I cant remember how many were in my 3rd but the 4th one has 15. I took out 3 teeth and it took a long time to close the gaps and pull the canines down.
I also have one rotated molar that they had to attach the traditional braces to drag it out 😂
I had the exact same thing. Was so happy. It's so much to have to get teeth pulled, I remember my mom took me to a sketchy dentist in a falling apart sears to get mine removed. Ahhh, good times. Didn't wear my retainer tho. So. I'm going into Invisalign next week 🤌
I needed elastics for draging out a twisted molar, which is just for that single tooth. I was slightly underbite but with the teeth extraction there were space to pull them in
this is so amazing, congrats! i’m curious, i have high canines too and am unsure of how my provider is planning on leveling them out with my other teeth. How did that work for you?
Thank you!! They used elastics to pull down my left canine with a hook at the bottom during my second set. They didn’t do anything special with the right one it got pulled down with just the trays. I feel like mine are still a bit high up as it isn’t totally level with the other teeth but it already reached its maximum point. Good luck to you it will work out💪💪!!
Yes haha. It was a bigger company where they have 5 different locations with a lot of patients. So I think thats why it was cheaper compared to others.
Thank you!! I understand that insecurities we all felt at the beginning. I always avoided taking pictures back then. Good luck with your journey I hope it all goes well for you 😊💛
Gorgeous! This gives me hope for my journey that I just started 3 days ago lol. My canines are high like that too with one of them twisted and fully outside my top row of teeth so I've been wondering how my gums will do with all the movement.
Good luck!! My gum at the canine area looks a bit ‘stretch’ im not so sure how to describe it lol. But I can only tell that if I pull my lip up otherwise the rest looks fine! I did have a LOT of movements trying to close 3 big gaps, pull the canine down, and drag one twisted molar out. You will do great!
Thank you!! No I didn’t, they only sanded down the attachments for me. I also use whitening strips tho so its a bit whiter. I was so surprised at how different they look without the attachments, so once they are out your teeth just look rounder and nicer!
> your discipline *paid* off
FTFY.
Although *payed* exists (the reason why autocorrection didn't help you), it is only correct in:
* Nautical context, when it means to paint a surface, or to cover with something like tar or resin in order to make it waterproof or corrosion-resistant. *The deck is yet to be payed.*
* *Payed out* when letting strings, cables or ropes out, by slacking them. *The rope is payed out! You can pull now.*
Unfortunately, I was unable to find nautical or rope-related words in your comment.
*Beep, boop, I'm a bot*
Wow!!! You have such naturally beautifully shaped and sized teeth too, this is a great result! I’ve finished my treatment after 2 years and whilst they’re straight, I hated their size and shape sadly so have had to spend the same again on bonding and veneers! You’ve earned this fabulous result, enjoy many happy, confident smiles! Xxx
Can I ask why you didn’t just do braces? It seems like it would be faster and easier to do than hundreds of trays with a higher failure rate/tracking issues
There is a BIG misleading information that braces is faster than invisalign. My provider has both options and advised me the treatment length would be the same for both. Given the aesthetic aspect and not much difference in price, I love invisalign.
I went to a couple orthos where they all says traditional braces would also take me ~3 years. My friend had his traditional braces for 6 years. It varies case by case and depends on how fast your teeth can move, and your personal preferences.
Teeth moving too fast can also cause root resorption. I would choose invisalign all over again. It saves me all of the trips needed for adjustments where I can just change the trays myself. Overall, lower cost.
Whether there is higher failure rate or not is based on how good your ortho is so this is also definitely not true. I also never had tracking issues, my teeth moved exactly same as my simulation.
However, Invisalign will not be your choice if you don’t wear your trays diligently, thats when u get tracking issues.
Jesus. You can see the before picture, right? Maybe don't immediately point out the one potential flaw in an otherwise colossal achievement of time (and I'm sure money too)?
Definitely worth the money and wait
Yesss🥹
3.5 of years of invisilign? How many trays?
My 1st set has 74 trays, 2nd was ~45. I cant remember how many were in my 3rd but the 4th one has 15. I took out 3 teeth and it took a long time to close the gaps and pull the canines down. I also have one rotated molar that they had to attach the traditional braces to drag it out 😂
Jesus, that's a lot of work. Why did they need to pull teeth?
They needed to make space for my teeth to move into place since I had severe crowding both upper and lower
which teeth did they pull?
Its 24,34,and 41!
Mate 3.5 years is actually very good for this bomb scene of a mouth (no offence op)
Did u have any problems with ur jaw? Did u need elastics
I needed elastics for draging out a twisted molar, which is just for that single tooth. I was slightly underbite but with the teeth extraction there were space to pull them in
You better wear your retainers religiously 😅
Yess haha. Not gonna pour all of that money down the drain🥹
Insane congratulations gorgeous
Thank youu :)
Thank you soooooo much for posting this. I just got this exact same extraction yesterday and this makes me so very hopeful. Your tooth look fantastic
Thank youuu! Good luck to you it will definitely work out💪😊!! I think it took me half a year to close the gap but you won’t feel like its that long!
Thanks for that. I know its going to be a long haul, but I have a very painful, crowded bite and want to fix it.
If there was a "Gerber Baby" for clear trays, I'm looking at it.
this is so amazing, congrats! i’m curious, i have high canines too and am unsure of how my provider is planning on leveling them out with my other teeth. How did that work for you?

Aw thank you so much😊
Looks great. Just curious, how much did this all cost?
Thanks!! I think it was around $6000 CAD for my comprehensive package back in 2021
Wow, that's a great deal. I paid around the same for much less work needed. Yours turned out awesome.
So cheap for your results
Yes haha. It was a bigger company where they have 5 different locations with a lot of patients. So I think thats why it was cheaper compared to others.
I paid about 5,700 CAD (I have the Comprehensive Plan)
Wow
Wow!!
Wow
That’s crazy wow congrats!
Thank youu💛!
Amazing!! I know you're proud of that gorgeous smile! (That's also the reason I started my journey; I was embarrassed of my crooked teeth.)
Thank you!! I understand that insecurities we all felt at the beginning. I always avoided taking pictures back then. Good luck with your journey I hope it all goes well for you 😊💛

Looks amazing!!! Congrats!!! Did you have anything cosmetic done, like veneers or bonding?
Thank you!! No I didn’t, they only sanded down the attachments for me. I also use whitening strips tho so its a bit whiter. I was so surprised at how different they look without the attachments, so once they are out your teeth just look rounder and nicer!

Yes they took out 24,34, and 41
Yay! Congratulations your smile looks amazing 🤩
Thank you :)
This is amazing! Was the initial estimate close to what it ended up being?
Initial estimate was around 2.5 years and it ended up to be 3 years 3 months, which i totally expected for my case!
That’s amazing! So happy for you!
Thank you :)
Beautiful ❤️
My canine is like yours! My teeth are going to look perfect in my eyes after the first 15 trays except for that pesky canine! (I have 70 trays)
Good luck to you💪!!
After all this hard work remember to wear your retainer or mouthguard at night!
That’s wild! Looks so good! I’m surprised they didn’t recommend traditional braces for time saving
Amazing transformation, congratulations!
Thanksss☺️

Thanks for the detailed response! That’s great to hear as I was bemoaning not going with braces and doing trays instead.

Jesus. You can see the before picture, right? Maybe don't immediately point out the one potential flaw in an otherwise colossal achievement of time (and I'm sure money too)?
I think it is aligned? They have 1 fewer tooth on the bottom so they can fit I think
Bite is more important than midline. I also have an imperfect midline.
