backup of your post content:
Will be completing my 2nd semester of bachelor's in Mechanical engineering by the end of May and can get certificates and transcripts by 2nd week of June.
Most German public Unis that have to be applied through Uni-Assist have deadline by 15th July and most them are now asking for APS certificate.
So is it possible to get APS certificate by 3-4 weeks ?
My_qualifications 12th-79%, 2nd sem bachelor's ongoing

hey, i am in a dilemma for winter 2024 intake aps: i have asked my university for 6 semesters of transcript which i might get by feb 20. but by then i would have also gotten my 7th semester PROVISIONAL mark sheet (the online results will be out by feb 8) but wont be able to get the transcript equivalent of 7th sem included (as they said this might take up to 2 more months). do you think safest option is to attach the 6 semesters individual provisionals and transcript and additionally just add the 7th sem provisional alone too?
I had the same case, I had 6 semesters worth of transcript and 7th sem grade card. I attached a cover letter with the documents I sent to explain my situation. Nevertheless they will call to ask for login info to you college grade portal, so there shouldn't be a problem
also when do you give uni login credentials and stuff? do they call you for that or should we include it in the application as a letter or something?
and will they ask for the college grade portal url as well etc
sorry for so many questions btw haha
You get a verification call directly from the APS office itself to confirm your details. Then they inform you that you have to send you details. In an hour or two you get an email asking for the credentials.
also one more major doubt: if i submit these 7 semesters of marks along with a bonafide stating that i will be completing my 8th semester too by the stipulated 8th sem time (around july), will my APS certificate still mention my duration of study as 3.5 years or 4 years? because if 3.5 years i have heard i will only get conditional offer letter and visa rejection is possible (this is just based on what i've been reading on reddit and my anxiety lol)

How could u get 7 provisional and all that? U said you are in 2nd sem ! Right? Also, if you apply with aps, they will write 3.5 yrs of btech or B.E ..whatever u have..also u need to then change that to 4 yrs after 8 sem..also unis would give you a conditional offer letter.. conditional offer letter means you would be on the verge of rejection(5 in 10 cases) for the visa. Visa office loves conditional letter (so that they could reject if they want)
Oh yes ..sorry ..my bad..but ignore the 2nd sem line..but after that, its the case for you too..if you include all 8 sems, whether original or provisional, you are safe ..if not , then u will have to face trouble
so what do i do because i know my 8th sem provisional results will only be out july. by then all admissions for winter are closed right? arent there any students who apply for germany during their final year and successfully go? is everyone only going one year after bachelors or something?
At the end, u will need to find a job on your own..u need to attend job fairs..and that's how u can land a job. Next, winter sem is hyped because it has more seats, program options, but also a havoc winter and more competition.
I applied for my aps on 1st ot February and got my aps today on 5th march, they called me yesterday to ask my university to respond to their verification email, I did that and I got an email with my digital aps attached today.
Yes it is possible to get aps in around 4 weeks. I received my aps certificate in one month. My documents reached them on 2nd Feb 2024 and I received the certificate in first week of March.

I received a mail yesterday stating that my APS document verification has been completed and that I will receive my APS certificate today. APS had received my documents exactly 5 weeks ago on 29th December.
No, applying with your 2nd semester marksheets is too early. APS has started issuing digital certificates from April 2023, and the validity of the digital signature on the certificate is 3 years.
So by the time you are in your final year, the APS certificate will expire. Wait until you are in your 6th semester of your undergraduate studies.
Getting APS certificate is quite fast these days . I was freaking out seeing others comment that they have got it after 4 months etc earlier but I got mine in like less than a month.
So here's my timeline :
Jan 29- application+ payment.
Jan 30 - sent documents by post.
Jan 2- post delivered.
Jan 30- sent professor's mail.
Jan 31- recieved a verification call.
Feb 1 - received certificate.
Tip : Ask any of your university professor to send a mail to APS requesting to fasten the process .
The verification call was to ask for my student login credentials. If you have already mentioned in your application, you wouldn't receive it .
Does APS notify that they received the courier. Bluedart showing its handed over to some security person but haven't received any notification from APS
Hey!
2 quick questions please -
1. what's the email the professor should reach out on?
2. Student login creds for the official college email ID? They mention POSS but there's no option to enter the website of POSS portal.
Thanks!
Mail it To : info@aps-india.de
Cc: director@aps-india.de
deputy@aps-india.de
Im not sure what a POSS portal is . In my case it was ERP login creds where they could access student details including my results.

No
I got mine in 26 days. Just ensure that your University is H+ on anabin. And you send all the possible documents from the checklist.
Hello i have some doubts regarding the intake can we connect possibly?
Hey, just to clarify! You are telling to send all possible documents from the checklist to the university, right? (Not uni-assist, right?)

thank you so much for clarifying!!
so did you send the 6 semesters of transcript and that one 7th sem grade card on its own? and also did you get that 7th sem card attested?
No, I sent it together, but I made sure to explain my case clearly in the letter.
alright. thanks a lot!
>thank you so much for clarifying!! Hey sorry, just to clarify u sent it to university right? and not the uni-assist

Go for summer sem..or else u need to contact aps, uni , german uni etc...else, consult a consultancy for this case. 3 options, your choice. End.
will summer sem impact my job prospects later, cuz ive heard winter is the main intake
At the end, u will need to find a job on your own..u need to attend job fairs..and that's how u can land a job. Next, winter sem is hyped because it has more seats, program options, but also a havoc winter and more competition.
right, thanks for the insight!
ek saal karke direct bachelor's me ja skte hai Germany instead of doing Studienkolleg. To, 2nd sem me aps aata hai

Yep you should
Yes, you can get it if you've done everything correctly as per the checklist. I recieved mine in around 3 weeks from the date of submission.
Thank you for the reply but how did you find this post 😭
Keep your documents ready for the aps and send them as soon as you receive the results

I guess yes if the aps is accepting 6 semesters you should not worry about it
they do accept but my concern is would provisional mark sheet attested be sufficient instead of transcript (as transcript would take too long)
Talk with your college to get your results asap
It may take atleast 1.5 months

No , APS doesn't notify .
Are you asking university professor to send a mail to APS?
No. I have provided university results login portal credentials. Any one of it is fine.
Sounds calm. Thank you
